Going Through The World Of Danmachi With A Summoner System

Before we go into the dungeon I tell Bell and Lili there are a few things a need to do. One of the things I need to do is putting on some heavy armor I made myself, the others being to ask what happened while I was gone. Bell answers me and tells me everything that happened, from the grimoire he accidentally read to the losing of his special knife from his goddess. I look over at Lili while he's explaining and figure out she pretty knows already. I sneak off to the side to put on my armor, and am met with one of the exploiting adventurers, who made me the same deal as they did in the anime. I flip him off and say "Why would I betray my party? Now leave, you sorry excuse for an adventurer, before I make you leave." His face reddens, but he doesn't make a move, seeing I'm clearly stronger than him. He leaves, but not before sending a murderous glance at everyone in our party.

I finish putting on my heavy armor and make my way back to Bell, who was standing by the fountain, and I see LIli being harassed and go to help her.

"Excuse me, but what do you think you are doing to her?" I ask.

They all look at me and then at each other. They say nothing, take the bag they stole and try to leave, but before they can, I step in front of them. "Now will you please give my friend back her bag?" I say with a menacing glare and creepy smile. I can see them visibly shiver and slowly back up and hesitantly give Lili back her bag. She looks genuinely surprised, and actually thanks me. I tell her it's no problem and everything after that goes according to the anime.

7th floor

I finish killing a killer ant and look over at bell and throw a dagger so Lili doesn't expose herself by using her magic weapon. I am then surrounded by a dozen ants. I swing my broadsword in a circle and kill a half dozen of them, while Bell kills the rest. I clap my hands and call for a break. Bell is relieved and sits himself between me and Lili. He actually tries to interact with me, asking questions about my magic and personal life. I answer as honestly as I can, since even I don't know everything about my magic. Lili is listening closely and I can swear I saw her face pale a little when she learned I have summoning magic.

The next floor I am surrounded by a horde, like in the anime, but I simply summon steve, which was the new name I had for the diamond Golem, and he smashes them to a pulp instantly. Bell and Lili are both shocked when he appears and disappears in the span of a few seconds. I reassure them and we move on to the ninth and tenth floor. We make it to the twelve floor before Lili steals Bell's knife and runs. I summon steve to help bell with the dozen orcs that appeared almost out of nowhere and run after Lili.

She just makes it to the floor with the adventurers, when I punch the guy who I met this morning in the face and pull her up. The other three adventurers bring the heads and I throw daggers and finish the heads off. They are very much surprised and run. I simply let them, knowing they won't ever come back.

The same scene that happens when Bell saves Lili happens to me and I respond, "Because, you're my friend and my party member and I will never let you disappear, or come to harm willingly." She cries into my shirt, and surprisingly she declares she loves me. I am bewildered because this didn't happen before in the anime. I am confused and decide to accept her feelings. Bell comes back up on top of Steve's shoulder and he jumps down and joins us in our group hug.

However, not that I knew at the time, Ais has reported my summoning magic to the guild, and whether we liked it or not, things were going to get more complicated for all of us...
