Even Though You Are Crazy.

"That's impossible!" Yu Yan blurted out desperately.

"Really?" Li Jun broke into the most beautiful smile.

"No, not really. I am only kidding because, you guys were making too much noise just now" Uncle Kao snickered.

"What the ..." Li Jun couldn't believe this stupid old man.

Yu Yan let out a breathe of relief.

"hahaha...uncle,Why would you make such a mean joke?" Yu Yan nervously wiped the sweat off her forehead with her hand.

Uncle Kao snickered again as he shrugged.

"Uncle... tell us the truth. Is Yu Yan pregnant or not? " Li Jun had a subtle warning in his voice. He couldn't believe his cruel joke.

"Aissh... Can't an old man joke a bit? Its so boring all day, at my home" Uncle Kao looked at the youngsters with a hint of complain.

Li Jun was so amazed at the old man's audacity that he had no words to say at that moment. One moment he had his head in the clouds and the next he crashed down on the ground.

"Haha! Uncle your joke was a little harsh this time but no worries.. hahah" Yu Yan laughed awkwardly. What else could she do?

"In my old days my friends used to call me Mr jokes master, I was that good". uncle Kao bragged pompously.

"Yes. Yes . Your jokes are always great" Yu Yan praised the old man, untruthfully.

"Maybe I should start making jokes for a living now that I am old.. Little Yu Yan what do you say?" Uncle Kao asked her seriously.

"Ummm...."

But before she could reply to uncle Kao's question, Li Jun cut in irritably..

"So what problem did you find with Yu Yan's health earlier" He reminded the old man bluntly.

Yu Yan also listened for the answer intently.

Uncle Kao heavily sat down on a nearby chair and crossed his legs .

"That. .Yu Yan is very weak. Its good you brought her here today. She has a case of a disease called 'water blood' . Its a disease where her blood is too thin and cold. She needs to take extensive medication from me for atleast three months and she should be fine" Uncle Kao said looking serious.

Li Jun frowned so hard that Yu Yan was worried he would get a heart attack.

"But it's not a serious disease right?" Yu Yan tried.

"Its not a serious disease in the sense that you would call cancer, not serious if you found out very early". Uncle Kao scared them. Li Jun opened his eyes wider.

Uncle Kao continued his speech..

" Its treatable now.You don't have to worry so much" Yu Yan nodded in understanding.

"What do we have to do?Do we get her admitted to a hospital? Uncle Kao you have to help us" Li Jun was desperate.

Uncle Kao shook his head.

"Like I said, you guys came at the right time. Luckily I found it early. She only needs to take some medicine properly for a few months and she will be alright in no time at all".

"Uncle, is this disease of mine a communicable disease" Yu Yan inquired.

"No. You probably got this disease a long time ago and is dormant right now. You don't worry so much. Stress is also bad for you" Uncle scratch his head as he explained.

They continued talking for awhile and the maid brought out the exotic fruit, uncle Kao was talking about earlier. Yu Yan ate it deliciously, while Li Jun stared at it; his attention elsewhere.

Soon, uncle Kao left to prepare Yu Yan's medicine leaving them alone in the room.

"I will be fine , Li Jun" Yu Yan went closer to him and hugged him comfortingly.

"Of course you will." Li Jun answered resolutely.

He would accept nothing but that.
