A loud laugh escaped my mouth.

"I'm serious!" Emily put her hands on her hips. "I know you are a demon lord who will definitely get more than one woman…."

I cut off the supreme undead's speech by holding her chin. "So, you jealous?"

"It is not like that." She turned her face away. I could see the blush on her cheeks. "It's just..."

I cut her words again by kissing her lips. Before she could break free, I wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her.

"Damn it." After we finished, she pressed her head against my chest.

"She's a doctor who will take care of us if we are injured or sick." I stroked her hair. "And she will also help us in some other ways. Like making weapons or training shapeshifters to treat us."

She looked at me with the corners of her lips slightly down. "But, if there is a chance, will you also make a move on her?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "But, all this time, it was the women who made the first move, including you."

Even the one who pushed me to do that to Xenora was Phisovia.

Emily sighed. "Well, I want to report that the total undead we have now is 437. Those from Miasma ruins plus the ones I brought with me."

"Well, that's more than I thought," I responded, then we came out from behind the tree. "By adding the non-undeads, we have a formidable army."

I can only hope that the number of troops from the kingdom isn't too much, but Karl said maybe we'll face around 1000 or 2000 soldiers. Hopefully, we can use our abilities as demons to defeat them.

"I was also thinking of using the undead to do other work," I added. "Like taking care of the fields and expanding our base."

Not getting an answer after a few minutes, I asked. "Emily?"

"Ah, nothing, my lord." Her face looked a little tense. "Well, it can be done."

"Are you okay?" I can't hide my worry. She had never daydreamed like this. "Is it because you're worried I'll make that doctor mine too?"

"Even if you want to do it, I can't do anything." The supreme undead flashed a faint smile. "It's not that. I guess I'm just tired."

"If something is bothering you, please talk to me."

She just nodded, and we walked over to Lexi, who was chatting with the two skeleton figures. Ritor was also there, looking at the three individuals while scratching his hair.

"How are you, big guy?" Emily smiled at the minotaur.

Ritor looked at the supreme undead for a moment, then answered. "I'm fine."

I raised my eyebrows. Emily's tone sounded normal, but why did Ritor look awkward?

I introduced Lexi to Emily and immediately noticed the doctor's interest in the supreme undead.

"I ask permission so we can spar with each other, my lord," Ritor explained his purpose of coming to see me.

"Well, that's fine." I nodded. "As long as you don't overdo it."

"Thank you, my lord." That minotaur bowed down. "I'll take my leave."

Even I could notice that he walked quickly away from us. My suspicions were growing, but I felt this wasn't the time to ask.

"Ah, I would like to introduce these two lovely individuals, my lord." Emily patted the two skeleton figures who had come with her. "Skeletons A and B. They were the only two whose minds were intact when I awakened them."

It took a few seconds for me to respond. "Why do you give names like that?"

The supreme undead shrugged.

"We forgot our names." The skeletons figure on the left answered.

"We only remember the first letters of our names." Another one on the right added. "Hence, I'm B, and he's A."

"I see." I find it weird to see skeletons speaking male voices like them. "Welcome to my house, I guess."

"And we're both twins." Skeleton A added.

Skeleton B chuckled. "No one can tell us apart, even now."

They both laugh. Yeah, they're now completely indistinguishable. Well, they were only bones.

"Stop the lame jokes." Emily sighed. "Tell the purpose of the two of you to lord Vorn."

"We used to be part of the rebels." Skeleton A explained. "But, we are tired, and our hatred for the kingdom is no longer relevant. We prefer to do other things."

Skeleton B patted his twin brother on the shoulder. "I'm an excellent cook, and he is very obsessed with cleaning."

"Well, that's okay." I laughed at their behavior. "We would be delighted…."

"Sorry, Lady Emily." Suddenly Lexi chimed in. "This may sound strange, but I sense another individual within you."

I froze to process the doctor's words. Emily seemed to be doing the same thing.

Skeletons A and B clapped their hands and said in unison. "Congratulations on your pregnancy, lady Emily!"

What the fuck?

The undead supreme chin dropped. Her pale face turned red. "Whaaat!?"

"T-that's not what I meant." Lexi looked even more nervous. "I find it difficult to explain. Obviously, it's not a baby."

I was going to ask further, but the communication icon in my game UI flashed. Charlia, who went to the capital with Karl, is contacting me. This must be something important. I have to talk to her.

"You owe me an explanation, Doc." I walked away and pressed the icon. "What's wrong, Charlia?"

"Good morning, my lord." the succubus answered. "There's good news. We haven't reached the capital yet. But the city where we spend the night is also a transit and re-supply point for the royal soldiers."

My smile cracked a little. "Good. How many are they? And when will they get here?"

"Their number is up to a thousand, Your Majesty. According to Karl's estimation, they will arrive in ten days."

"Great." This opportunity makes me even more excited. "You will explain the details later. I'll talk to John."

John is a shapeshifter on standby at Silkdale. I did ask him to follow Karl and Charlia for something like this.

"You are going to ask him to infiltrate the army?" Charlia replied. "Karl also had the same thought. He can give hints, so John doesn't get caught doing that."

My smile widens. "Give my thanks to Karl."
