CHAPTER 27

Sensing she was something else, the PRD Manager, eyed her stylishly when Chu Hua took Andromeda to her office.

"Boss said you should take her in and introduce her to the rest. She is learning."

"Learning?!" The look in her eyes told Andromeda she wasn't expecting her kind of person.

That only gave Andromeda the idea that she wanted. The lady before them did not fail to hide her mild disgust as she studied Andromeda carefully.

"Fine. You may go, Fu Chu Hua. I would do as he has said."

"Yes, ma. Have a nice day." Fu Chu Hua took her leave quickly. She did not know what her boss's plan was, sending her in to learn.

One thing was sure, she knew this woman wasn't here to learn but to help their company but how did things change? Did he not find her suitable? Ignoring the reasons, she left Andromeda to her fate.

"Good morning," Andromeda greeted politely.

"Just because the boss agreed to accept someone like you, doesn't mean you should not know your place." Andromeda arched her brows in confusion. "I thought I should let you know. Follow me."

She did not speak to her but simply nodded and followed her. As they went, the lady who looked not more than her late thirties began to fill her in on some rules.

Most she found ridiculously not necessary and would not apply to others but she brushed them off and smiled at the lady. It was obvious her looks and dress sense had angered the lady.

They soon got the floor where most of the fashion designers had their desks and worked.

"Come in. Do not slouch." The lady reminded her. The second everyone saw her, they rose to their feet and greeted her.

"Good morning, Ms Gao Fei."

"Morning. I have with me, an intern. Put her through the ethics of this place. Have her assist and learn."

"Yes ma," they chorused. Andromeda who was still standing behind her took this opportunity to walk out and smiled at them.

Before coming to see the woman, she had used her shawl to pack her behind her while folding the hand of her shirt, to make her look less corporate a bit.

Because she did not know if Liu Xueyi would grant her request or not, she had to dress well to be on the safe part. Now that he did, she needed to look the part.

"Good morning everyone, please do teach me and look out for me," she gave her best fake smile at them, winning the hearts of the guys and the envy of the ladies.

"Boy is she beautiful," one of the guys complimented.

"Hmm, she is just an intern. What is there to be happy about?" Another lady affirmed.

"True. All she has are looks. I doubt there would be a brain in there."

"You got that right, Wang Mei Mei. Most of these dull faces we meet are dumb. She cannot be different."

"Relax, welcome her in first. Now we have our lab dog to do most of our work. The boss just eased our work."

Just listening to the side comments from all angles, another smile, more sinister than the first spread on her lips as she lowered her head to greet them properly.

"Okay. Huh, do you have a name?" Ms. Gao Fei asked out of the blue.

"Agnes ma."

"Oh please, tell us your real and full name," one of the earlier ladies yelled out.

"It is Chao Su Jing," Andromeda replied.

"Okay. You would use the empty desk over there," she pointed to a chair and table at her left. "That is all. Get to work everyone. I am taking my leave."

"Yes, ma."

Everyone returned to what they were doing, leaving her alone to do whatever she liked.

No sooner had she got to her desk than three of the ladies that spoke badly about her come in.

"Here!" A loud thud as several papers landed on her desk. "Clean your place up and tend to this work. Sort it out," the first, a dark short-haired lady in her late twenties spoke up.

"And this too." Another lady, a brown-haired, not-so-tall, and slim-looking girl added. "My sketches, they are unfinished work, try doing something good and thrash them."

"You girls are mean. What of mine. Won't she do them?"

"Is she complaining? The first asked. "Add it all up, Mu Xu."

"Sure. Was going to do that, Mi Guan. Here sort mine out too," Mu Xu added.

She did not say anything but watched them act away as if they belonged. She got up, searched for a clean cloth, which was handed to her and she wiped off the little dirt on her table and chair before settling down properly.

'Okay Andromeda, ignore those mean bitches and get to work. Let's get what we came for. Who knows, they might fall victim and would have to get out.'

A cheeky grin spread on her lips before she started the work they gave her.

That day had worked out smoothly for her but not to mention tiring.

She was used to this sometimes. Beatrice Zhang behaved this way and asked her for her favour to help out.

At times she claimed she had a shoot to do to help market the clothes and stuff. Because everything she did was for the betterment of the Wu Company, she did not complain and did her best in assisting.

However, what caught her attention aside from the bickering some did were the gossip about her.

"Hey girls, I heard from Ms Gao Fei that the CEO hired a new fashion designer."

"Dong Cho Cho, are you sure you are saying the truth?"

"Yes. do you think I would lie about it?" Dong Cho Cho asked. "I heard she was to resume today but maybe due to some reasons it had been postponed."

"Imagine the nonsense. She has not even resumed yet but she has began taking off days already. Hmm, I just hope boss sees this side of her and demote her."

The malice in their tones as one by one they dissed her almost made her laugh.

Of course they didn't know she was the be. It only proved her come back would be great
