Harry The Harem Lord-1

Chapter 15 - New Hidden Mission: Magic Resistance!

Harry was sitting near the lake outside his house, waiting for someone from the school to come, and protecting him during his shopping of school stuff, which of course he didn't need, but they didn't know that, and Harry wanted to be a low key, so he accepted protection.

The second letter from Minerva said someone would arrive in the morning, but not the specific time.

Harry was hoping for Minerva herself, so they could spend some private time together. But his logic was refusing it outright, saying it was someone else.

He had a hunch that his next plan would start soon.

While he was waiting, he thought about things that had happened in the past few days. As he expected, they had to release Sirius in just two days. But, what was more surprising was Sirius himself! He wasn't braindead even though he lived in a prison filled with Dementor!

They say that they don't need walls or water around the prison, not when they're trapped inside their own heads, incapable of a single cheerful thought. Most go mad within weeks. Dementors will make sure they become braindead!

Dementors are among the foulest creatures that walk this earth. In some times, Dementor will feed on you long enough to reduce you to something like itself... soulless and evil.

But, Sirius was well and good, a little high with anger, though.

This shocked everyone, and when asked the question, he said, "I was going to break out sooner or later, as I was innocent and the traitor was out, free."

This shocked even Harry, as Sirius wasn't supposed to know that Peter was alive, until his third year.

Harry knew there were many changes that happened, even including Voldemort's Horcruxes, so considering that it was a small matter.

But others weren't as calm as Harry, because that arose the question of why the innocent was sent to prison? What happened to the law system?

The minister came forward and apologized for that, and he started looking at this case once again. Every day he would come and just talk in circles about cases to confuse people. The minister was clearly hoping to bury these things, but Harry was not going to let it be. Harry was manipulating from behind the scenes and keeping this topic hot and refreshed in everyone's mind.

Harry was also waiting for Sirius to come and meet him, and if possible, invite him to his house, where was possibly one Horcrux with house-elf!

Harry waited for the person to arrive, and only at 8 o'clock that person came, but his entry was epic!

The flying motorbike was moving at a high speed, coming from London, and toward the next village, as Harry's home was somewhere between those two, that all family and friends knew, but not the exact location!

Harry noticed it was a man with a better body than the average man. In a sense of size, of course. Harry could tell he was coming for him, but, like everyone else, that man didn't know the proper address either.

That person was about to leave behind Harry's territory, so Harry opened the portion of security to let him inside.

Like others, Harry thought he would press the break and stop the bike, but maybe he didn't notice the change, or maybe he just couldn't control that extremely fast bike, but one way or another, the speed didn't reduce!

The bike crashed with a deep sound. What was more, he crashed near one of his labs, which was protected, and would attack those who came near the place.

Harry was stupified and stood on his spot!

He ran toward the place to stop the calamity, if not, the rain of spells would fall on that man!

Harry got a second shock of the day as he watched four to five spells fall on that man, but the spells were ineffective!

At the same time, notification rang in Harry's mind.

<<Spell resistance detected. The host witnessed the Spell resistance. The conditions met for the hidden mission.>>

New Hidden Mission:

Magic resistance: Many creatures and races are resistant toward some spells, but total magic resistance isn't found until now when you achieve it!

Part 1: Get the essence blood of, living Half-Giant.

Reward 1: Method to create a potion, which can resist 33% of magic!

Note: The potion will change the body inside-out, which will be painful.

Part 2: Get the Bone marrow of Besielisk who died within just 2 hours.

Reward 2: Method to change the Bone Merrow of Host, which will give a resistance of an extra 33% of magic!

Part 3: Get the shed-ed skin of nine different Dragons!

Reward 3: Change of Host's skin! Which will allow another 33% of magic resistance!

Extra reward: Spell Resistance! All the Jinxes and Hexes are ineffective against the host!

Note 1: Magic resistance is different from the Spell resistance! Spell resistance allows one to block some spells, while Magic resistance will reduce the magic itself! For example, if the host has a 50% magic resistance, and he was attacked with a spell of 5000 magical power, then, on a direct hit, the host will only feel the power of 2500 magical power!

Note 2: Getting 100% magic resistance without changing the host's body is impossible. If carried on forcefully for 100%, some unknown mutation might happen!

Note 3: Three unforgivable curses will reduce to only 1% after all three parts, which will have minor effects left. Some of the other, unknown curses might have the same effect too. (Only 1% effective!)

Note 4: All the parts must be done in a given sequence, or there might be a fatal danger to host!

Note 5: It can be on/off. Also, it allows beneficial spells!

Harry was stupified from the mission! Such a godly ability!

Harry knew about spell resistance, just like the man was doing it, but never heard of total magic resistance!

He wanted to celebrate, but it wasn't the time now, as more spells were on the way, if not stopped.

Harry hurriedly stopped the mechanism and pulled the half-giant man out of crashed land with a levitation spell.

Harry knew his name, Hagrid.

Hagrid was in a daze, so Harry had to call him a few times.

"Harvey's beard! That was one crazy ride, I tell you." Hagrid looked around and saw Harry looking at him with worry." Ahem, Hello, I haven't introduced myself. Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of the Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts!"

He held out an enormous hand and shook Harry's whole arm. It was fine with Harry, but if it was anyone else, they definitely would have left with a dislocated shoulder and arm.

Harry reckons it wasn't his intention, but he was merely excited to meet him and forgot about his strength. Harry let it pass and was about to ask him, and Hagrid thought that too, so he changed the subject first, before letting Harry ask an embarrassing question.

Hagrid knew it was his fault to ride a bike recklessly, even if it was after ten years. Right, it was an entire ten years! The last time he used it was when he brought baby Harry to his Aunt's place. And after that, he never used it, thinking the bike belongs to the bloody murderer —Sirius Black! he only took it out when the news came of Sirius' innocence. Precisely because of that, he wasn't used to the speedy bike, hence the incident.

"Alright, you must be waiting for a long time. Let's get going! I too have some official business to do. Ahem. Never mind that. I will let the bike here, and we will go by a good old-fashioned muggle way." Hagrid suggested it and started walking.

"Wait a minute! Also, you are going in the wrong direction!" Harry had to sprint to catch up to him, as Hagrid's one step was equal to Harry's three to four steps!

Harry was more than happy to use Muggle transport, as he was in a good mood. The good was because Hagrid had a slip of tongue and blurred out "official business", and Harry knew exactly what he meant, so his next plan was already half successful!

Harry and Hagrid then walked toward the highway. The scene of a 12-foot long man and a 4-foot child was comical but harmonious.

Soon, both of them became good friends —even with many differences in them — while walking and talking.
