Fight Back, Young Miss Wang!

"S..She's crazy! I didn't do all those things She's accusing me of! You have to believe me!"

Face red like those of cherry tomatoes with beads of sweat forming on her brow. The nurse pleaded her case with the doctor.

Casting a sidelong gaze to her, nothing changed in the facial expression of Kang Yu when he listened to his colleague refuting the claims of his patient.

"Misses, you can't go slandering people! This is an hospital where sick people like you gets taken care of by dedicated professionals! If you keep berating them just as what you just did to Nurse Kim, then you will not get anyone that would willingly want to care for you! I admit you may not like your nurse, which is fine, but verbally abusive to your caregiver would not be tolerated regardless of whose was at fault. Have I made myself clear enough?!"

A look of adoration appeared on the face of the nurse, it was as though she was looking at her knight in shining armor.

"Dr. Kang is so cool! He even put that psycho in her place! May be she is really one in real life! Come to think of it, how did she know that I was into Dr. Kang?! Is she some sort of mind reader?!"

Wang Rong saw the name tag on the nurse's uniform that was how she was able to call her name, but the other puzzle that didn't match which the nurse was also baffled about was how she knew her innermost thoughts regarding the doctor.

Seeing that neither of them had made a move to leave her room, this set Wang Rong into a screaming rage.

"Nurse Kim! I want you to please leave the patient's room at once!"

In a bid to bring down the situation that was about to get out of control, Kang Yu was now forced to chase his colleague out of Wang Rong's room.

He then took the patient's hand in one of his, patting the back of her hand, this was the ther.a.p.eutic "calming" touch that nurses or even in rare cases was used by doctors to bring a sense of comfort and reassurance to a patient in distress.

Kang Yu by so doing, unknowingly revealed his thoughts to the woman behind the bandages. Although, he could not fully see her face because they were completely covered, the intense look from her eyes made him very much aware of her as a woman.

"You've never had a girlfriend and show little to no interest in settling down, but your family keeps sending you pictures of ladies you haven't even met before, you don't know how to perform in bed! At this rate, Dr. Kang. You would most likely die a monk! Or is that thing between your legs not working right?"

If the ground could open, Kang Yu was sure he would have jumped right in after hearing the insult laced words of Wang Rong.
