Executor Of Justice

Chapter 24 - Drastic Death

As rumors of anomaly magical powers began spreading widely among top officials, some groups decided to take advantage of the situation. One group in particular was the Diamond Clone Crest, consisting of mostly middle-aged men, they were particularly known for their high-quality replica products in the business world. Meeting difficulties of expanding to other zones, they decided it was time to use brute force to gain a monopoly.

"I've managed to get in contact with all the powerful magicians. They are willing to help us if we share the profit."

"Are they mad? There is no need for us big companies to lower ourselves to a few madmen."

"If things were that simple we wouldn't have resolved in using such underhanded methods."

"I say it's fine, I'm positive the profit we will be able to make it worth it."

"But but what about the Security Bureau?"

"Huh even if they have advanced laser guns, they are no match in front of magics."

" I concur, we should move swiftly while the opportunity arises."

"Well then tell them to commence our plan."

...

As the monster invasion mainly composed of goblins and orcs began seeing its common occurrence in the North America Continent, an emergency military meeting was in order between two major nations of the Phoenix Republic, Amos, and Gotim. A round premium metal circular table was being used for the meeting by several military generals and commanders from both factions.

Representing the Amos Nation was General Owan while General Anikler represented the Gotim Nation. They were both around the age of 30 and had quite the muscular build fit for a warrior. It was said that they were both close friends and excel in swordsmanship.

"General Owan, a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to see you."

"A p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to see you as well General Anikler."

"Now let's get down to business. Captain Zara, please brief us."

"Yes sir."

Captain Zara of the Gotim Nation proceeded to turn on a hologram projector of the visual map along with complete statistics of the battles. She began pointing out to a certain location which appears to be the source of the monsters.

"As you can see right here, the first wave of monsters appeared from this forest despite no previous appearance. It was then followed by a more monster appearance in another forest nearby. We aren't sure how this is linked, but our scientist suggests that a hidden tunnel might exist."

"Do we have any possible clue about where it is?"

In response to the question given, Zara shook her head, moving her beautiful shoulder-length hair, causing some of the young accomplished male commanders to blush.

"However, we have a report from a civilian that spotted large titanic monsters appearing from this cave right here," said Zara as she gestured to move her instructor stick.

"The Unknown Hell Cave ?" said one of the male commanders in surprise.

"Do you happen to know this plane, Colonel Bron?"

"Yes sir in fact I've assigned a defensive perimeter near the area due to its landscape but I never thought there to be monsters inside the cave."

"Colonel I will ha-"

"That isn't the Colonel's fault, General. The civilian reported the sighting kilometers deep beneath the cave."

"Deep beneath? How did one even get there?"

"He claims to be one of the blessed magic wielders. We've confirmed this fact and he is currently protected inside one of our special facility"

"In that case..."

In the Africa Continent, it was both hot and dry, news of the appearance of the monster forced the militia guards to increase its defenses. Patrolling a magnificent luxury airbase, two male ground soldiers were patrolling along the tall metal walls.

"Hey, have you heard the news?"

"Yeah men, I can't wait to shoot down some monsters."

"I heard their skin is so thick our bullets will have a hard time penetrating though."

"That's probably just some baseless rumor."

"You're right, our Zynga Kingdom is powerful after all."

People from the inner core zones might think that these soldiers are too arrogant, but boasting the second-highest military index score in the Africa region is no small feat. Its military force was large and heavily armed to the tooth. This was primarily because most kingdoms and nations in Africa were relatively small compared to the Zynga Kingdom.

Fwshhh Doom ! Fwshhh Dooom !

"What was that?" cried one of the guards in fear. Despite being nicely armed, he was new to the army thus weak and inexperienced in battle missions.

"Don't worry it's probably just a vehicle crash, let's check it out."

"Uh, shouldn't we report it over comms?"

"Pfttt, you're being too paranoid Wintar."

"Fine, I'll follow your lead, Nickson."

As the two guards left their post to approach the "crash" site, they were blending in with the environment with their modern desert camo military uniform. This makes it hard for their ally to see their presence at all. Both of them were carrying a refurbished AK-47. Most weak developing nations opt for the usage of refurbished equipment as it was much affordable with their budget.

As the two reached the crash site, a sandstorm began gushing out on the air, blinding their vision.

"Ah put your gear on.". instructed Nickson to Winter as the two equipped what appears to be a full covered highly modern helmets.

"Thank goodness the General passed regulations for these helmets over here."

"Yeah, those guys are mad for rejecting such proposals."

Although the government systems around the world have been nearly perfected it doesn't mean that corruption was wiped out. There were still certain key figures only caring about personal gains instead of their country.

Kriek swshhhh !

The sandstorm suddenly changed direction and the two guards could see two large figures rising up from the ground. They were approaching them slowly but the sound of the giants stomping and marching on the ground paralyzed the two guards with fear. As the two were too stiff to move their muscle, the earth golem raised its huge arms high and smashed the two guards, killing them instantly. The gushing sound of organs splitting apart could be heard as blood leaked everywhere.

This loud noise alerted the other patrol team stationed nearby.

{Platoon Leader to Alpha-3, did you hear that sound?}

{Alpha-3, do you copy?}

"D*mn b*st*rds aren't responding at this time," said Lieutenant Nikolai in fury. Throughout his career, he had known the boys from Alpha-3 as annoying little kids, they were the worst and barely failed standards. If it wasn't for the fact that the army was needing personnel, he was sure he would've made them lose their job.

{Alpha-2, go check them out. }

{Wilco Leader}

Four men dressed in the same military uniform as the missing two guards headed out to Alpha-3's post location and went to look out for them. Upon finding no presence of anyone, they reported back.

{Alpha-2 reporting, no members of Alpha-3 spotted here. }

{What? They aren't playing around, aren't they? }

{While they can be childish, I'm sure they know these are serious times. }

{Sound the alarm. }

Ckngttt cknggt!

[Defcon 3 is in effect. Two soldiers have gone missing inside. All personnel are to patrol the base and search for any suspicious individuals]

Grkt grkt grkt grkt grkt

The stomping sound of soldiers moving out in a hurry could be heard everywhere inside the base as they cleared all zones.

One of the soldiers patrolling A-3 post found a reflective silver necklace on the ground that caught his attention. He picked it up and found a written name "Winter". Recognizing that it was an accessory belonging to his friend, he proceeds to report his findings to his squad leader.

{Sir, I found a necklace belonging to Private Winter}

{I'll be right there, hold on}

In a minute, eight soldiers were approaching the soldier in possession of the necklace. Out of the eight, there were 3 important figures.

Captain Bantal, his company officer

Lieutenant Nikolai, his platoon leader

Sergeant Colok, his squad leader

The soldier proceeds to give a salute to the two officers which they responded with a nod.

"Where did you find it?" (LT Nikolai)

"On the small gate's control panel." (PVT Cooper)

"Don't tell me they went out." (CPT Bantal)

"Now that I think about it, they probably responded to the loud crashing noise outside."(SGT Colok)

"Sergeant Colok, I want you and your men to head outside and to the small gate's direction. Move with extreme caution, return if you think it's dangerous. " (CPT Bantal)

"Yes sir. Let's move it, boys." (SGT Colok)

On the sideroads to the Shrill Kingdom, 30 bandits were lying down on the ground with their power exhausted and the other dead. They had been battling against their opponent for about an hour yet their enemy didn't show any sign of weakness.

"Ah you must be questioning how we aren't tired at all right?" asked one of the crusaders clad in iron armor.

"What kind of monster are you? Only those who sell their souls to the demon are able to possess such power."

"Poor young man, you have been blinded from the truth. I'm afraid I can't save your body, forgive me." said the crusader as he cut off his head and separated it from his body.

The outcome of the battle was a complete victory for the exiled crusaders. They were no match for them, especially the former Paladins who were on the realm of a Planet and tiers above their strongest leader. News of this battle would eventually reach the ears of the Demon Force Intelligence Group.
