DxD: King Of Summoning

"H-He really did it...?"

"A-Ah...."

Azazel, Mephisto and Tannin were dumbfounded after seeing the geometric circle of purple-black flames fade away and in front of Rey was an unidentified woman wielding a red spear!

A moment later, Rey fell unconscious and the woman then realized someone else was here. The woman turned towards Azazel and the others.

".... Who are you?"

Noticing that woman was staring at them, Azazel and the others got goosebumps feeling the immense and sharp pressure from the woman's aura as well as the threat from the red spear in her hand! They felt that they wouldn't be able to put up much resistance if they fought that woman!

Then, Azazel with slightly nervous and tense introduced himself.

"M-My name is Azazel. Leader of the Fallen Angel and the Grigori."

Then he also introduced Mephisto and Tannin.

"This is Mephisto Pheles. Old devil."

Azazel said while pointing at Mephisto who was next to him. Then Azazel also pointed at the small dragon hovering near Mephisto's shoulder, Tannin.

"And that dragon is Tannin. The former Dragon King."

After Azazel finished introducing them, the woman observed them with a gaze that was still cold but also curious.

"Hmm.... Never heard."

Azazel could only smile wryly at the woman's words.

Then, still a little awkward, Azazel spoke again.

"Ehh.... Can we get closer? We have to check that boy's condition."

Hearing Azazel's request, the woman realized Rey who was lying unconscious. The woman looked at Rey with a slight frown and then she gave a small nod to Azazel.

Seeing the woman nodded slightly allowing her to come closer, Azazel approached Rey who was lying and checked his condition.

Then, while Azazel checked Rey's condition, the woman asked her again.

".... What is this place? How did I suddenly get here?"

"This is the testing ground in my private laboratory. And you're here because this kid summoned you."

Hearing Azazel's answer, the woman looked a little surprised and questioned.

"This child is summon me? How can he?"

Azazel smiled wryly.

Shortly thereafter, Azazel finished checking Rey's condition and he then nodded slightly at Mephisto to indicate Rey was fine. He concluded Rey had just collapsed from exhaustion and would be able to recover and regain consciousness after enough rest.

Then, Azazel looked at the woman and spoke.

"If you are not reluctant, we will explain more about everything after taking this child to the treatment room, Lady ..."

".... Scathach. That's my name."

After taking Rey to the treatment room to be allowed to rest, Azazel and the others including the woman that Rey summoned from another world, Scathach, sat down and talked.

Azazel tells who Rey is and everything about him to Scathach. Azazel also told Scathach various things about this world. This includes about factions, mythologies, histories, Sacred Gears, etc.

".... I understand now.... It's been over two thousand years and civilizations are very different. In addition there are some things that are quite the same but some are quite different from the world I came from and the times I know."

Scathach came to her conclusion after listening to all the explanations from Azazel and the others.

Azazel then nodded slightly.

Azazel compared Scathach with [Scathach] from this world.

"Then.... Scathach-dono is a goddess...?"

Azazel and the others were quite surprised to see Scathach nodded slightly and confessed that she was a goddess! It was true that they had heard that a low-existence could rise to a divine-existence. But as far as they know it is very difficult to achieve!

Then, Azazel stared at the red spear in Scathach's hand.

Azazel was very surprised to hear about Scathach's red spear! He surely have heard about Cu Chulainn's Gae Bolg spear which is said to be irrevocable once it stabs its victim!

"Does Scathach-dono have any particular powers?"

Azazel asked again curiously.

Scathach nodded slightly and answered.

".... Should be, I am able to open the gate to the gathering place for the dark/death spirits called the Land of Shadows, but somehow I can't do it now. Maybe because this world is indeed another world different from my original world.... Besides that, I've also mastered the use of the Primordial Rune."

"Primordial Rune? What is that? Could you please show us a little?"

After hearing Scathach's answer, Azazel nervously confirmed his conclusion.

"S-So Scathach-dono can slay gods...?"

Azazel laughed stiffly and got goosebumps and cold sweat knowing that Scathach is a Godslayer! Mephisto and Tannin also felt the same way. They were worried that if someone offended Scathach, then chaos could occur in this world!

When I opened my eyes, I realized that I, Rey, was lying down and in the treatment room.

Then, I saw someone else here. I saw a woman with long reddish-purple hair leaning back in a chair near the window.

"You...."

".... I'm Scathach. I've heard about you from them.... And it's been seven days since you've been unconscious."

Ah.... I remember now. This woman, Scathach, is the one who was summoned after using Balance-Breaker X from my Sacred Gear. And from the inputs of information I got, she is a mentor of heroes and she was an existence that can kill gods!
