If she couldn't even do the basic job she was assigned by the revolutionary army, what was her purpose in even existing?

To fail the revolution was a fate even worse than death and losing Lucius, the hope of the revolution, could only be described as just that. After all, nothing could be more costly for the revolution than losing its head figure. Especially now in its time of growing factional disputes

Lucius could see that Camilla was getting lost in her own guilty thoughts and smiled as he patted her on the head

"You really don't need to blame yourself.  I'm fine… I'm… just fine… snore"

Lucius barely finished his sentence before he passed out.

"Lucius!" Cried Camilla

Her heart nearly stopped beating! It was only when she realised that Lucius was only sleeping that she finally calmed herself down.

Fortunately, although Lucius passed out, he wasn't seriously injured or sick.

He was just exhausted.

When Lucius was saying that he was fine before, he was only talking about his physical well-being and not his mental one

Even if his body had healed, it had been pushed to the limit and exhausted. In addition to that, the fight and electrocution had left him exhausted, plus the mental drain of the trial made him fall asleep the instant he felt safe in his room.

"Young Leader…." sighed Camilla

Gazing at the charming sight of Lucius's sleeping side profile, Camilla sighed and picked him up and placed him on the bed

Slight of her shoulder

Tucking him in she stroked the hair on his head

"Continue to fight hard leader"

"Saying that, he does really smell nice."

Timbering the sweet smell of roses on his body.

If Lucius was awake, his smile would be even wider than Camila's because not too long after a familiar stream of notifications sounded off in his mind

.....

As Lucius was getting some important and well deserved rest, Xander was also doing some important business

In an empty room inside of the academy, Xander had gathered the people who followed him.

Even with his embarrassing record till now the people that followed him went few.

He was still the son of a count after all. Commoners and even lower ranking nobles were all desperate to climb up the social hierarchy and they would willingly submit themselves to him no matter how he appeared in front of others.

Appearing in front of the door, Xander walked in with an ugly expression on his face.

His face and body were still recovering, but even worse than these wounds were the scars in his mind that he couldn't erase.

He didn't want to admit it but the fear of Lucius had penetrated deep down into his bones.

Even now, when he closed his eyes, he could see the crazed red eyes of Lucius looking down on him without even the slightest speck of sanity inside them.

Even if it wasn't for his own pride, for his own confidence and sanity, Lucius had to be dealt with!

Walking inside, Xander could see a gathering of people in front of him.

They came from all walks of society. Commoners, knight families, baron families but there were two things that remained consistent.

They were students of Sanctuary and they were all his lackeys.

Each one of them were his loyal dogs.

Of course, most of these people would be from the regular class. With blue talents most common and the occasional purple talents.

As for golden talents?

Sorry, but Xander didn't have the ability to draw such lackeys. Why would they submit to someone like him?

The royal family, the magic tower and the other heroic families would be much better people to attach yourself to.

Although It was not impossible for such a thing to happen if Xander showed enough talent and charisma, the only thing Xander had shown until now was getting his ass beat by a commoner!

Xander looked at the group of students in front of him and nodded.

"I'm sorry to call you all here on such a short notice, but I called you to discuss the recent despicable acts against myself"

'Despicable? Didn't you just get your ass beat?'

Although many of the people here had such thoughts, they didn't say it out loud. This was their boss after all. They still had to show him a little face.

"I was ambushed and sneak attacked by a commoner today. Although the rule of the academy does not allow me to deal with him, the name of the Caldwell family can not be tarnished and that's why I have gathered you today to discuss countermeasures as to deal with him."

It may seem like a big deal to call many people here to discuss how to deal with one man but in actual fact,  Xander's decision was the correct one.

If he was just dealing with Lucius, he could do it alone but he was dealing with Lucius inside of The Sanctuary. What he had to outsmart now wasn't just Lucius but the sanctuary academy as a whole.

With Xander's words discussion quickly broke out on what to do when eventually a young man raised his hand.

"Sir, why don't you hire the assassins of your family to deal with him? Although Lucius may be protected by Sanctuary now, he will have to leave eventually and when he does…"

Hearing this Xander's face snapped towards the man who was speaking

"You? What's your name?"

Seeing Xander's interest the man thought he had made a good suggestion and became a little excited

"My name is James, I come from the Knight family-"

But James didn't even get to make a full introduction before Xander's  cold voice sounded out

"Kneel down and slap yourself."

"P-pardon.." stuttered the man

But Xander's face just grew colder as his eyes narrowed

"Did I stutter?"

James could only cry silent tears as he got down on his knees and gave himself a resounding slap!
