Even Though You Are Crazy.

The drive was quiet for a few minutes.

" Why did you have to over react for such a small thing? I clearly told you that I was okay... Aachoo". Yu Yan said a little harshly.

" Its a small thing? Yu Yan , listen to me, it might have been a small thing to you but it's a big thing to me okay? Do you know what went through my mind? My feelings? How could you blame me for reacting the way I did, huh?" Li Jun answered bitterly.

" I am not saying you are wrong. But , you could have gone about it , more politely or something.." She sniffled.

"Ha! I could have gone worst than that...Its good that you stopped me." Li Jun smirked dangerously. He realized he over reacted but he also knew he would react the same way if he could turn back the time.

" Okay , Okay.. let's not argue about this anymore. Just drop me off here". They were already very close to the office. She wanted to walk the little distance to there,just in case people saw them.

" We are not going to the office. We are going to the hospital". There was no room for an argument.

Yu Yan sighed in defeat.

They passed the office and then again passed the hospital.

"Which hospital are we going to go to?" Yu Yan asked confused .

"Uncle Kao's" Yu Yan answered.

"Oh" There was nothing else she could say.

Uncle Kao was ' the stuff of legend'. Tremendously talented ever since he was a child; in the field of medicine,there was none who could outdo him.He had travelled around the whole world ever since he was a very young boy, studying various medicines and techniques.He had only retired a few years ago and settled back in Z city- his original home. Yu Yan was especially impressed with him,the few times she had the honor of getting treated by him. His medicine was top- notch and cured whatever ailments she suffered from in the past. Li Jun and the old doctor were not family but Li Jun always had special privilege to the doctor's services. Yu Yan didn't know why.

They arrived at a mansion very soon and the gate opened as soon as the surveillance camera spotted the car.

They drove a little more inside until they reached the main house which was an extravagant ;old Chinese designed home, filled with a lot of bamboo trees and fengshui plants... fragrant smell of herbs lingering in the air.

The couple went inside the house and were shown directly into the master-office room.

As soon as they entered, a plump looking old man stood up with a jovial smile on his face.

" Come in ..come in.. let me look at you two. After the wedding we could not even talk to each other properly. Its good that you came to see me today. I just received a good batch of an exotic fruit from an old friend in Africa, let's eat that.". The man was all smiles and looked at Li Jun like, he was looking at his own son.

" Uncle I am not here for a visit. Yu Yan got into a car accident just a few minutes ago. It was not a serious accident but check her, just in case". Li Jun said directly not wasting even a few words to greet the old man or answer to his offer of a fruit.

Yu Yan looked at him and smirked as he said "it was not a serious accident" . Now he was even admitting it himself.

Li Jun looked at her expression and rolled his eyes.

"Aiyo... Child ,why are you still standing there then? come sit here fast". The old man called worriedly ,patting the seat beside him.

Yu Yan nodded respectfully and sat beside uncle Kao. Li Jun took the chair nearest to her.

Uncle Kao yelled for the maid to bring his equipments.

A maid brought a huge brown bag and placed it on the table beside uncle Kao.

"Do you feel nauseous or anything unusual?" Uncle Kao said as he took out his stethoscope from the brown bag. He began with his usual form of a check up.

"No uncle. I am fine. Li Jun worries too much" Yu Yan said as she smiled.

Uncle Kao did her check up and then held her hand , feeling her pulse . His brows were scrunched up in concentration.

"hmmmm... There is no danger to your health, just that you have a cold and your inner chi is a little cold. Let me give you some herbal medicine and tonics later... very soon you will be as healthy as a horse. I can see you have a small bruise on your face too, I will prescribe an excellent ointment for it". He laughed loudly and patted her back in a loving manner.

"That's great. Thank you uncle" Yu Yan said in gratitude. His medicine would definitely cure her cold. Yu Yan was pleased that atleast the trip was not made in vain.

"Why is your expression so weird?" Li Jun said suddenly from the side, not looking pleased at all. In fact ,he was worried. Did uncle Kao find some kind of hidden disease and was hiding the truth from them because he didn't want to worry them?

Uncle Kao paled suddenly.

It had been too much for him to hope that Li Jun would not notice his weird expression.
