"WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS?" Li Jianguo slammed his fist on the table in great anger, glaring daggers at Li Jun. Calmly Li Jun looked over.

" Don't pretend like you don't know Mr Li..." Li Jun said calmly as he ladled mushroom soup into his wife's bowl. Then he continued speaking..." My new wife also already knows about our family drama , so we don't have to keep up this.... facade" He made a hand gesture towards the whole family as Li Jun looked straight into his father's eyes.

Li Fuhua shot up from his chair and shouted.

"Li Jun how can you be so disrespectful to our father. Don't act so proud just because you are the CEO of Li's empire.Its only because dad loves you ,that he allowed you so much power"

Li Jun started laughing at Li Fuhua's words.

"Li Fuhua ,my brother ,please save me the theatrics.... Everybody in this room knows that Mr Jianguo is not my father and he did not 'allow' me anything. If he could he would have already murdered me by now" He laughed like it was the funniest joke he had heard.

All this while Meng Hua continued to drink her wine slowly and pretended like she was not part of these conversations.

Li Jianguo glared at Li Jun and then looked at Yu Yan.

Yu Yan didn't pay attention to everything happening around her and drank from her favorite mushroom soup happily.
