Forsaken By Love

After spending some time cuddling, Lu Nanfeng took He Lixue's hand and led her down the stairs towards the dining room where they could eat. 

"For the next couple of days, stay by my side," Lu Nanfeng said, and He Lixue nodded her head. She was tired of being confined to the mansion, but she also knew that it was impossible to leave on her own.

If she were with Lu Nanfeng, she would be safe. 

She did not know why, but she had a deeply ingrained feeling of security whenever she was close to Lu Nanfeng; she trusted him wholeheartedly, and her heart belonged to him with no room for anyone else.

Lu Nanfeng could feel her boundless trust in him, and while he was very pleased, he also felt that he could truly not let her down. She had given everything of hers to him, even herself. He could not disappoint her.

Not to mention, the more time he spent with her, the more he liked her. Thinking back, he had liked her ever since he first saw her.

Although he had joked about giving himself to her the first time he saw her, he now realized that it was not just a joke. From the first time he saw her, she was very special to him, and he could not help but want to get closer and closer.

His love for He Lixue was strange. It was contradicting. On one side, he enjoyed the slow love, the relaxation, and p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e he felt from being close to her, so calm and peaceful. But the love he felt for her was not only calm and peaceful. She had the ability to make him feel a fiery blaze in his heart and out of control. 

He had never before experienced such feelings where he could not control himself, but last night he had truly succ.u.mbed to his feelings and was unable to hold back.

Fortunately, He Lixue had not rejected him because of him being slightly forceful. 

A smile flitted across his lips as he looked at He Lixue. Now that they had been intimate for a whole night, he could not help but waít for the following night where he could push her down again. 

Her soft voice when she was letting out m.o.a.ns was so alluring to him that just thinking about them made it hard for him not to push her down right then and there.

"Are you going to let me work at the IT Security Department today, or am I to stay within your sight at any moment?" He Lixue was unaware of the thoughts that were running through Lu Nanfeng's mind, and she asked slightly hesitatingly.

She did not think that the Organization would enter the Fenghuang Group's main office. That was not their style, it would have been too brazen. 

Lu Nanfeng squinted as he looked at He Lixue. "You can go to the IT Security Department, but during the lunch break, you are to come to my office, and after work, you'll come to my office again so that we can go back home together."

Hearing that she was allowed to work, a beautiful smile appeared on He Lixue's lips, and her eyes turned into crescent moons.

Her appearance was fresh and innocent; she was as beautiful as a painting, and Lu Nanfeng found himself entrapped in her beauty. 

When he finally got back to his senses, he could not help but smile wryly. This woman had the ability to make him lose control completely; even his thoughts were no longer his own!

He Lixue did not notice his strange actions, she was busy checking her phone, and it was not before she lifted her head that she saw the helpless smile on his face as he observed her.

"Let's go," he said as he reached out, grasped her hand in his, and moved towards the car garage. He Lixue smiled sweetly as she followed him. He was truly special and able to make her heart beat rapidly. He was her haven.

The car left the mansion, and when they were on the road towards Fenghuang Group's headquarters, the driver was frowning while looking into the rearview mirror. 

"What's wrong?" Lu Nanfeng could see his ugly expression, and could not help but ask, but the driver shook his head. "I think we are being followed. Young Master, do you wish for me to try and get rid of them?" 

Lu Nanfeng looked at He Lixue, who was staring out the window and shook his head. "No need. I know who they are, and they cannot act against us in our own country. They already know where we are going, so letting them follow means nothing."

Uncle Li, the driver, was surprised when he heard Lu Nanfeng's words, but he did not question him, he just nodded his head and continued focusing on the road, only once in a while checking the trailing car in the rearview mirror.

He Lixue's brow was furrowed, and she was observing her surroundings, but she saw no traces of the Organization apart from the trailing car. What was their aim with being so obvious? 

When they arrived at the company, He Lixue and Lu Nanfeng left the car and entered through the front gates instead of through the underground parking lot. Everyone who saw Lu Nanfeng greeted him respectfully, and those who did not know He Lixue sent her curious glances.

As they entered the elevator, the receptionist took out her phone and discreetly sent out a message. After another ten minutes, a reply arrived, and she smiled slightly, her eyes flashing with a bit of ruthlessness.
