Even Though You Are Crazy.

"Talk to me Peare, what are our options?" Li Jun walked off his sleep and got his coat from a chair, tiredly.

" They might not find the underground rooms" Peare said realistically. Only the previous people who had stayed here might have known about the secret door.

"Humor me , Peare" Li Jun walked out of his bedroom door , the older man in tow.

"Then we would be screwed!" Peare said in his usual humorless tone.

Li Jun paused his train of thoughts to crack a smile.

"Thank you.. for your input" Li Jun walked to the front door. Then stopped to turn around .

"Have our men returned with the evidences?"

"Yes .But the evidences of the bloody knife and Mr Louis's bloody shirt has no link to Mr Brad without forensic doc.u.mentation.What should we do? "

"hmm... he would not have just coincidentally have a bloody knife lying around his house, but then again... Do we have the surveillance still on, in the underground room?"Li Jun asked and Mr Peare confirmed with a nod.

"Then the evidences will have to be confirmed by the victim's family..... when the time comes" Li Jun had to make use of this evidence if he was in trouble.

"Yes.But I don't think there is much we can do in this short time given the reach of the people we are dealing with"

"Hmmm .. that is true. They have even found us so soon. Hopefully , they wouldn't find out where the door to the underground rooms is " Li Jun said worriedly.

Li Jun met the guests as soon as he walked out the front door .

Very soon, he was bombarded with questions and statements.

"Mr Li Jun, I am Mark Wilson- Chief of police here. we have a warrant here to search the house. Please cooperate." The chief handed the younger man the warrant.

Li Jun took the warrant from his hands and made a great show of looking through it. Truth be told, Li Jun was impressed with the speed of these people. It must have taken them a lot of networking to even get his name.

"Of course. But, might I ask on what grounds, are you searching my house?" Li Jun acted oblivious as he went through the informal doc.u.ment.

"We have a tip off that you are holding Mr Louis Wilson captive here, illegally" The chief replied gruffly. Truthfully, he did not believe that this 19 year old kid here was capable of such a feat. But, then again, the last call made to the police against his nephew was from Mr Shi secretary's phone and Mr Shi was too powerful to just burst into his residence with a sloppy warrant. The "tip off " he had mentioned was from Louis's own guard at his private residence. When earlier Louis had gone off the grid after he had called to warn the police against interfering with him along Q road , he had notified the mayor and the clues had led them to Mr Shi's door. Just when that had grown unfruitful, The elder Mr Wilson had received the report of the last known location of his son's phone no. and the area showed this location. Mr Wilson then called Louis's secretary and he then had made a call to Wilson's private residence which even the Mayor was not given access to.

The guard had informed then that Mr Louis had indeed given them a call earlier and some men had arrived on his orders and entered Mr Louis's private gallery. They had only just gone out.

In alarm , they had traced the call but found that it was made using a burner cell. But they still got the address of the last location and with the information found that the villa was recently bought and was under the name of a - Mr Li Jun, 19 years old, who apparently was a friend of Mr Shi's son...But nothing else could be found in such a short time. The chief signed on a hand written warrant , as they drove on the way , and here they were.

"I have no clue as to who this Mr Louis is but just to know.. Since when is he missing?" The kid asked looking innocent and curious.

" Since a few hours ago" The Mayor said his eyes glinting with suspicion. His own son was younger than his boy here, and he had commited worst crimes. He wouldn't buy the innocent act.

"Then according to the law , he is not even missing.Maybe he is just at a bar drunk , or with some girls or maybe he even ran away.."

"Shut up! If I say that he is missing , he IS missing!" The Mayor yelled authoritatively.

Li Jun didn't like to be spoken to in this manner.

Li Jun shrugged.

"I can't say or do anything with two grown men like the mayor and the chief of police overpowering me but I still would like to exercise my right to call for my lawyer before you begin violating my privacy. This hand written 'warrant' don't count shit to me" Li Jun said as politely as he could, tossing the piece of paper towards the mayor.

The Mayor was shocked that the youngster knew so much but it only got him more suspicious. This boy was too calm to be normal.He got more worried for the safety of his son.

"I AM THE MAYOR OF THIS CITY , BOY!... HERE, WHAT I SAY GOES!" The mayor was angry.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Li Jun smiled and warned.

The mayor ignored the warning.

" Men, start searching. Don't overlook any corners.You must find my son" The Mayor was convinced that his boy was here, hopefully still unhurt.

Li Jun stood to the side as throngs of policemen ran inside his house.

Hearing the crashes of vases inside he quickly went inside with Peare.

"Hey! Careful with the antiques...You wouldn't find your Mr Louis hiding inside a priceless Chinese vase" Li Jun was really annoyed but hid it well, enough.

"Mr Li , what do you do for a living, if I might asked?" The chief of police asked trying to dig dirt.

"I am only a student"Li Jun made a gesture saying : what else can u be,at 19 years old?

"Ah yes! Then, what do your parents do for a living?

"My father is dead and my mother is a housewife"

"who makes the living then?"

"My grandfather is a small businessman"

The man did not believe for a second that a small time businessman's grandchild could own such an expensive villa. He was about to ask more but the kid had gone off to the corner to made a call... probably to his lawyer the chief of police thought.

Li Jun did make a call but it was not to his lawyer..... Then he gestured for Peare to come closer.
