Cross- Roads: What To Choose Love Or Friendship

It was Sunday, mostly sleeping till late day for Hayley but she had to get up early because of Aaron. Aaron asked her out on date. It's not like they haven't hanging out together it's just that they do it after working hours just for an hour or so. Yesterday Aaron asked Hayley to go out on a full day date with him and Hayley agreed to it.

She got up early in the morning to dress up as Aaron didn't told her about the things they were going to do or places they going to visit she thought of keeping it simple yet effective. She wore a white floral summer dress with denim jacket over it with white canvas shoes, little bit of makeup and earrings and she was ready to go. Aaron picked her up and they started their journey Aaron still not telling her what they were going to do today. They stopped in front of a mall and Hayley raised one eyebrow in gesture of asking Aaron what's going on. "We are going to spend this day as a normal couple. I am just a doctor who got today's leave from work and going to spend a normal leave day with his girlfriend" Aaron replies. Hayley liked the idea, they had never done anything like this. She also wanted to feel how it's going to feel to be spending a normal day with Aaron like a normal couple.

Inside shopping mall they both went on shopping various things like clothes and accessories and shoes but like any normal couple they took things from sale and discounted section. It was Hayley's idea to do it that way and Aaron didn't protest he also want to experience these things. After a while they felt famished so Aaron advised to go to resturant but Hayley insisted on going to roadside stall. It's not first time for Aaron so he was okay with it. Around evening when they both thought of returning back Aaron said that they should go grocery shopping as he wants to cook dinner. They both went to grocery store and there Aaron push the cart and Hayley hooked her arm around his and started to fill the cart with the groceries. They both were in there own world completely oblivious from the effect their presence causing on people in the store. Everyone was looking at them and whispering that how adorable this couple looks and how perfectly they understand each other. Two teenager girls even came close to the couple to see if they wearing rings or not. When Hayley heard their conversation she blushed really hard.

They both came out of store and Aaron again started to drive but this time the route he took was not towards Hayley's house but rather than towards his. After reaching Aaron's place Hayley saw that whole mansion is empty, no one was there except her and Aaron. Hayley didn't mind that and they both proceed towards kitchen. Aaron told Hayley to go to guest room and freshen up and he will prepare dinner. Hayley nodded and left. Aaron wore the apron and started to prepare the ingredients. Hayley came in kitchen and witnessed an amazing scene. Aaron cooking and swaying with the music that he was humming. Hayley smiled to herself and made a short video of this moment and then she went towards him and back hugged him. Aaron was not surprised rather than a sweet smile spread on his face. He touched Hayley's hand without moving towards Hayley and asked "Are you feeling tired, Love". Hayley shook her head in no and let go of Aaron and went to stand beside him and said "let me help you" and took vegetables from his hands to wash and chop. Aaron smiled at her and they both went ahead talking and laughing and sharing about whatever happened in this week.

Uncle James housekeeper of Aaron's house entered house around 8 in the evening. He came back after meeting his daughter and her family. The moment he entered he heard Aaron's laughter and he was shocked to hear that sound. He went to kitchen straight and saw Aaron laughing while clutching his stomach because of Hayley was telling him some funny incident that happened last week in her workplace. It has been years since Uncle James has had seen Aaron laugh. He teared up and pinched himself "I must be dreaming".

Uncle James looked at Hayley and blessed her, he never had any doubt about Hayley being good for Aaron and even if he had any it vanished today after seeing Aaron being this happy. He was blessing the couple when Hayley noticed his presence. "Hello Uncle James, welcome back home" she said and smiled, Uncle James feels warm inside, "you should have dinner with us today Uncle" , Aaron said but when he saw Uncle James opening his mouth to protest he added " No excuses will be heard". That's how their ordinary date ended by three of them having dinner cooked by Aaron and enjoying eachother company, jokes and stories.
