Fated Book 2 : The Crown Prince's Golden Consort

"the little princess is now asleep why don't I carry her back to the nursery your highness" the wet nurse said from Lu Xiaolian's right hand side.

"No need to trouble yourself I will take care of the little princess, you have been awake since last night why don't you take a nap" she replied pulling the little princess's blanket up.

"it's a great honor to care for the little princess, your highness time is precious" the wet nurse said with a smile, Imperial consort Lu has been very caring to the little princess since her birth she even converted the room closest to hers to a nursery.

"It no trouble at all why don't you take a nap and I will have Bie liu watch the little princess when I get tired" Lu Xiaolian replied facing the wet nurse.

"this little one will now take her leave"she said and walked out of the room. She never doubted that Imperial consort Lu would go back on her words, she didn't need a clairvoyant to talk her otherwise anyone could see that the imperial Consort really cared for the little princess.

"most people fail to understand that to love someone you have to love their child even when you aren't related by blood" she accepted the cup from Bie liu.

"If not the crown princess consort then third madam Shen" Bie liu said shocked.

"Exactly and good move on her part even I wouldn't have suspected her if it wasn't for her actions yesterday, I doubt much numbers of people has suspected her involvement in this" she placed the emptied cup net to the jug of heated water.

Yao Yao walked into the room and after making her greetings said "the imperial physician has confessed to being blackmailed by madam Jang to fake her pregnancy, it's was discovered that Madam Jang had lost the baby four months ago and provide the poison to kill madam Yang"

"Oh and the midwife ?She asked with a slight smile.

"Evidence has been provided of madam Jang ordering them to kill second madam Yang" She continued.

"That quick almost like it was planned, Jang Suyin is truly done with no way out, well played Shen Piezhi" Lu Xiaolian replied.

"Madam Jang was sentenced to be beheaded bit the Emperor took pity and banished her to a nunnery to pray for the kingdom, while the crown princess was put under house arrest and her seal taken" she said.

"Jang Suyin is now in a faith worse than death the Jang family has really received a heavy blow, what better way to subdue them without much bloodshed than this"she chuckled softly "and the other thing? she asked still smiling.

"you were right your highness everything was set by third madam Shen" Yao Yao said.

"As expected of a snail coming out of her shell, have someone watch her every move Shen Piezhi isn't easy" Lu Xiaolian replied

"and the Empress should madam Shen's involvement be disclosed to her ? Bie liu asked after staying silent for a while.

"What made you think she wasn't already aware, the Empress hasn't kept her position long enough because she was pretty, if am not long the Empress like me wants to borrow third Madam's hands to handle everything. I really wish to know how far she can get" Lu Xiaolian said smiling.

Jang Suyin's rooms

"Madam Jang is her to see you miss" the maid said, just then Madam Shen walked into the room followed by some maids.

"Jei jei, I heard that you would be leaving soon, I came to see you off properly" Madam Shen said smiling smugly.

"Are you here to mock me, Shen Piezhi Don't worry you will get what you deserve" Jang Suyin said grabbing hold of Madam Shen wrist with force while chucking a small pin into her palm.

"Ah how dare you" Shen Piezhi shouted giving her a heavy slap. "You only have yourself to blame for all this, I just wanted to send you off properly by giving you a small piece of mind" She continued coming closer to Jang Suyin and whispering into her ears in a low tune only audible to her "I killed your baby just like you killed mine"

"no it can't be the baby was unstable and couldn't stay" Jang Suyin said crying.

Shen Piezhi grabbed hold of her hair and pulling her head up whispered into her ears "No it wasn't I ordered your personal maid to add aborticide to your bath and in your featus stabilizing tea. you killed my child in my w.o.m.b so I didn't even let yours form" she began laughing softly and walking out of the room.

"Shen Piezhi we will see if you will live long enough to enjoy this" Jang Suyin whispered softly while smiling brightly. Her father had ordered her to kill herself with a fast acting poison but she decided to make it more potent and slow acting and gift it to Shen Piezhi as payment for pulling her Jang family down, why should she die alone when she can pull Shen Piezhi down with her. She quickly un c.o.c.ked the poison and drank it fall into Oblivion. The servants walked in to escort her out of the room only to find her death.

The crown Prince's Manor was still recovering from the events of the month before when they received news that the crown Prince was attacked on his way back to the capital and has not be found yet.
