“Letter of Guarantee:

I, Jiang Rui, guarantee I will not (arbitrarily) get into fights in the future.”

Originally, the content in the brackets was not there, but Wen Ming was soft and was worried he accumulated too much resentment and would have people seeking revenge from before, so he considerately allowed him to have a small fight in a motion for mercy outside of the rules.

He thought about it, and was actually hesitant, but in the end, added another line:

“Guarantee that I will not speak loudly with Wen Ming.”

Wen Ming placed the letter of guarantee onto the floor, picked up the big wolf paw of Jiang Rui’s prepared on the side, like holding up a giant brush for the big grandpa at the park, then heavily printed out a gigantic paw print on the letter of guarantee.

The letter of guarantee was in effect now. Wen Ming looked at this piece of paper where the paw print took up more space than its contents, and was finally satisfied.

Just before, he read the contents of the letter of guarantee word by word for it, but when it heard the second line, this wolf extended its neck and started awoo’ing.

“When haven’t you used a loud voice with me?” Wen Ming turned the question on him.

The big wolf froze, and turned into a small awoo awoo.

“I know you didn’t do it on purpose.” Wen Ming recalled that Jiang Rui did not understand roundabout words. He froze, and looked at the letter of guarantee in front of him, then guiltily admitted it, “Every time you use a loud voice, I would be scared.”

Some innate things were very hard to overcome, after all. Wen Ming had interacted with him for this long, and already made progress, however, that in which he was scared of, he was still scared.

Big wolf: Born as a wolf, I deeply apologize.

Jiang Rui then quieted down.

If Wen Ming put it straight, it would be able to understand. However, it stared at Wen Ming who said he would be afraid for a good while. Wen Ming asked it, “No objections, right?”

The giant wolf opened its mouth to try a few times. It was the first time Wen Ming saw that a wolf’s long mouth could actually make motion like a human making a “woo” shape.

The giant wolf let out a timid sound, “Woo.”

This action was very much like Zhang Fei embroidering flowers[1]. Wen Ming laughed out loud, “You don’t need to be that quiet.”

This wolf saw him laugh, and then Wen Ming’s face was licked once.

“Hey.” Wen Ming grumbled, and used its fur to wipe his face, then lightly coughed and stood up and stuck the letter of guarantee on the wall in the home.

……

A few days later, was the day Jiang Rui was to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Today was an overcast day, so Jiang Rui’s morning mood was heavier than usual. Right now, he was left with an clumsy left hand, and yesterday when he was shaving, he even nicked his own face.

“Let me do it.”

Today in the washroom, Wen Ming assertively took the razor in his hands.

His home only had a hand razor type. But during youth, the facial hair grows each day, so not shaving it was not good either.

He just had Jiang Rui sign the letter of guarantee before, so now, was the time to give a sweet date. Wen Ming felt he should help with this.

Your little Technician Strawberry is online now.

The shaving cream was cool and slippery, Wen Ming’s two arms were both lifted high, and his hands were in a place very close to Jiang Rui’s face.

Every time that defined hand moved, Jiang Rui’s deep-grey pupils would follow too.

His actions were skilled, the cool razor stuck close to the contours of Jiang Rui’s face and lightly and slowly moved, with the feeling strange and comfortable. Wen Ming’s gaze was serious, with his thin lips tightly pursed.

Jiang Rui could feel Wen Ming’s light breathing, just like his actions, calm and comfortable, endlessly making people at ease.

A big motion of ascending to Heaven right on the spot.

Because the experience was too comfortable, after Wen Ming finished shaving his facial hair for him, and both his hands left his face, Jiang Rui’s unhappiness was written all over.

Wen Ming was washing his hands underneath the sink faucet. When he lifted his head, he saw that face of Jiang Rui’s in the mirror, and jokingly said, “You are still this fierce, I should have known to write in the letter of guarantee: ‘guarantee not to hit Wen Ming’.”

Only on this matter, would Jiang Rui use a very absolute tone to respond, “I can’t possibly hit you.”

Wen Ming calmly asked back, “You’re sure?”

Jiang Rui had a bad feeling.

Wen Ming said, “That day we first met.” He lowered his head and pointed at his own rib, “You hit me here. I was in pain for a good few days.”

There was no sound.

Wen Ming lifted his head, and personally saw the whole process of Jiang Rui’s expression slowly fixing itself on the face, and believed he probably clearly recalled that day’s scene the two went through.

It could be said that it was still vivid to this day.

Wen Ming did not think Jiang Rui who committed many evils could have a day he’d acknowledge defeat, and felt it was quite refreshing.

Jiang Rui, as expected, wanted him to hit back. After being rejected, the expression on his face was still resentful, and went gloomy for a while there, then said to Wen Ming, “I won’t do it again.”

A situation that was able to make Jiang Rui upset was rare. He lacked experience in this area, so even if he wanted him to express more, he wouldn’t be able to express it either.

But Wen Ming believed him.

“Alright, wash your face now.” Wen Ming patted his shoulder, while he himself went out of the washroom, and went to the kitchen to see if their breakfast was ready yet or not.

Leaving Jiang Rui standing there by himself.

After Wen Ming went out, Jiang Rui turned around, faced the wall to his left, then his head lowered down, and starting bumping with a “bam bam bam”.

Why, why is there no medicine for regret.

Right now, this Jiang Rui only wanted to teleport back and beat that Jiang Rui from before.

I keel myself.

The more Jiang Rui recalled, the more his heart turned gloomy, and could only rely on using strength to hit the wall to relieve it. Up until a warm and soft hand suddenly appeared in between his forehead and the wall.

Time stopped. Jiang Rui did not dare to face it, and he froze for a good while, then stiffly turned his head to look.

Wen Ming who was shorter than him by a head was standing beside him, and let out a confused tone, “En?”

It was obvious it was on purpose. Wen Ming appeared here, and that pair of eyes looking at him carried a bit of ridicule.

Jiang Rui looked at his face for a few seconds.

Wen Ming stood here to laugh at him, but who knew the big guy in front of him would suddenly fall towards himself—— Jiang Rui did not go bumping into the wall anymore. His head upsettingly bumped on Wen Ming’s shoulder, and fell into the concave area below his neck.

It was fluffy, with warmth to it. It was Wen Ming’s turn to freeze in place.

He was at a loss, and only felt pushing him away was not a choice, but not pushing was not either.

And then he realized, he didn’t know why he was at a loss either. In these few seconds he froze, Jiang Rui already ate a few extra seconds more of tofu[2].

Wen Ming pulled the hair and lifted his head up, “Hurry up and wash your face!”

After he hurriedly went out of the washroom, Jiang Rui didn’t move immediately, and stood there in that position for a while, then turned around.

And brushed the teeth.

After the two finished breakfast, Wen Ming wanted to give Big Bear a call, and have him help watch Jiang Rui today too. Ever since that letter of guarantee came into effect, Big Bear became Wen Ming’s most powerful ears and eyes, and obediently helped watch Jiang Rui and give him reports.

Today’s Big Bear still devotedly expressed he would definitely listen to the group’s orders, and guaranteed to finish the task.

Wen Ming hung up, and lamented that lately, Big Bear really was an ease of burden. Although he did not know why.

When he first made this decision, he did not anticipate that Big Bear would be this cooperative. Who could think that this rebellious bear-bear was extremely cooperative, all against expectations.

It gave Wen Ming a kind of misconception that youth was not necessarily a rebellious phase, and made people really be at ease.

“Do you know why he is this obedient?” He asked Jiang Rui who was eating breakfast.

The answer was a bit beyond Wen Ming’s expectations.

Because Jiang Rui responded with, “He heard that big rabbits like you all immigrated from Russia.”

Wen Ming was more suspicious, “What about Russia?”

He was not Russian either.

Jiang Rui, “He has trauma towards Russians.”

Wen Ming, “……”

Fine, since this reasoning was this useful, from now on, this bunny rabbit is a pure Russian citizen.

“Bring an umbrella, it’s going to rain today.”

Before going out the door, he instructed Jiang Rui.
