Even Though You Are Crazy.

The huge pool house was decorated in golden lights . The staffs had arranged a number of barbecue stoves and lined them up, ready with meat and other food- in a corner of the pool house. The uniformed waiters were continuously bringing in food , and placing them onto the lined up tables ,one after the other.

The water was glistening from the huge pool and reflected like diamonds on the surrounding pillars,making the effect magical. The entire effect was made more beautiful with a gigantic chandelier hanging down from the pool house complimenting the huge champagne - pyramid beneath it. The staffs had done an excellent job in just a short time.

Around 6. am a lone guest arrived in Moon Palace driving a fancy car. After security checks , the guest was led to the pool house by the Butler himself.

" Why have you arrived so early? its not even 7 yet." Li Jun said as he gave a friendly hug to Murong Jian.

Murong Jian laughed.

"What difference does it make? How is marriage life my friend?" Murong Jian hugged back.

"Its fantastic. " Li Jun smiled happily while pulling Yu Yan towards him.

"Let me introduce you guys.This is Murong Jian. He is my childhood friend . He recently came back from overseas. I believe you have not met him before..." He introduced Murong Jian to Yu Yan.

Yu Yan smiled and extended her hand politely. She could tell that Li Jun was close to this friend.

"...And this is my wife Yu Yan.." Li Jun put his arms around Yu Yan proudly.

Murong Jian eyed Yu Yan just for a split second, took her hand and smiled .

Murong Jian , like Li Jun came from a very wealthy background. He was 26 and his family owned chains of restaurants all over the world. But unlike Li Jun who controlled most of his businesses, Murong Jian was the second son and mainly focused on spending his family's money. He was a typical rich boy like most in their circle of friends. He didn't have a good impression of Yu Yan.

They exchanged pleasantries and Li Jun and Murong Jian chatted while drinking expensive champagne. They spoke about some old memories and some line of work .... Yu Yan was clueless about the topics.

Yu Yan soon started to feel awkward and her smile became harder to maintain .

As more people came in, it only became worst. Especially when they deliberately tried to include her only out of politeness and asked her redundant questions. That in itself was embarrassing to her in a lot of ways and on so many levels. It made her feel like an uneducated, poor kid who had gone beyond where she was meant to stay .. which was only the truth, unfortunately.

She knew a lot of the friends in passing but was not close to a single one.

She tried to chat with them but there was nothing she could talk about.

As loud music played in the background, Yu Yan looked around. This crowd, were the elites in society . The whole of Z city respected this crowd of young people. Even if people didn't know them personally, they still would know their families... and the highest among them was her husband.And she was a nobody. Even the maids here were richer and more powerful than her.. She felt inadequate and left out.

This party had not been a very good idea.

Everybody wanted to talk to Li Jun and Li Jun as a host complied.

Yu Yan discretely left Li Jun's side to walk towards one of the tables loaded with food.

She picked up a plate and put a little bit of food and sat down on a chair beside the pool. She turned around to check on Li Jun and Li Jun was directly looking at her as he continued talking to the people around him.

She smiled at him and he stopped talking to smile back at her... This caused every single one in the crowd around Li Jun to turn towards her.... MAJOR AWKWARD MOMENT!!

Yu Yan averted her eyes as coolly as she could and concentrated on the plate in her hands and looked at the heated pool. Some people had changed into their swimming clothes and were playing in the water already.

"Hi..?" A gentle voice greeted from beside her.

"I am Tan Nuo.. I am Tan Chenglei's sister" The pretty girl introduced herself.

Yu Yan knew Tan Chenglei. He had come to her wedding and was introduced to her.

"Hi .. I am Yu Yan" She greeted back.

" Heheh.. I know that" Tan Nuo smiled cheerfully.

"Oh!" Yu Yan simply said. That was obvious. Even if the world outside didn't know her, Most of Li Jun's friends and colleagues knew who she was.

"I have seen you a couple of times around but we never spoke" Tan Nuo chirped.

" Oh!" What else was Yu Yan supposed to say?.

The conversation grew stale and Tan Nuo simply sat beside Yu Yan's chair drinking her champagne.

All the people were laughing and chatting in every corner, especially Li Jun's corner.. the only odd place was where Yu Yan and Tan Nuo were sitting. Various people came to talk to Yu Yan but awkwardly left with no further conversation.

Soon people began to gossip about how proud she was... especially the plus ones of the friends of Li Jun's.

A beautiful girl with super mini dress and killer heels walked up to Yu Yan after awhile.

She introduced herself as Nie Ting . The conversation started normal enough but soon Yu Yan grew suspicious especially as she noticed a little condescending expression, in Nie Ting's eyes and words.

" I have never been to this house. It seems, it is a new one." The girl spoke.

"Yes, we recently finished it's construction and moved in only after the wedding" Yu Yan replied politely.

" The old house in M community was also very grand. Of course ,this mansion is better but I do miss the old house sometimes" Nie Ting said familiarly as she spoke like she was unaware of the implications of her words.

Yu Yan raised an eye then.

" Yes , Dragon villa was good but Li Jun and I felt it was not really good as a family house and built this mansion instead." Yu Yan spoke politely giving Nie Ting the benefit of the doubt.

" Hmmm... I wonder if Li Jun still has that dog named Black. I really miss him sometimes"

Was this woman talking about the dog or her husband?

"Ummm.. I don't know about that dog. Li Jun doesn't keep pets now" Yu Yan was still polite.

"Oh really? that's sad. " The girl raised her eyebrows slightly.

"I don't know how to say this .... but I wonder if Li Jun ever told you...."

" Huh? told me ?about what?" Yu Yan replied suspicious about her tone of voice.

Nie Ting acted like she was hesitating and blurted out.

" Li Jun and I were in love once. We were nearly engaged" Nie Ting said sadly.

Yu Yan's eyes grew so big that Nie Ting thought it would fall out of her sockets... She smirked , satisfied inside.

" ... It... Its all in the past now Yan, I am sure he loves only you now...But I felt I should let you know because it would be like I am lying to a friend" Nie Ting was all innocence.

Yu Yan has speechless.
