Chapter 4 – Pervert

Lin Huanhuan did not have any shoes and could only walk barefooted.

The white, tender soles stepped on the ground. Even though there was a layer of grass in between, it still caused her some pain.

Bai Di was a very attentive male.

He noticed Lin Huanhuan’s peculiar movements and immediately said, “I will carry you while I walk.”

Bai Di was very tall. The muscles of his arms were also very sturdy. His entire being was filled with strength.

He lifted Lin Huanhuan’s butt with one hand and let her sit on his right arm.

Lin Huanhuan was taken aback. She quickly reached out and hugged Bai Di’s neck, fearing that she would fall.

Bai Di was very tall. Even if he was placed in a crowd of beastmen who had an average height of 1.9 meters, Bai Di would still be the tallest and most conspicuous one.

Borrowing his coattails, Lin Huanhuan’s field of vision became very wide. With a single glance, she was able to take in the scene of most of the market’s activities into her eyes.

Bai Di held her firmly, “I’m going to take you to go see the witch doctor first. We can go visit the market afterwards, alright?”

Lin Huanhuan was a bit unwilling, “I’m really not sick…”

But Baidi refused to believe her words, and still insisted on taking her to the witch doctor.

The witch doctor of this world was equivalent to a doctor on Earth. They had some medical expertise and knew some remedies. In the majority of the beastmen’s eyes, the witch doctor was both mysterious and powerful. They could use some seemingly inconspicuous grass and plants to help bring dying beastmen back to life which could be considered as a miracle.

Even the experienced and knowledgeable Bai Di held reverence towards the witch doctors.

The witch doctor of the wolf clan was an old male with gray hair. His beard was long and white yet it was still thick.

At first glance, when Lin Huanhuan saw him, she was reminded of the myth of Santa Claus.

The wolf clan’s Witch Doctor was named Lang Zhu¹.

¹TN: I can’t help but laugh at this name. Wolf clan in Chinese is ‘Láng Zhú’…which is the same pinyin as his name. His name is just pronounced a bit differently as ‘Lǎng Zhù’.

Bai Di placed Lin Huanhuan down, clenched one of his hands into a fist and hit the front of his chest once, slightly nodding, “Witch doctor, Lang Zhu, please help me take a look at my partner, she suddenly fainted earlier.”

Lang Zhu was originally dozing off. When he heard the word “partner”, he opened his eyelids, swept a shrewd look across Bai Di, and fell onto the female next to him.

The old witch doctor slowly said, “You, youngster sure are lucky, to have actually found a female partner. It’s a pity that there are still many young lads in our wolf clan that would fight until they’re badly battered just so they could get a female partner.”

Speaking up to here, Lang Zhu paused, then stared at Lin Huanhuan and asked, “Little female, how many male partners do you have?”

Lin Huanhuan looked bewildered, “Huh?”

Bai Di immediately pulled her behind him, using his body to block the sight of the old witch doctor, his eyes revealed a look of warning.

“Witch doctor Lang Zhu, this is my female. Please don’t get any ideas about her!”

Lang Zhu smiled, his white beard swayed, “Oh Bai Di, you couldn’t have possibly forgotten right? It’s not possible for a female to have only one male partner by her side. Even if you became her male partner, she could still continue to choose other males as her partners.”

Afterall, females were really just too rare.

Bai Di’s complexion turned dark and stopped talking.

Some killing intent rose in his heart.

No one can steal his female away. They definitely can’t even if the other party was a mysterious witch doctor!

Lang Zhu seemed to have seen that this powerful and handsome beastman in front of him had stirred up the intent to kill. Thus, he no longer continued down this topic but rather he waved his hand towards the female behind him, “Little female, come over and let me see what illness you had gotten.”

Lin Huanhuan looked up at Bai Di and saw him nodding slightly. Only then did she slowly move to the front of the old witch doctor.

Lang Zhu asked her about the specific details of when she fainted.

Lin Huanhuan answered all the questions truthfully.

Finally, Lang Zhu said, “The little female is not sick, just that her body is relatively delicate and weak. She needs to be well taken care of.”

Hearing this, Lin Huanhuan and Bai Di both let out a sigh of relief.

Long Zhu drew out an animal skin pouch, “Come little female, these crispy fragrant fruits are a little greeting gift for you. Take it and eat it.”

Lin Huanhuan waved her hand quickly, “No need, thank you.”

Lang Zhu didn’t care so much and directly shoved the animal skin pouch into her hands. Then he amicably said to her, “We, the wolf tribe, still have many more interesting things. It’s rare for you to come by, why not stay here for a few more days?”

Lin Huanhuan held the gift from the old witch doctor and really couldn’t voice out any words of refusal from her mouth. She could only force herself to say, “I will listen to Bai Di.”

She was not familiar with this place. The only person who was able to give her a little sense of security was Bai Di.

After hearing this, Bai Di, whose face was originally very unsightly, immediately changed his expression from dark to sunny.

He picked up Lin Huanhuan and said warmly, “If you wanted to play, then it would not be of any problem if we stayed for a few days. If you don’t want to play, then we will head back immediately.”

Lin Huanhuan thought about it seriously.

It was rare to make a trip to the wolf tribe. Leaving just like this would indeed be quite a waste of time. She wanted to see if there was any information that was still useful here

“I want to go walk around some more.”

Towards this, Bai Di did not have any objections, “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

Lang Zhu said with a smile, “It’s rare for a female to come to our wolf tribe as a guest. This is really something to be happy about. Just stay in the tribe tonight, I will go have someone clean out a room for you.”

Right now, Bai Di was filled with vigilance against this old witch doctor that looked to be amicable.

He coldly said, “No need. I can arrange something for my female myself.”

After he finished, Bai Di picked up Lin Huanhuan and strode out of the stone house where the witch doctor lived.

The market was very lively. There were strong and sturdy male beastmen everywhere. Occasionally, one or two female beastmen could be seen, but they were surrounded by a bunch of males around them. It was difficult for others to even take a look at them.

Lin Huanhuan tightly wrapped by the animal hide. Her small delicate body was hidden inside the animal hide. No obvious female characteristics could be seen.

She sat on Baidi’s arm and looked around curiously.

Bai Di held her and came to the front of a stone house selling clothes. He asked Lin Huanhuan to choose her favorite clothes.

These were all clothes that were sewn from animal skins. The styles were simple and the workmanship was rather rough but it was still better than being naked.

Lin Huanhuan picked two of the smallest animal skin dresses from the selection, “Just this.”

The other clothes were too big for her to wear at all.

Bai Di took out a crystal coin from his waist pouch and handed it to the wolf clan beastman selling the clothes. He asked, “Is this enough?”

As soon as the wolf clan beastman saw the crystal coin, his pair of wolf eyes lit up and said excitedly, “Enough, enough!”

This was a precious crystal coin!

Not to mention two sets of animal skin dresses. It was enough to buy even all the clothes in this shop!

Lin Huanhuan hid inside the wild boar skin as she put on the animal skin dress.

Bai Di stood guard at the side, wanting to look but unable to. His heart felt anxious.

“How is it? Is it the right size?”

Lin Huanhuan slightly pulled back the hide, revealing the dress on her body.

The tiger print animal skin dress tightly wrapped around the small, exquisite body, exposing the round shoulders and straight legs. Her full chest was even more so squeezed until it seemed like it was on the verge of popping out.

Bai Di’s eyes instantly became extremely deep.

He couldn’t help reaching his hand out and poking her chest, his voice husky, “It’s so beautiful!”

Lin Huanhuan’s face flushed red instantly.

“You pervert!” She immediately wrapped her body tightly with the animal skin, revealing only half of her face, staring angrily at the male beastman in front of her.

Looking at her charming little appearance, Bai Di felt like something had hit him right in the chest.

His whole heart felt like it had melted.

His little female was really getting cuter and cuter!
