Forsaken By Love

Lu Nanfeng felt her soft body attaching itself to his sturdy c.h.e.s.t, he felt her arms wrapping around his neck, and her soft lips on his cheek. He even felt the tantalizing scent of her body wafting into his nose, and his body began reacting. 

He Lixue, who was seated on his l.a.p, could feel the changes in his body. She was again reminded of their acts that night, her face flushing slightly, and her eyes were lowering. The appearance was not helping Lu Nanfeng cool down.

Seeing the two of them so close and so in love, Lin Xulian felt as if someone had taken a knife and began twisting it in her heart. She was so jealous that it took all her willpower not to rush over and separate the two of them.

Even Di Zhiqing, Lu Nanfeng's mother, was full of anger. Her teeth were gritting against each other, and her eyes were turning bloodshot. 

She had decided to bring Lin Xulian to the company because she knew that he could not hide from her there, but who would have thought that he would actually call that little hoof up and then be intimate with her right in front of their faces? This was a slap directly to her face, and she was furious!

He Lixue completely forgot all about the two big third wheels, all she could think about was Lu Nanfeng, and she blushed adoringly.

"How dare you!" Di Zhiqing had lost all her reasoning due to anger. "You little s.l.u.t, daring to seduce my son?! Do you think that you can marry into our Lu family just because you have a pretty face? I will tell you now, Nanfeng will never marry you home, so give up already!"

The more she spoke, the darker Lu Nanfeng's expression became while Lin Xulian was getting excited. 

"Mother ,and I still call you that because you were the one who gave birth to me, but Mother, I am a grown man, and I am the one who is getting married.

"You already made your stance clear, and I respect you enough to not interfere with you and Miss Lin's private lives, but do not think that I will be so generous as to forgive her for betraying me.

"The moment she decided to be with another man while being my girlfriend, all the feelings I had for her vanished. 

"I really tried to be with her for your sake, but she let me down, and let you down. 

"Now I found someone I truly love, someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. 

"You, as my mother, should support me, but instead, you are cursing me, wanting me to be with someone who betrayed me before.

"Mother, are you really my biological mother?"

Di Zhiqing was shocked when she heard Lu Nanfeng's words; her eyes widened in disbelief. 

"Xulian never expected to become unfaithful. She was drunk and made a mistake. She never wanted to be unfaithful to you; mistakes happen all the time, don't blame her. You grew up by her side and you know that she loves you more than anyone else in the entire world. How can you just leave her for such a little hoof with nothing? 

"Xulian is the only child of the Lin family, marrying her means that the Lin family will become yours in the future, but what will you get from marrying this Miss He? She cannot help your business; she is useless in every way apart from her pretty face!"

"Ma'am, I understand that you do not like me." He Lixue squinted her eyes as she leaned against Lu Nanfeng's c.h.e.s.t. "But just because you do not like me, you do not have to lie or belittle me. 

"I developed the current security system that the Fenghuang Group is using, and while I might not be able to give him a company like the Lin family's, I will be able to help him improve the IT departments of the company tremendously. 

"Indeed, I am not giving him a company that already exists, but I, as a person, can still be of great help to Brother Nanfeng.

"Not to mention, Brother Nanfeng clearly likes me as a person. You should know your son well enough to know that he is a careful person, and that he is not impulsive. 

"For him to be with me, he has already grasped my personality, and knowsknow that I would never harm him. Everyone knows that I am poor, but that was only because I just woke up from a coma. While I might not be a millionaire now, I cannot be considered poor either. Also, is the Lu family really so weak that it needs to depend on marriage to improve its position in the country?"

Hearing He Lixue and Lu Nanfeng speaking like this, Di Zhiqing was furious. Not only was her son talking back at her, but another person was also talking back at her, and she felt as if she was losing face.

By the side, Lin Xulian was also feeling horrible. She thought that Lu Nanfeng would listen to his mother, but now she realized that while Lu Nanfeng was usually very filial, he had no intention of letting her decide his marriage. 

Lu Nanfeng tightened his arms around He Lixue's waist and pressed her against his c.h.e.s.t. He wanted to give her strength, as he could not believe how uncomfortable He Lixue had to be after hearing his mother scold her like that. His eyes were cold as he looked at the two of them.
