DYLAN ETHANIELs POV

"Is this true, Alex? Ethan?" I heard Rachel asked us while we're still looking at the bulletin board in disbelief. Seriously? How did they know about this? I mean, yes… They approved of me as Chloe's fiance last week at the hospital but we just talked about this matter last night together with her family and now, we have a rumor like this? Hmmm…? Wait, there is something wrong here. I can feel it… I was about to talk to Chloe right now when I suddenly saw her hands trembling as she was in a daze. Chloe… My hand suddenly move on it's own and held her hand gently that made her turn to look at me in shock. She really look so shock right now. I'm still looking at her while holding her hand as I smiled at her. Don't worry, Chloe… I'll handle this.

"Listen everyone..." I said before I returned my attention to the people around us as I saw in my peripheral vision that Chloe's face became pale right now… She's really worried right now.

"I have something very important to announce." I said while still looking at them as I hold Chloe's hand tightly.

"Dylan, what are you doing?" I heard Chloe called me as she tugs my uniform. I just took a deep sigh before I turn to look at her and saw her looking at me with so much nervousness. Don't worry, Chloe. I will definitely protect you just as I promise your father.

"To answer this rumor…" I said before I returned my attention to everyone who are looking at us patiently as if they're really wanted to hear our answer about this rumor.

"Stop it… Dylan…" I heard Chloe said as she whispered at me like almost begging me but I didn't listen to her because I have to do this before this issue reached the School Head.

"We're still in a relationship right now." I said while still holding her hand tightly. I couldn't help myself but took a deep breath as I can still feel their gazes are still focus on us.

"S-so this all just a rumor? You two are not really engaged?" I heard Rachel asked in shock and confusion. Hmmm…? Well...

"Well, that's..." I said because I can't just deny nor confirm things before uncle make his move first. I just took a deep sighed once again. This is so hard. What should I say?

"What was that supposed to mean, La Flair? Will you please get straight to the point already?" I heard Marvin asked a bit irritatedly at me that made me just sighed once again.

"What I'm trying to say is… Yes, we are not engaged yet but that doesn't mean I'm not going to propose to her in the future, right?" I said seriously. And that's all I can say right now because if I wasn't mistaken… Yes, they already approved of our relationship but we're still not officially engaged, right?

"Oh… I get your point." I heard Marvin said as I saw everyone nodded their heads as well. Geez… Thank goodness they finally believe me...

"So for now… That's all we have to say. If you'll excuse us…" I said before I turn to look at Chloe who's simply looking at me with a worried face. I just smiled at her and held her hand tightly.

"Let's go now, Chloe…" I said before I gently pulled her to walk along with me as we both started to walk away from those crowds. Honestly speaking, this issue doesn't totally shocked me because I know that Chloe is not a simple girl who has a simple life. She is the only daughter of the Ramirez Family so it does make sense that these kind of rumors will suddenly appeared especially when we officially announces our relationship publicly before but...I didn't expect this to happen so early.

"Dylan..." My attention was diverted when I heard Chloe suddenly calls me that made me turned to look at her. What's wrong?

"What?" I asked while still looking at her worried face. What is she still worried about? I already solved it, right? Or was she thinking of something else? I was about to ask her what was she thinking when I suddenly saw her took a deep sigh before shaking her head.

"Nothing…" Chloe suddenly said when I suddenly felt she held my hand tightly as well as we walk towards our classroom. I don't know why but I can feel like Chloe is still worries about something… But what exactly was that? We are now here at our classroom while we're waiting for our teacher to come in but until now, I could still feel everybody's gazed on us that made me just sighed. Seriously? Are they still not satisfied on what I had said a while ago? I just shrugged my shoulders before I returned my attention to Chloe who's just simply sitting here beside me silently.

"Chloe, are you really okay?" I asked that brought her back to her senses before she turns to look at me with a blank expression.

"I'm fine…" Chloe simply said that made me even more worried. Really? But why can't I believe her?

"Really? But you don't look fine to me right now, Chloe because ever since we arrived at school a while ago and saw that news about us... You've been acting so strange already." I said seriously while still looking at her and observing her. I don't know what's running on your mind right now, Chloe but I promised your brother that I will protect you no matter what happens so whatever negative thoughts you are thinking right now… I will definitely make sure that I will stop you from doing those things.

"What's on your mind right now, Chloe?" I asked once again as I saw her looking at me before she took a deep sigh and leaned her back on her chair.

"Let me guess… You're worried that I might be thinking of doing what I did when Christian hurt me, are you?" I heard Chloe suddenly asked as she crossed her arms on her c.h.e.s.t that caught me off guard. Huh?

"How did you know?" I asked in surprised. I didn't expect her to ask me that… I saw her took a deep sigh once again before getting a little bit closer to me.

"Because you look at me as if you're worried about something like that…" I heard Chloe said once again while still looking at me seriously? Oh, really? But am I wrong?

"Why? Am I wrong?" I asked her seriously that made her just sigh before slowly nodded her head.

"Yes." She simply said. Oh really?

"Then what exactly were you thinking?" I asked. She can't blame me for not worrying, you know… After all, she already did it once and it might happen again if someone triggers her, right? I'm just making sure...

"I was just thinking about… Ahm... Where did that rumor came from?" I heard Chloe asked in a low voice that only the two of us can hear. Oh that...

"Chloe, just like what you're always saying… You are the only daughter of the Ramirez Family so it's pretty normal for me that others might suspect us to be engaged right now because we've once announced that we have a relationship before, right?" I told her that made her just sighed. Why?

"Yeah, I know but---" I heard Chloe said but was interrupted when we suddenly heard a very familiar voice coming from behind us.

"But I think that's fine, Alex. After all, Ethan already explain everything so stop worrying too much." We heard she said as we both turned to look at our back and saw these people eavesdropping on us!

"Rachel! Marvin!" We both said in unison that caught many people's attention but we didn't pay attention to them as Chloe and I continue to look at these two who are just smiling at us.

"Hello to the two of you." They said in unison. What's with that smile!?

"H-how long have you guys been there?" I asked them as I startled. What are they doing there anyway? Are they really planned on eavesdropping just now? I saw them look at each other before they returned their gazed at us and smiled. What's with that?

"Just now… Right, Marvin?" I heard Rachel said before looking back at Marvin. Hmmm…? Why do I smell something like they are hiding something?

"Yes." Marvin said while still smiling playfully at me. I just sighed in relief. Anyways, I'm just grateful that we didn't mention anything about our deal and our fake relationship or else, we will definitely get find out by these two. I just took a deep breath once again. We have to be careful next time especially when we were talking at school.

"Oh by the way… How are you now, Alex?" Rachel suddenly asked before sitting on Nathan's sit. Oh, by the way, Nathan is not yet here and I don't know if he's going to attend today's class anyway because I heard from Xander that Nathan is still in their province for some emergency purpose, I think.

"H-huh?" I heard Chloe startled. Oh no… Calm down, Chloe or they will suspect that we're hiding something from them.

"Are you really sure that you're fit to go to school now?" I heard Rachel asked worriedly that made Chloe sighed in relief.

"Ah, yes. I'm fine now. Thanks, Rachel." I heard Chloe said as she smiled at her friend that made me smile also. It's really good for her to have Rachel by her side...

"Hey, bro..." I was brought back in my senses when I suddenly heard Marvin whispered at me. What's with this guy?

"What?" I asked irritatedly because what he did makes me really irritated just now.

"Are you really saying the truth?" I heard Marvin suddenly asked that made me furrowed my brows. What?

"Huh?" I asked in confusion. What is this guy saying? I don't get him...

"You know what I mean… So, what's the real score to the both of you?" I heard Marvin asked that made me stopped. What?

"I already made this clear to everyone a while ago, right? So stop asking already." I said irritatedly. Geez. This guy really annoys me sometimes. Our attention was suddenly diverted when we heard our other female classmates suddenly squealed.

"Kyaaaa!" They said that caught our attention.

"What's that?" I heard Chloe suddenly asked. Yeah, what's that?

"Hmmm…? I don't know. Let's take a look, Alex." I heard Rachel said before she drags Chloe along with her. I just sighed. Girls really likes to gossip...though, I think Chloe is different.

"Let's go too, Ethan." My attention was suddenly diverted to Marvin when he says that and drags me towards the door.

"W-what are you doing, Marvin?" I asked him irritatedly but he just ignores me until we reach the door. I just sighed. I really can't help but hate this person sometimes...

"Oh my…" I heard someone suddenly said. I really don't like things like this. I was about to go back on my seat when one question came from one of our female classmates suddenly caught my attention.

"Are the both of you really Ethan's siblings?" I heard one of our classmates said. Huh? What?

"Yes, we are." Wait… That voice sounds like Darryl.

"Kyaaaa! You took look so adorable…! What are your names?" I heard one of our classmates said as I started to get closer to them and the moment I get there… I saw my siblings...wearing the same uniform with us!?

"Brother! Sister Chloe!" They both said in unison that made me turn to look at my side and saw Chloe standing there. Oh, I didn't notice her.

"Darryl? Diane?" I heard Chloe asked in shocked as well.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked them as I returned my attention to them once again. And why are they wearing the same uniform as us? I saw them look at each other before they returned their attention to us while still smiling at us.

"Because mama and papa transferred us here too!" They both said in unison. Huh? What?

"Mama and...papa?" I asked in confusion. Who's papa and mama?

"Sister Chloe's parents." They both said in unison that surprised not only us but also...

"WHAT!?" Almost all of our classmates said in unison that made the two of look at each other before we both sighed. No way… We just solve a rumor just a while ago and now...we're going to have a new rumor again!?
