Chapter 46 - Force number 2 Gotcha!

Kiel's heart skipped a beat the moment he opened his eyes again. A breathtaking never before scene presented itself to the world like never before. The world was not the same monotone world as always, as to the little boy now the world had another magical hue to it. The world like someone painted in scarlet colour. Even the normal blue light reflected by the moons appeared to be scarlet.

In the midst of the scarlet rays reflected by the dull moons, gigantic twists and curls, painted in blue and green lay exposed to the n.a.k.e.d eye from one end of the spectrum to the other. There were numerous intangible LINES, yes lines of bright green and blue colours spread all over the horizon and as far as the eyes could see. These lines seemingly had their own regions associated with their faint hue. The colourful world now had another colour to see.

Kiel sat there dumbstruck without even the ability to move a finger, totally immersed in the magical feeling, unaware of anything else. He sat there totally forgotten of the world, like the scenes before they were inviting his soul to never look away.

He watched as these simple lines travelled across the horizon like they owned the world itself. He watched them stretch out like the world was their playground. He even watched them and even had a feeling like looking at the planet itself. If he could speak now, he would still opt to remain silent to pay his respects to this scene presented before him.

He looked as somewhere in between these monotonous regions, the lines were highly concentrated, while somewhere else they were almost empty. There were places where the colour was so bright even looking at them seemed impossible, but these places seemed so far away from him that even if he walked all his life to reach them, he knew that would be all in vain; while others were so faint that they were hardly visible.

The bluish-green majestic lines would even sometimes wriggle and sometimes straighten themselves out, giving themselves a kingly feel. Only one could describe the majestic scene that he witnessed and that is EVERYWHERE, yes and everywhere they were. Kiel looked as these lines passed all around him, looked as a few even passed through him.

The mind-boggling scene was so spectacular that it stunned him for quite some time. It was the same feeling you get when you discover something so big that even the comparison of ant of being small, is not enough to describe the tininess that you actually feel.

This was the actual universe. It didn't care what you think about it, how you pray to it or beg it. It always stands as proud and majestic as always, without giving a damn to others. You can only look up at it.

As Kiel sat in the woods, he noticed the shapes of the various fields, he witnessed the majesty, but when he looked around he noticed that it was not the bigger lines itself present, there were even these lines present around the various shades of the fauna around.

The scenario around looked totally different. In the midst of these scarlet colour, everything seemed to have become hollow. Even the various trees looked like someone cut open their bark, exposing the insides. But what was even more surprising was Kiel could see the barks, leaves, flowers, fruits and rocks all and everything.

Kiel was totally stunned by the development, as he even forgot where he was. At first glance, it seemed that everything lay b.a.r.e to him, but as he looked closely, he realised that was not it.

Everything still had their cover. Trees still had their barks, flowers, leaves and fruits still had their upper layer, rocks still seemed solid as always.

It just that he could see an in-depth image of everything around. He still could not see organs, tissues and bones, but what he could see was the bluish-green lines concentrated inside everything. He could see these lines travelling inside everything around. And as they came outside and covered their bodies like protecting themselves.

It looked like it was because of these lines that the illusion of hollowness showed itself. As Kiel looked around mastering he noticed that even his own body had these lines, but these lines seem to be even more concentrated inside him as they travelled everywhere inside him and seemingly passed his skin to even come outside.

And another astonishing fact was that the lines surrounding his body acted like a shield preventing most of the lines flowing outside to enter his body, causing most of the outside lines to deflect outwards. It looked like the dimmer the lines outside, the easier it was for them to tunnel through his lines. The brighter lines outside had to curve around his body to pass away.

What surprised him even more was the sight that there was a bright red blob inside his lower abdomen. Most of these greenish-blue lines seem to be starting from this glob circulating all within him then flowing outside of his body to create a unique field very close to him and then entering to meet the red blob. It was a very mysterious feeling.

However, when Kiel looked outside, he didn't find any such red globs within the plants or rocks. He also noticed that the lines around the plants were quite faint. Actually very faint, allowing most of the lines to pass through them. It was quite strange.

But it was the fact. Science was the discovery of nature. It was not the changing of the laws. You can observe the rules derive different products, but you cannot change the fundamental rule.

Unknown to even him, bested by his curiosity Kiel's hand waved on his own seemingly wanting to touch these lines. But what happened was actually more to be expected. His hands just deflected the lines. He could not touch them!

"Are these magnetic lines of forces?" Wondered the little boy.

Intrigued by the spectacle presented before him, Kiel stood up and walked forward to the plants to touch the lines around them to see if they had any difference. And surprisingly the moment his lines met with the lines of the plants they didn't deflect each other.

Instead, the reaction was a mutual intersection of the two lines. The bluish lines around him diverged from him and then converged towards the fainter lines. Although the two didn't mix, his lines actually stayed there for a few moments before dissipating. But that was not all the magic had to it.

Kiel now noticed that everything had these lines around them. Whether the grasses around him or the bugs buzzing around. Even the irritating mosquitoes had those lines.

"So these are really lines of force around us, and so the lines of force around me should be my biological lines of force. The magnetic field must be these bluish lines. Then what would be the scarlet hue painting everything in red?

Kiel pondered for a moment, but couldn't get the actual notion. The scarlet gue should be a force too. And it was obviously something that he knew and it was at the top of his tongue. But seemingly something was obscuring the real answer for him. Kiel had a feeling like that.

Kiel wanted to ponder for a bit, but something else caught his interest. There were green lights a little distance away in the woods, different from the faint lines of the plant. These were yet different from his own blue lines. His were deep and dark, while these radiated like the sun itself.

And they were more than one of them. Creating continuous horizontal green lines instead of the original vertical lines. Intrigued by the suddenness of these lines, as he didn't notice them before, so he decided to follow them to see what they led to.

In the scarlet world, Kiel continued following the blue lines. He walked for a minute or two when he suddenly felt the disturbance of the magnetic field at a distance ahead. The blue lines ahead appeared to be way more dazzling but there were chaotic and in constant movement. The abnormality didn't go over his eyes.

" Maybe there is a treasure there affecting the field lines of the planet. "

His heart skipped a beat. He had read stories that in these scenarios the main character would find themselves quite lucky and get a heavenly treasure way above that they can even imagine. Then they would depend on the treasure to get way above the others of their league. Maybe it was the changing point of his poor life now.

"Even if it's not some heavenly treasure, getting riches is also enough to kickstart my plan. Yes! Heavenly treasure here I come!"

Kiel picked up his pace and started running towards the direction. Although he was directionally handicapped, it was still enough to follow a few blue dazzling lines at the distance in the middle of all these redness.

He ran a few metres ahead with his heart full of excitement. He felt that just a little ahead there was a little opening without any trees where the chaotic field persisted. How he came to know that stuff? No idea, it was like the lines instinct informing him. Like he knew it was natural for him to know that stuff. And when he was just a little distance away, he felt a shockwave hit him.

The sudden appearance of the shockwave was so startling that he couldn't balance himself properly. But luckily his centre of gravity shifted adjusted just as quickly, preventing him from falling. However, mistakenly startled by the sudden shockwave, he shut down his eyelids. Startled, he halted himself.

From the moment he opened his eyes, it seemed there were some beeping noises inside his head, but he didn't feel like focusing on them now. Maybe if he was distracted he would lose this magical world forever. So he was just going with the flow, although he had regained his consciousness from the initial distortion.

However, now when he opened his eyes again, the red world immediately vanished from his sight, like it was never there. Although he could still feel the fields faintly, he could not watch that mind-blowing phenomenon again. And if he focused bid eyes a little and concentrated, a faint dizzy feeling overtook him.

"Maybe I over exhausted my mental capacity."

Solemnly looking around again, he still didn't find anything else. However, how could he forget the treasure? So he slowly moved forward. He did bring his sword with him, but he knew this deep inside the forest, whatever it was, treasure or trap, the sword was not enough to protect him. In fact, the sword is not even a weapon for protection.

The terrain of the forest was full of bushes and uneven big rocks. So it was the best place to hide. Kiel also found a big enough rock close to the outline of the opening, so that he could hide behind it and peek ahead of what was really happening.

But the moment he hid behind the rock, Kiel could hear various sounds of weapons clashing. There were sounds of shockwaves and voices of girls shouting. Kiel inferred that maybe people found the treasure ahead of himself and we're fighting to take hold of its ownership.

He also could discern the various waves of magic being cast. So he was sure of a fight. Kiel wanted to use the magnetic field to see what was happening without exposing him, but he couldn't see the field flux lines. But he could not just go back. He had to look. Even if there was no treasure and the chaotic field was due to the ongoing fighting, he still had to take a peek to satisfy his curiosity.

He knew the phrase 'Curiosity killed the cat'. But he was bound by habits. And habits don't change easily.

"Looks like I can do it the hard way only!"

Kiel took a deep breath, suppressed bid nervousness and peeked a little ahead.
