Lucius rubbed his neck and looked down at the crumpled bully with a look of pure disdain on his face.

How could a bunch of bullies be so shameless to throw their weight around in front of him?

The constant yapping of the hero's descendants was starting to get on his nerves.

If you were going to act like a villain at least do it with your own strength.

That was the difference between fodder and true threats

As an aspiring Final boss himself, Lucius felt his villainous little juniors needed to be taught a lesson.

As Lucius was having these thoughts, Ryan to his side cried out

"Watch out! Behind you!"

But it was already too late,

The other bully had appeared behind and his fist shot out like a rocket crashing into Lucius's body.

But the bully's widened as his fist passed straight through Lucius's body

Lucius didn't even bother to pay attention to this attacker and turn around but instead casually walked towards the first bully he had left slumped on the ground.

The utter disregard for his presence made the bully infuriated causing him to let out a flurry of blows in Lucius's direction, but at the end of the day, it was all futile

Each time he attacked, Lucius body would flicker like a glitchy screen and each fist would pass through him

Seeing such an eerie sight happening in front of him the attacker felt his blood go cold.

It was almost like some supernatural spectre had walked out of the underworld!

He refused to believe he was fighting a ghost!

He pulled back his fist and wrapped it in a raging coat of blue mana.

"Let's see if your ghost like moves will let you dodge this."

The fist coated in mana flew out, but just before he could hit Lucius, Lucius smiled eerily into the man's eyes.

"Boom!"

The fist landed on Lucius's head but the man instantly sensed a problem.

'Shit an after image'

It was at that exact moment the danger sense contained within his heroic blood seemed to go off, no it would be accurate to say it went off. It was fucking screaming!

Above him an explosion of crimson lightning could be seen as a sales fist came down from the heavens.

The man didn't dare play around any longer and desperately cried out

"Aegis!"

Suddenly a blinding white light blossomed in front of the man as an almost heavenly white and gold shield appeared in front of him.

The shield itself was a work of art, and pure beauty despite the image formed being quite blurry, those who looked at it couldn't help but be charmed

 Bang!

Unfortunately, Lucius could share the privilege of being charmed.

His fist fiercely collided with the beautiful shield.

Lucius's face instantly darkened as it contorted into an ugly grimace.

Lucius didn't let off a curse but he couldn't help but let off a light groan.

That shield was just too damn tough!

It felt as if he was hitting obsidian and when they collided the recoil was sent right back through his arm and the rest of his body

Lucius took a few steps back from the bully and shook his arm.

"Despite your unsightly character, it seemed like you really are descendants of the hero, huh?"

The fact he was of heroic lineage couldn't be denied.

He had done something only the descendants of heroes could do, summon the phantom of the original holy weapon used by their very ancestor!

Lucius had read about it in the story but it was his first time seeing it in real life.

Having his very bloodline insulted pissed the bully off to no end but Lucius didn't care.

All of a sudden there was a thunderous rumble behind him as the bully that had been first downed charged towards Lucius from behind, trying to slam him with the shield.

Fortunately, Lucius's senses were alert and he easily used wraith dodge out of the way.

Seeing that Lucius had managed to dodge the other bully scowled but deep down inside he had a cold sweat.

He just had a close call. Lucius had really knocked his ass out for a second there.

If it wasn't for the fact that his brother was there to back him up and the healing potions he kept on him at all times, Lucius would have finished him off cleanly.

The bully that just got up looked towards his brother and commented.

"Don't underestimate him Tyler. We should go all out."

"Don't worry Chris, I figured that out myself."

Lucius paused for a second to look at the two descendants of the shield hero in front of him, both of them had strange key similar features.

'Twins?' Thought Lucius

'2v1 and a descendant of a shield hero on top of that At least it'll be interesting.'

Lucius could feel the berserk dragon blood in his body bubbling.

Lucius didn't hesitate and his body shot forward.

The two brothers raised their shields to protect themselves.

But instead of the expected clash Lucius dashed right past them and arrived next to the helpless spectator.

Before the poor student could react, Lucius' hand reached out, snatching the sword at his waist.

"I'll be borrowing this for a second."

"Hey wait!"

But before the man could finish his sensitive Lucius had already disappeared.

He appeared on the sky above the two brothers, both swords fully drawn as a blue storm of mana surround each blade

[ Vortex ]

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Lucius's blades moved like the storm!

His ghost-like movements combined with the rapid speed of attacks made it feel like both of the brothers were being attacked in every direction.

However, The brothers were no slouch either. Despite being suppressed by Lucius, each one of them showed no expert level of shield fighting techniques and not just on a defensive level but even some surprisingly vicious attacking shield techniques.

It's just unfortunate for them, that the one in front of them was someone who trained his agility by dodging an endless storm of shadow bullets!

None of their attacks could land!
