When they reached home. Li Jun got busy. Yu Yan sat in the living room surrounded by more than 30 armed men and their house keeper Mrs Lee fussing over the shivering Yu Yan.

Li Jun was making calls and talking to his subordinates in quiet voices and constantly looking over Yu Yan.

"who the f.u.c.k are these people!? find them before this day is over!" He spoke threateningly through the phone.

After nearly two hours, Li Jun was joined by the chief of police.

"Ceo Li .... " The Chief of police spoke respectfully.

Li Jun glanced at him and then looked over at Yu Yan who was sleeping with her head on the l.a.p of Mrs Lee.

" Mr Fu please join me in my study" . He walked away as he said the words not turning back to see if he was even followed.He walked through his study room door and proceeded to sit down on a single cushioned chair beside his study bookshelves and gestured to the seat opposite him for Mr Fu to sit on. Then he signalled for Mr Fu to begin his account.

Mr Fu opened his suitcase to take out a file and passed it to Li Jun. As Li Jun looked through the file ,Mr Fu began.

"There were four assailants and we caught all four of them as they crossed highway xx. Two of them were injured heavily and one passed away before we could even take them to a hospital. The other injured assailant is in the ICU and his other two companions are in custody at the police station. My men are still interrogating them as we speak and so far they have refused to cooperate with us." Mr Fu reported professionally.

Li Jun frowned.

"The identity of the men are tricky as you can see from the files.... They have nothing in common. We will need to investigate extensively to get to the bottom of this..." He paused .... then added...

"Ceo Li may I suggest..to arrange few of my men to guard you and your wife until we find out who is responsible for this attempt on you and your wife's lives?" He offered politely.

Li Jun looked at him like he was looking at a fool.

" Thank you for your kind offer..." Li Jun stood up and Mr Fu stood up automatically with him " .... But I am afraid,i will have to decline this time." He extended his hands to give Mr Fu's clammy hands a firm shake. He spoke politely. But there was nothing polite about his indifferent gaze.

" Mr Fu I shall need to pay you a visit soon... say ... tomorrow ?.I will need to talk to the assailants myself" Li Jun showed Mr Fu to the door.

As Li Jun watched the chief of police leaving, Li Jun called out.

"Mr Fu?" The Chief of police turned around .

" ....Please keep them safe" He warned.
