As Lucius read the notification his veins nearly pulsed in his head.

Damn! This false god bastard!

Before Lucius could curse that fake god a few more times under his breath a set of text appeared over the crystal ball

As examiners saw the description and name of the talent the already exited air seemed to reach a new zenith.

Remember, these guys may be examiners now but their true job was still that of a teacher.

What any passionate teacher would want most would always be an excellent student that could absorb their teachings. But with a talent like this, he could even go on beyond simply being an excellent student. He could very well be a hero!

In the eyes of the teachers, whilst this may not be the most amazing or powerful talent, it was a talent that made them the most excited. As teachers, there was nothing that they wanted more!

As long as they could get this kid to be their personal student…

Looking at the strange eyes of these examiners, Lucius felt the hairs on his back stand up and asked

"Erm… so did I pass?"

As the examiner heard this his eyes widened a little before he suddenly burst out laughing

"Hahaha! Pass! Pass! You passed the test with flying colours!" Laughed the examiners

"Although your original base strength and abilities are definitely low, the potential you have more than makes up for it!" Explained the man in a joyful tone.

Faced with blatant praise and favouritism of these examiners, in a situation like this it was normal for a person to feel a little prideful and if it was a normal situation then someone as shameless as Lucius would definitely be filled with pride. But Lucius knew it was all a scam. It was impossible to tell pride over something like this unless he was a deluded lunatic.

But the examiners didn't know this and saw Lucius's calm and steady appearance as a sign of humility and control which only made their opinion of him go up even higher!

The examiners wanted Lucius to stay behind and talk to him for a bit so Lucius obliged and gave a few more details about himself that had long since been provided and planned by the revolutionary army before seeing himself out.

As Lucius came into the room he looked around and could see two beauties standing in the corner.

As soon as Lucius stepped out they quickly saw him and he could see their expressions light up but when they saw Lucius's expressionless face, they soon became nervous.

Before Lucius entered the exam he still told them that it was a possibility that he wouldn't be able to enter Sanctuary and that possibility for him was much greater than the chance of that happening to the two of them.

So as Lucius walked over towards them, Camilla tiled her head up and asked nervously,

"Lucius.. how… how did you do?"

Hearing this Lucius's face looked a little sad as he spoke

"I…I…"

Hearing this Camilla and Alice's bodies tended as she waited with bated breath

"I… passed! Hahaha! Did I scare you a little back there?" Asked Lucius, unable to contain himself from laughing at their nervous yet beautiful expressions.

Alice couldn't help but pout a little at Lucius prank but deep down inside she was still happy.

"As the first friend I made, I'm happy that we can spend our time together in The Sanctuary as well."

Looking at the resident beauty smiling at him, Lucius subconsciously felt better that was until a weird feeling crept up on him

'Hold up.. what did she say?'

Recalling Alice's words, Lucius's mind shuddered almost as if it was hit by thunder.

He could only curse himself for his carelessness and maybe treating her too much like a little kid because of her own innocent nature.

Your boy was deep in the friend zone

'Well shit…' thought Lucius.

For an innocent and naive girl like Alice that hadn't seen the world yet, Lucius was even prepared to use a few shameless means to seduce her but now it seems like that plan would have to be on hold.

Now that he was in the friend zone he could only strap in for the long grind.

Just as Lucius was lamenting his own carelessness, he heard a sudden commotion break out to his side further down the hallway.

Out of curiosity, Lucius couldn't help but look over and was shocked to see a large crowd of students crowding around and chattering wildly

"Just what on earth is going on?" asked Lucius, a little shocked.

Seeing that it was finally her tune to educate Lucius, Alice couldn't help h it puff out her chest as she spoke

"Oh that, I heard that a day before we took the assessment there was an amazing person that came before us and broke all records of the entrance exam in every single category!

Strength

Agility

Endurance

Mana

Each one was shattered with ease! But even more shocking than this guy's physical abilities were his talents
