He Only Married Me To Show Her That He Already Moved On

Chapter 52 - fifty-two: You will never understand

Gabriel's POV:

I pulled her closer to me and kissed her forehead when she finally fell asleep. I moved myself a bit to look at her sleeping face. I don't know the reason why she cried earlier, but that's one thing I don't want to see in her ever again, if that's being possible. I want to hold her and tell her things that will make her stop from crying.

I'm jealous. And now I admit I'm jealous, especially when she's talking with Greg. She's happy, she always smile and she even laugh. I'm jealous about those things he can do with her and I can't. I am her husband, but I can't make her happy and I don't even have to rights to feel this way.

I pushed some pf her hair strands behind her ears, that are now covering her face, and I smiled. I was right from the very start that she's perfect to act even to be my wife.

-'I hope you'll stay, Madi. I hope you'll stay with me. I can't exactly point what I feel for you right now, but I know you're now important to me. And believe it or not, I started to care about you. I can't even think of one day of coming home without you in this house, without seeing your beautiful face and your smile...

I wish I could tell these things to you. But I'm not brave enough to face you and these feeling. I hope you can wait for me... I hope you were still here when I become whole again. The time I am ready to give you myself without any looking back from the past behind me. If you're still here when that time comes, Madi.. I promise, I will be beside you in your every waking time in the morning, and before you go to sleep at night...

I will hold you tight, hold your hand, hug you and kiss you every hour and every day of my life. But for now, I can't promise you anything. I just want first to be a better man, for you. So when I face you by that time... I can proudly shout in front of everyone that I am yours and you are mine alone.

I know I am being jerk to you sometimes, but believe me.. this jerk of a man beside you is the first person who doesn't want to see you crying. All I want is to make you smile. I want you to be mine, Madi.. when everything is falling into there right place..'-

I smiled when she moved her face closer to my c.h.e.s.t. It feels natural and comfortable to hug her, like we've been doing this for a long time. Her skin is so soft and you can never see a single scar on her arm, or even a pimple mark on her face. She looks like an angel when she's sleeping, so peaceful and yet so beautiful.

It's already one in the morning when my sleep visited me.

I woke up feeling something heavy on my waist. I tried to move my body but then I heard a small m.o.a.n.

"Hmm..."

And when I traced the small arm over my stomach, the smile formed on my lips. She's here beside me, sleeping like a baby. She has a small pout on her lips and I wish I could always kiss that pout on her.

I hitched my breath when her knee moved up in between my legs... under my precious junior and jewels. I gulped and tried to move away but she snuggled more to me and pressed her knee on that precious part of mine.

-'Oh f.u.c.k!'-

"Hmm..."

My eyes widened when she m.o.a.n.e.d and my junior began to twitch. And I didn't try to move again, because the more I tried, the more she pressed her knee. I just hugged her and kissed her forehead.

And after thirty minutes of watching her sleeping, I already memorized how many moles she has on her face and where each one of them were placed.

"Good morning." I smiled at her when she looked up to me with her half-closed eyes.

"Good mor------" her eyes widened when she noticed her arm around me, but since she moved quickly she accidentally kneed my jewels.

"Ohh!" I balled myself in bed because of the sudden pain.

"Oh my God! I'm sorry!" she jolted up and tried to touch it but I held her hand.

"Don't!" I said through the surging pain.

"Oops! I'm sorry, Gab." she bite her lips and I closed my eyes so I can stop myself from thinking of something she wouldn't appreciate.

I sighed when I already can take the pain. When I looked at her, I found her blushing and how I wish to kiss her all over her face to take away that cute blush on her.

"It's okay, maybe I can still have one or two children in the future." she chuckled and her voice seemed music to my ears.

"How are you?" I asked when she already composed herself from laughing.

"I'm okay. Why did you ask?" she looked at me, confused.

"Because you cried last night."

"Ahh..." she said and looked down on her l.a.p. "I just missed my Mom and my siblings."

"You have siblings?"

"Yeah, one brother and one sister. Anyway, what time is it?" she asked and I noticed she just want to change the topic. But I didn't insist, maybe she doesn't want to talk about it.

I checked the time from her clock. "It's 8:15, why?"

"Uhm.. I'm hungry. I didn't eat much last night at the party, because of your bitchy ex!" she pouted and I laughed.

"I'm sorry about her. Anyway, what do you want for breakfast?"

She looked at me and raised her eyebrow. "Why.. you're gonna cook for me?"

"Uhm..y-yeah..I - I'll try.." I said scratching the back of my head.

"It's okay. Let me cook for this time, because for sure you're going to ask one of your maids to help you."

"Wow! You're so talented, how did you know about that?" I asked grinning.

"Of course! I am Madi!" and she confidently get up from bed.

"Huh? What do you mean by 'I'm Madi'? Well.. I am Gabriel too." she just laughed at me when I said I am Gabriel too.

"You don't understand. When I say 'I'm Madi', meaning... I am Madi, the ever beautiful... confident.. and strong Madi! Gets?" she confidently stand and posed in front of me, while saying those line.

I was left open-mouthed by that. This is the first time I saw her being that carefree in front of me.

"Tsk.Tsk.Tsk. You don't understand?" she asked me again and I looked at her. "Haist! Never mind! You will never understand, because you're right. You're Gabriel!" she throws her hands in the air before she walked towards the bathroom.

-'What?'- "What do you mean, I'll never understand because I'm Gabriel?" I tried to ask her but she already closed the bathroom door.

-'What does she mean by that?'-

Madi's POV:

-'You will never understand because you're Gabriel. The Gabriel who doesn't know about me, who doesn't know about my feelings.'-

He's already in the kitchen when I walked out of my room and he's preparing the batter for pancakes. I took it from him and started to cook our breakfast. It only took thirty minutes and were now sitting across each other.

"I'm gonna visit my Mom on Saturday." I said after taking a sip of my coffee.

"Hmm.. sure. Where is she? I'll make my schedules free for that day." he said, not looking at me.

"No, it's okay, you don't have to. She's in Florida and I'm planning to stay there for two day----" I looked at him when he dropped his utensils.

"You're going to Florida... for two days?" he asked me with disbelief written on his face.

"Yeah. That's my homeland, and I really missed my Mom."

"I'm going with you!" he seriously said.

"Gab, you don't need to----"

"I insist. I'm going with you and we're both gonna visit your family."

I bite my lips with the word... family.

"But how about your plans with Stacey?" I just asked instead.

"Don't worry about it. It's just for two days."

-'Yeah, just for two days.'-

"Okay. I'm going to book now two plane tickets."

"Don't bother yourself about that, we're going to use my jet." he's now finished with his food and I remember one thing I need to clarify with him regarding our visit with my Mom.

"Gab.. uhm.. I - I didn't tell my Mom that we're married. I don't want her to ask me some questions regarding this marriage thing and this deal."

I know my mom was always pushing me to get someone to love and to marry, but I'm sure she will not be happy when she knows about this deal. That I just got married because I love him, but he doesn't love me back.

"Ohh... " he looked at me and nodded.

"When we get there, can we just pretend.. uhm.. girlfriend or boyfriend? At least she wouldn't be surprised with it."

"Uhuh... okay. But, can we not even say that we're engaged?"

"Okay, let's say we're already engaged. But when she asks something about marriage or when are we going to get married.. just tell her maybe next year or when we finally settled everything."

"Okay. So, what time are we going to go?"

"Maybe 7:00 o'clock in the morning."

"That's fine."

I sighed and smiled at him. He takes my hand which is on top of the table and smiled at me.

"Don't worry so much about it. It will be okay." I didn't say anything, but I smiled again.

When friday afternoon came, he took again an early out from work. If last time, it was four o'clock in the afternoon, now it's one hour earlier than the last time. But of course, who am I to ask him.. so I just remained quiet and watched him walked inside the elevator.

"Why is 'your husband' is taking undertime again?" Sandy is now standing on her office door frame.

"You don't have to ask that question because the answer is really obvious."

I said and walked back towards my seat, but Sandy, being Sandy.... she followed me.

"Hmm.. well, for sure he's going to see his ex---- opps! wrong term! It's now 'mistress'. He's going to see his mistress!"

I glared at her. "Do you really have to mention that in front of me?"

"Oops! I'm sorry!" she covered her mouth while acting innocently. "I forgot that you're 'the wife'. You're Mrs. Wilsons." she really pointed her finger on me and laughed just to add my annoyance.

"Sandy Aguilar! You're really enjoying to irritate me!"

"Yeah, enjoying much.  I wished you'd seen your face." and she laughed even more.

If it's not a mortal sin to kill a friend and a workmate, I swear I'm gonna chop her in pieces and feed her to my neighbor's dog.

"Anyway, what if he doesn't go home until tomorrow, like the last time? What are you going to do... cancel your flight?" she asked me seriously and I sighed.

"No. I'm still going, with or without him."

"So, you better book a ticket now, just to be sure. We don't know what he's going to do this whole night... maybe f.u.c.k.i.n.g his ex again."

"God, Sandy! Your mouth is such a filthy like his ex's mouth!"

She chuckled at me. "Oh, Madielyn Davis----I mean, Wilsons.. don't you ever compare me to that s.l.u.t! duh! She's just a dirt compare to me! Tss!"  she rolled her eyes on me as we both laughed together.

Well, at least this time she's right.
