Chapter 5: The Very Adored Fu Xing’er

A surprised voice came from above. “Dear, my daughter is awake! She’s awake! Look, she’s looking at me. She’s looking at me.”

Second Fu slapped his thigh a few times in excitement.

The first person whom his daughter saw when she woke up was him!

His tone was filled with pride.

“Let me see.”

Mdm Fu moved over to take a look.

“Let me see, too.” Old Mrs Fu quickly came over to take a look as well.

One by one, they surrounded her and stared at her without moving, afraid that they would miss a second of looking at her.

“Daughter, I’m your father.” Second Fu’s voice was as light and soft as a feather.

“Daughter, I’m your mother.” Mdm Fu’s motherly love shone out of her eyes. Her gaze was as gentle as a stream.

She looked cute when she was asleep just now, but now that she was awake, she was even more adorable.

“Sweetie, I’m your grandma.” Old Mrs Fu was so excited that her voice was trembling. “You’re so good-looking. I’m afraid our doorstep will be trampled on in the future by your suitors.

Look at those big sparkling eyes! And those two little dimples that could charm a crowd… She’s like a goddess from heaven.”

Old Mrs Fu loved her very much.

She had never seen a more adorable child.

The only flower amongst the thorns in the Fu family, and the most beautiful and eye-catching of all.

“Yes, Mother, my daughter is indeed a goddess who descended from heaven.”

Second Fu couldn’t agree more.

“Of course. Our girl is the most beautiful.”

The mother and son were extraordinarily confident.

Mdm Fu found it so amusing that she almost peed her pants laughing.

Must both mother and son be so exaggerated?

She looked down at her daughter and smiled widely.

Fu Xing’er looked at the unfamiliar faces in front of her. Each face showed no malice, and was instead filled with an expression of overwhelming love.

All their facial features reflected joy.

Fu Xing’er was stunned.

Wait, where is this place?!

She opened her mouth, but she couldn’t say a word. All she managed was a few sounds.

She tried to move and discovered her little arms and legs.

Second Fu had a question at the back of his mind: Which one of them was older in age?

Mdm Fu was caught between laughter and tears.

This pair of mother and son was too childish.

Fu Xing’er’s head ached from the noise and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

There must be something wrong with these two people.

How could they tell that she was calling for them? Even she could not make out what she was humming.

It even made them so happy.

A series of unfamiliar memories surged into her mind.

The first message: She had transmigrated and become a baby.

The second message: This family has had sons for generations. She was the only girl.

Without a doubt, she would definitely be extremely adored and loved in this family.

That must be it.

She was indeed his little precious darling.

It was a normal expression, but coming from his daughter, it was a cause for celebration.

She really smiled!

“It’s normal for a child to smile. Don’t scare our daughter with your exaggerated reactions.” Mdm Fu asked him to get a hold of himself.

“That’s not the same. My daughter looks the most beautiful when she smiles.”

“Yes, my Sweetie’s smile is so charming.”

A dimple appeared on each side of her cheeks. Her big eyes sparkled like gems.

This pair of mother and son were on the same page when it came to praising Fu Xing’er.

“Daughter, give me another smile.”

Fu Xing’er yawned. Her eyelids were heavy.

Just one smile from her, and it made them so happy.

This family was really easy to please.

Fine. I’ll smile again.

“Mother, look at how smart my daughter is. She understands what I’m saying.” Second Fu was excited again.

His daughter was too smart.

She was unlike both Daxing and Erxing. When the two boys were just born, they were as unresponsive as wooden blocks. They were not adorable at all.

His daughter was still the best. As expected of his little darling.

“Sweetie! Grandma’s little sweetheart! Tsk, tsk, tsk. I’m laughing so hard that my heart is pounding. It’s throbbing with love.” Old Mrs Fu grinned so hard that she almost couldn’t close her jaw.

Mdm Fu burst out laughing.

Fu Xing’er smiled so hard that her face was almost cramping.

Did this family have to be so exaggerated?

She could vaguely foresee her future days of being adored.

She was so sleepy.

Her eyelids were so heavy.

She tried her best to keep her eyes open, but she could not resist the sleepiness and fell back asleep again.

“Daughter, wake up. Show daddy another smile. Just one more will do.”

Seeing his daughter smile made his heart sing with happiness.

He wished he could wake her up and make her play with him for a while longer.

“Go away, go away. Daughter is sleepy and needs to sleep.” Mdm Fu told him to not get in the way as she placed the child gently onto the bed.

Now that she had a precious daughter, she would prioritize her over her husband.

Second Fu refused to leave and just sat at the spot, watching his daughter.

Mdm Fu had no intention of leaving either. The mother and son were staring at her newborn like guardians.

“Mother, your health is only just getting better. Why don’t you go back to your room and rest?”

Mdm Fu shot her husband a meaningful look. However, Second Fu’s entire attention was on his daughter and did not take the hint.

“I’m not tired. I’m wide awake.” Old Mrs Fu refused conclusively. “Second Daughter-in-law, go to sleep if you’re tired.”

It was really strange.

Just a while ago, she was still quite weak. However, after seeing her little sweetheart, she felt extremely energetic.
