Enigmas
Chapter 37
"We'll find ourselves a tent to stay in, if the princess is finally planning to make a move and she needs the extra help, just find us." Yoan grinned, spinning around and sauntering away. Hilia walked beside him, finally letting the bafflement show on her face.
June didn't chase after them, she only sat there, keeping her dagger. There was a contemplative look on her face as she watched them stroll away.

"Yoan, what was that?"
Hilia could ask the question that had been nagging at her in her mind, after they had eventually looked for a tent for themselves to stay in. They were sharing this tent with another person that they hadn't met yet, since after asking around, this was the only tent that had enough space for two more people to stay in temporarily.
"We really aren't here to make friends, Hilia, have you forgotten what we are here for?" Yoan stared at Hilia intently, unbuttoning his the first two buttons of his shirt and placing his swords aside. They were beside the bed he had already decided to sleep on.
The beds was a thin layer of cotton sheet and the tent had another layer of thin sheet to prevent the cotton sheets from getting dirited by the ground.
"Th-that's true, but…" Hilia began to retort, trailing off as she bit on her lip. "But…"
Yoan sighed, marching to her and leaning down to her height, flicking her on the forehead. Hilia let out a tiny yelp, rubbing at her forehead as she hissed in pain.
"Ow!"
"Stop thinking too hard, silly idiot," Yoan ruffled her hair and she smacked his hand away, narrowing her eyes at him. "And I'll just tell you one thing, Hilia."
"What?" She pursed her lips, annoyed.
"Mino isn't the mastermind. The princess and Mino...they are just more innocent souls that are caught in the spiderweb."
Hilia blinked, no longer rubbing her forehead, shocked, "...were you ever this clever? I'm surprised. How did you figure that out?"
"I have brains, Hilia, just like you." Yoan deadpanned and Hilia laughed, making Yoan's lips twitch as he heard her melodious laughter.
"Fine, I'll trust you." Hilia answered after her laughter, smiling at Yoan as she thought about his words.
That's right, it's true what Yoan said, we aren't here to make friends, we are just here for information and we need to offer our help to get to that information.
However, Hilia had a feeling Yoan knew something that she didn't know, and that he was hiding it from her.
