Chapter 30 - 30 - Rey's Conditions and New Flame

"I accept this Decree."

I said with a serious gaze to Mephisto-sama.

"But, I also ask a few things."

"Hm?"

Mephisto-sama seemed to be wondering realizing that I was asking for a counter conditions.

Then, I raised my three fingers.

"First, my family and I do not want to be restrained or demanded to do things outside the Decree contents. If we are requested to do things outside the contents of the Decree by the Government and/or anyone else, we have the right to refuse and no obligation for us to comply that request!"

It is true that the contents of the Decree are more favorable to me and the conditions asked are also not unreasonable. But, I also want more ȧssurance so that my family and I are not utilized by certain parties later on.

I asked for this condition because I was afraid it would be troublesome if there are untrusted parties found out too quickly and/or too much about us, especially our powers, and it resulted in them having fishy intentions. Especially about the Serene Summoning that I have.

"Third, if there is an individual or group from any party/faction that has bad intentions or even acts badly on us and we find out, then we have the right to warn sternly or even take direct action!"

The third condition is that if someone really acts badly on us, then we have the right to 'protect ourselves'.

So, the essence of the three conditions that I ask is, My family and I do not intend to look for trouble with other people, as long as no other people is looking for trouble with us.

"That's all I think.... The conditions I asked for weren't something hard to accept, were they?"

I smiled with a little smirk while saying that.

And Mephisto-sama, he laughed after listening to the conditions I asked for.
