Wen Ming massaged the back of his head and found the second-year office once again.

Zhou Shuo was drinking tea in the office with Lu Xiao waiting for him, and once he saw Wen Ming come in, he smiled, “Yo, the main act’s here.”

Wen Ming weakly smiled, and walked towards the two.

Lu Xiao was by the side smiling as he looked at him, and also nodded his head at Wen Ming, greeting him.

After not seeing each other for a period of time, when Wen Ming saw the other person’s sunny, breeze-like healing smile at this time, he received a series of comfort inside.

After being bothered by Jiang Rui, who knows if his hairstyle is messed up right now.

In consideration that this junior of his was a natural wolf-magnet, when Zhou Shuo got up to get the car keys, he casually asked him, “Nothing happened?”

Wen Ming met with his gaze and tried his best to be sincere, “No, I accidentally knocked [my head] a bit in the washroom just now.”

Zhou Shuo asked, “Knocked a bit?”

Wen Ming was certainly helpless, and said, “I really knocked it myself this time.”

Zhou Shuo did not suspect it, and also smiled, “Did you get used to your school’s kids washroom or something? How could you knock your head here too?”

“Do you need some ointment?” Lu Xiao asked Wen Ming.

Wen Ming waved his hands promptly, “No, I didn’t get hurt. Let’s leave now.”

That day, the three people went to the downtown area to eat hotpot together. Because they particularly chose a Friday to go out, and did not need to go work on Saturday tomorrow, they even drank a bit of alcohol.

Zhou Shuo long prepared and called a substitute driver already. At this time, his face was slightly red, and pulled at Wen Ming to have a heart(dumping)-to(out)-heart(grievances).

“Your nursery is the best.”

He made an echo for himself, “The best, the best, best.”

Wen Ming was still holding a cup in one hand, and he shook his head, “There are many things at the nursery too.”

Zhou Shuo put down his cup of alcohol sulkingly, “At least your students won’t hit teachers, right?”

Wen Ming recalled the small fists he took in before, and nodded his head saying, “They would too.”

Lu Xiao smiled asking, “Then at least, you guys won’t sign agreements, right?”

Wen Ming heard of it for the first time, “Agreement?”

Zhou Shuo explained, “Our school signed a 《Duty of Safety Agreement》 with some students, confirming that the school only has an educating relationship with them, as for the question of safety of others, they would not take responsibility.”

After finishing, he depressingly poured alcohol for himself.

Now that it was mentioned, it was all an evil.

Wen Ming was thinking of something, and a hand turned the cup in front of him. He could only comfort Zhou Shuo who had already drank quite a bit by now, “You’ve worked hard.”

Through the dense hot steam rising above the hotpot, his mind could not help but emerge with Jiang Rui’s face.

After a while, Wen Ming could not help but ask, “Is there no one who can manage him?”

“There is, juvenile reform.”

After finishing, Zhou Shuo gloomily said, “Aye, why are we talking about work again.” He let out a breath of stuffy air, and suddenly roused himself, then lifted his hand up and gave Wen Ming who was in a daze hit at the back of his head, “Are you raising fish(not drinking) at my gathering? Drink! ……”

Wen Ming did not know if he drank too much or not, but the head that he just hit in the afternoon was still beating with a buzz.

His face was still smiling, but when he drank, he would subconsciously reach out and touch the back of his head.

Oh no, it seemed to have swelled into a bump? ……Wen Ming got a bit nervous once he put down the cup, and could not help but touch it a bit more.

It was a characteristic of the occupation- people like them were most afraid of the body getting into accidents. Neither the body nor work could not be put down.

And yet, he was still a bit muddled, and the number of hands rubbing his head went from one to two.

The person sitting to his side gently called out, “The place bumped in the afternoon? Does it still hurt?”

He slowly turned his head and saw, in the warm-yellow light, the face of Lu Xiao smiling at him.

Wen Ming looked at him in a daze.

……

He long should have known to turn down today’s blind date.

Wen Ming drank alcohol last night, and since it was the weekend today, he woke up a bit later. However, he still had to go out for an appointment in the evening, it was that blind date that was postponed because of yesterday’s dinner.

The reason why he did not turn it down at the time was because Wen Ming considered that the blind date this time was set up between them a week before, and furthermore, the other party this time was clearly enthusiastic towards Wen Ming, and expressed they were willing to wait for him.

He also found it awkward to actually be too firm on the rejection as well. Thus, Wen Ming had to make up for it today.

Just before going out the door, he fixed his hair in the mirror, and once he felt it was okay, he then carried his keys out the door.

It was the key to the bike. This vehicle had been with Wen Ming for almost a year now, and accompanied him to and from work. Just as Wen Ming passed by a supermarket on the way, he even coincidentally encountered a student and a parent from his own class out buying things.

If it was the usual, Wen Ming could just go greet them face-to-face. However, the one he encountered today was not another person, but xiao’Yao.

It was the small child that needed Wen Ming to carry him the entire time when they went to the vegetable garden.

Xiao’Yao was a bit special. In the entire Starlight Nursery, only this child loved relying on him to the point it was well-known.

Wen Ming had to especially come down from the bike, and give a big friendly hug to xiao’Yao.

But today’s xiao’Yao behaved a bit differently from usual. He hugged onto Wen Ming, not willing to let go.

Even if in the very end, Wen Ming and xiao’Yao’s mother pulled this child away in a concerted effort, he was still stubbornly not willing to let go of Wen Ming’s clothes, while the obsidian-like round eyes quietly and obstinately stared at Wen Ming.

Xiao’Yao’s mother apologized to Wen Ming to the side.

Wen Ming hurriedly said it was no problem. After he got onto the bike again, he could not help but pay heed to xiao’Yao’s abnormality.

That was because this child’s beast form was a bit special. He was the legendary well-known desert black-footed cat.

Cute, aren’t they. They originate from assassins of the dessert. Battle maniacs among cats.

In the ranking of olfactory senses, all canidaes’ sense of smell were more sensitive than felines. The number one person Wen Ming knew with the greatest developed sense of smell was (goddammit) Jiang Rui, the second was xiao’Yao.

Yes, Wen Ming was worried whether or not xiao’Yao actually smelled something on him.

After separating with xiao’Yao and their mother, Wen Ming smoothly reached the restaurant they arranged to meet at.

Before stepping into the restaurant, he looked all around, everything was normal. Because today was a weekend, more people were eating out. A waitress then led Wen Ming to the side of a table.

The blind date for today did not arrive at this time yet.

After Wen Ming pulled the chair and sat down, he then let out a breath, and felt like he was too sensitive just now.

A bad attitude would influence the following quality of the entire blind date. Right now, it looked to be no problem.

Wen Ming was just as serious towards each blind date, he did not permit himself to be influenced.

Good thing the other party was only late for a bit.

While Wen Ming was looking at the menu, that person already came, led by the waitress. Wen Ming who was seated first prepared his smile, then lifted his head up to welcome the other person.

Jiang Rui, “Hi.”

The entire bunny(being) slowly solidified in the seat.

Ah. He’s having a nightmare right now.

Today, Jiang Rui was wearing casual clothes. He was tall, had broad shoulders, and his legs were also long- at a level that if he normally walked on the main street, he’d be met with suspicions from passing people as to why the painting technique this person was different from their own. Clearly higher than the next level.

Jiang Rui already naturally pulled out the chair with familiarity, and sat down across from Wen Ming.

What a realistic nightmare. Jiang Rui who was across even lifted the corners of his mouth at him and maliciously smiled.

And yet, the hand Wen Ming was holding the menu with burst with veins.

Though the one who could roar the best in the animal world had to include marmots (incorrect), very soon it would be them rabbits.

Wen Ming could not sit still any longer. He abandoned his good upbringing of culture and good manners. He did not even greet him, and stiffly tossed down a sentence at Jiang Rui, “What are you doing here?”

Jiang Rui leaned on the back of the chair, and naturally said, “What you’re here to do, I’m here to do.”

Wen Ming: ……

Jiang Rui seemed very interested, and tilted his head and asked Wen Ming, “What’s little Mr. Strawberry doing here?”

Wen Ming finally felt something was not right at this time.

The look of Jiang Rui right now expressed that he clearly did not know anything.

Recalling this person’s normal conduct. Wen Ming could not help but be worried, but still acted calm and said to Jiang Rui, “You sat in my friend’s seat.”

“Oh, him.” Jiang Rui thought that person Wen Ming spoke of, and could not help but sneer.

And then, he acted all proper and said to Wen Ming, “He had something and went back.”

Wen Ming froze.

Can it be that the bad thing he thought of actually happened?

Wen Ming hurriedly took his cellphone and contacted that mister who should have originally appeared here.

Jiang Rui’s style of conduct here was no different from a terrorist, Wen Ming himself already experienced it before. It was not like Jiang Rui would not do things like killing and robbing either.

If the other person actually had something happen to them, Wen Ming felt it would be all his responsibility.

He gripped his cellphone tight.

The other person did not accept the call, but very quickly, replied to his message, but the tone and attitude different from the passion from before, and only hastily said that there was something last minute and he had to head back first.

Wen Ming asked if everything was okay, and the other person only answered with a yes, then did not reply again.

Seems like nothing happened. And yet, Wen Ming who put down the cellphone still had some lingering fears.

Jiang Rui called out, “Little Mr. Strawberry.”

Wen Ming held it and held it in again. Since they were in a public place, he lowered his voice to yell at him, “Jiang Rui!”

Jiang Rui smiled, “Don’t be angry.”

He flipped his hand, and took out a small bouquet of flowers like magic.

These flowers appearing here was so fake it provoked thought. With one look, Wen Ming knew what happened.

Angering, isn’t it. Not only did he cut the person off, he even took the greeting present that man he did not even see was going to gift Wen Ming with and played with it.

Jiang Rui pushed the bouquet to the side of Wen Ming’s face, and smiled handsomely and frivously, revealing ghastly white canines at Wen Ming, “Flowers, for you.”

As though this was something fun.

Wen Ming only looked at his eyes, and asked, “Why are you following me?”

Xiao’Yao already reminded him, it was he who had been too ignorant and reckless.

“You found out?” Jiang Rui randomly cast the flowers aside, and with his pair of eyes still blunt without a hint of apology, and said, “I was only passing by and encountered them by chance.”

The scope of this “encounter by chance” was up for discussion. After all, he was someone who could smell Wen Ming’s scent from several streets away and find the nursery school.

Wen Ming did not know if he could trust his words.

Wen Ming placed his most stern attitude forward, “Don’t follow me again.”

Jiang Rui expressed, “Oh.”

Wen Ming held in his anger, “Why must you follow me?”

Jiang Rui pondered over it seriously, “I like [to].”

Wen Ming, “You like?”

Jiang Rui, “Like rabbits.”

Jiang Rui, “Rabbits, smell great.”

Wen Ming agreed.

However, he also angrily replied, “But I don’t like wolves.”

Jiang Rui, “Wolves, cute.”

Wen Ming was in the midst of holding it in.

He wanted to say he was not a racist. However, wolves, reeked.

One hand of Jiang Rui’s was propped on the chin, and he got closer to look at Wen Ming’s face,as though at a toy that suited to their tastes that he would not be bored of.

He did not say anything the entire time, but this kind of heavy gaze made Wen Ming feel uneasy.

However, he could not act weak at this kind of time, thus, straightened his neck, and met gazes with that pair of wolf eyes.

The colour of Jiang Rui’s pupil were very special- a murky colour so deep it was like the clouds and fog, yet also like a obscure and deep sea, unable to see through and understand.

And yet at this time, Wen Ming saw an unconcealable feeling of fondness in that pair of deep-grey eyes.

The more Jiang Rui looked on, that hint of a smile on the corner of the lips would be more genuine.

“Wolves naturally like rabbits.” He said.

Take a gander at this nefarious tone. Wen Ming moved away his gaze.

It’s not that this little strawberry here doesn’t trust you, but would you dare say these words to those spicy rabbit heads you ate before?

Looks like it was a fruitless discussion again, Wen Ming was also tired inside.

He directly stood up from the chair, and did not look at Jiang Rui, then carried his own things and walked outside. He said, “I’m going home right now, don’t follow me again.”

After he got up, Jiang Rui also got up too, and followed Wen Ming out of the restaurant.

Wen Ming was extremely not used to his side suddenly having this big of a fellow standing around. Like a bodyguard, that type that would not take even one step away.

Or perhaps it should be said, he was still not accustomed to being the shorter one. Especially in front of Jiang Rui- this made him feel a grievance of being oppressed by someone.

So why was Jiang Rui still following him.

Wen Ming grabbed the bike he stopped outside, and tried his best to ignore the big fellow following on the side.

Really, he was thinking, why not just directly bring Jiang Rui like this to the police station and be done with.

Wen Ming actually considered the possibility. He was holding the bike without looking around and walking forward, then felt his face was daringly being touched by a hand.

Jiang Rui had finally put his hands on this face he stared at for a very long time today.

Wen Ming finally could not take the harassment and stopped. He could not hold it in any longer, and flashed his neat white teeth in intimidation at this bully.

He already bit Jiang Rui two times, he did not mind biting it a third!

But that rebellious hand did not have a sliver of intent of leaving. Jiang Rui smiled at him.

This feeling was practically like, Wen Ming’s actions was within his expectation.

Jiang Rui bent his forefinger, and extended it to the side of Wen Ming’s lips.

And yet, this time was different from the last time Wen Ming bit him. Last time, Jiang Rui did not mind him biting, but this time, he wanted Wen Ming to bite him on purpose.

Wen Ming originally thought this was a trick, but whether it was or not, Jiang Rui was serious.

Jiang Rui did not lower his head, but lowered his eyes to look at Wen Ming. The crow-black eyelashes also pressed down along with the action, making his gaze on Wen Ming all serious and proper.

“Bite.” Jiang Rui instigated.

Wen Ming maintained that action and looked at him. Jiang Rui’s expression was still a bit nonchalant, and his tone was also very ordinary.

He did not have that kind smile when he teased Wen Ming, nor was he angry, practically like his goal was to simply have Wen Ming bite for a bit.

Even the finger placed by Wen Ming’s lips was extremely stable, like he was afraid he would miss.

The finger lightly pressed onto his lower lip. Perhaps seeing that he did not move for such a long time, Jiang Rui lost his patience, and squeezed his finger in between his lips.

Wen Ming got his head retreated a bit from being poked. Jiang Rui’s finger got dampened with a bit of the moisture in his mouth.

That hand still did not move.

But where would there be a person willing to let themselves be bit.

Yet Wen Ming stood there looking at Jiang Rui, and went in a daze with his feelings complicated.

What to do, he seems to know what Jiang Rui meant.

Because he was accustomed to dealing with small children, sometimes, he would instead easily understand the logic to some crude and simple actions.

Jiang Rui was accustomed with doing things his own way, so Jiang Rui lacked the empathy that normal people would have. He didn’t even have the perception of doing something wrong, and even more so lacked the concept of apologizing. His body carried a natural savage beast’s nature, not concealing his desires either.

However, because he bumped his head and got angry yesterday, Jiang Rui was letting him bite back.

This was probably the first time Jiang Rui used this method to take care and solve a problem. It was not using a fist that benefited in every way, but to open the fist up and let him bite it.

Using the logic of Jiang Rui’s world to explain, this action was equal to Wen Ming throwing a big temper after losing from the exchange last time, and thus today, Jiang Rui sent himself right to his door to give him a chance for revenge.

In his logic, once he lets Wen Ming bite back, they would be clear.

Wen Ming always thought he was only a rabbit-inhaling tool for Jiang Rui. However, right now, he was willing to let him bite back.

He then lifted his head up to look into Jiang Rui’s eyes. As though through this grey, foggy window, he got in contact with Jiang Rui’s unfamiliar and violent world.
