I just took a deep sigh as I continue to walk alone towards the school library to do some research about my assignment… Yes, I'm alone right now because my crazy cousin is absent today while my brother is still busy with something that I don't even know what it is… And as of, Dylan… He becomes so busy ever since he became part of the Archery Club… Well, it's not that I'm lonely without them by my side but most likely, I'm still worried if those people around us truly believed in our act. I just sighed once again. By the way, it's been three days since Dylan and Nathan transferred here at St. Alfonse Academy and to be honest, even though all the students and teachers here already heard the news about Dylan and I having a relationship… There are still a lot of girls who keeps on approaching him especially when I wasn't around. Oh well, I can't blame them either because Dylan is really handsome though no one is more handsome in my eyes other than my dearest Christian…

"Hi, Alex!" My attention was diverted when I suddenly saw my best friend, Rachel here at the library.

"What are you doing here? I thought Archery Club has a meeting today?" I asked Rachel. Yes, that's right… Rachel is also in the Archery Club and believe it or not, she is the Vice Captain. Hahaha! But seriously, this girl is really amazing.

"Yes, that's right and that's also the reason why we are here because we have to discuss about something." Rachel said as I saw her holding some books related to archery. Oh ~ I wonder what's that all about...

"So, Dylan is also here?" I asked that shocked me as well. Oh, why did I suddenly asked that to her? I was about to take back what I just asked when I suddenly saw her smiled playfully at me. Oh geez. She misunderstood.

"Of course!" Rachel said happily that made me just sighed. She really misunderstood...

"Why? Do you miss him already?" I heard Rachel suddenly asked once again that shocked me. What!?

"Oh come on. Don't be like that, Alex… You can be honest with me, okay?" Rachel said once again while still smiling at me and suddenly winked at me. Huh!?

"You're crazy, Rachel..." That's the only thing I said as I shrugged my shoulders before I started to walk again when this girl suddenly stops me.

"Just wait a second, Alex…" I heard Rachel said that made me frowned.

"What is it?" I asked but she just simply gave me that genuine smile. I just sighed. Oh geez. She really knows how to calm me down...

"So do you really miss him? Hey, please tell me, Alex… Please?" Rachel asked while holding my hand that made me sighed. Okay, fine… I think I don't have any more choice...

"Fine. I miss him." I said that made her smile so widely. I just sighed again. Let me clear one thing, I don't miss him, okay? This is just an act, that's all...

"Oh my gosh! Should I tell him that instead, Alex?" I heard Rachel suddenly said that made me returned my attention to her again. What!?

"What? Don't! Don't you dare, Rachel..." I said seriously at her that made her chuckled. Seriously… She is the only person aside from my brother and of course, Christian who can make fun of me...

"Hahaha! Just kidding. Anyways, I need to go back now, Alex… See you later." I heard Rachel said before she bids farewell.

"Yes. See you later, Rachel." I said as I smiled at her and bid her farewell before I started to walk on the history shelves to look for that book. I know that it's just here. I just saw it the last time I came here. I'm still looking for that history book when I felt my phone suddenly vibrated on my skirts pocket. I simply get it and look at the caller. Oh, why is brother calling me right now? This is rare...

"Hello?" I answered politely as I continue to look for that book. Oh come on! I really need that book. Where is it? Could it be that someone already borrowed it. I hope not...

[Are you at school now?] I heard my brother suddenly asked and based on his voice… He sounds so serious right now. What's wrong with him?

"Of course, where do you think I am right now, brother?" I asked. I don't know why but I have a feeling that brother is going to say something very important because brother's voice is too stern and serious right now...

[Then are you with Dylan right now?] I heard my brother asked that made me shake my head as I divert my attention outside of the window.

"No. There's a meeting in the Archery Club now. Why do you ask, brother?" I asked again. The sky looks so calm and beautiful right now… I wonder what Christian is doing right now...

[Can you come down for a while? I'm at the School Garden.] My brother said as he avoided my question. Huh? What is he doing here?

"Why? Did something happen?" I asked in shock. What is he doing here all of a sudden?

[You will find out once you get here. I will be waiting for you, Chloe.] I heard my brother said seriously before he ended the phone call. What? Wait, this is the first time my brother ended the phone call first because I usually did that to him. Hmmm…? I have a bad feeling about this. I just took a deep sigh as I returned my phone in my skirt's pocket before I started to walk and leave the library. I wonder what's wrong with my brother… Is he all right? I don't know why but I suddenly felt anxious for some reason…

I just came here at the School Garden and I saw him immediately because he's not wearing a school uniform but instead, he is wearing a suit. Oh, so that's the reason why almost all the students I passed by a while ago was blushing while talking about him. I couldn't help myself but smile. Brother is so formal today that made him even more handsome.

"Brother, is everything alright? Why do you sound so serious when you called me? Did something happen?" I asked as soon as I get closer to him. I saw him looked at me before he tapped the other side of where he is sitting right now. I simply nod at him before I sat beside him.

"For the first one you asked… Yes, I'm just fine though I feel so tired because of work and as for your second and third questions…" My brother said so seriously before he turned to look at me once again with those serious golden eyes of him.

"Yes, something really happened." I heard my brother said that made me nervous. So I was right...

"What is it?" I asked as I saw him took a deep breath before he leans on the bench and look at the sky. What? What is it, brother?

"Based on our combined research and investigation… That Shinichirou Martinez is really a dangerous person. He had killed so many people already..." Brother said so seriously that made my heart skip a beat. What?

"What?" I asked in disbelief. That person who has almost the same age as me already killed many people!? H-how come…?

"Yes but unfortunately, those are just accusations because none of the victims' family had ever tried to speak about that neither file a case against him…" I heard my brother said that made me nervous. Is that really the kind of person he is? I mean, I know that he's a despicable man but… It never crossed my mind that he is someone like that...

"I hate to say this but I'm afraid that we can't bring this topic up to our parents now without any proof in our hands so I think it will take more time to gather more information about that…" I heard my brother said seriously that made me stopped. W-what?

"And because you are still his fiance… You have to be careful from now on, Chloe because we can't afford if something bad happens to you…" My brother said as he looks at me seriously and hold my hands tightly that made me just nod while my heart is still beating so fast right now.

"I know… Thanks for informing me, brother…" I said as I tried to calm myself and clear my mind. Relax, Chloe… Don't panic… You have to think of a way to stay away from him if ever you encountered him so suddenly...

"But Dylan and I can't always be by your side that's why I want you to meet your new bodyguard." My brother said as he continued what he was saying but wait… What was that? Did I heard it just right?

"Wait, what?" I asked in surprised. A bodyguard? I saw my brother seriously nod at me before I saw him raised his hand up as he calls that person.

"Come here." My brother said in an authoritative voice as I saw that person appeared behind that tree trunk. Wait, are you serious? As he gets closer to me, I couldn't stop myself from being so shocked.

"From now on, he will become your personal bodyguard, Chloe." My brother said seriously as this guy finally reached our spot. N-no way...

"A-are you serious, brother? Isaiah will become my personal bodyguard?" I asked in disbelief. Yes, you heard it right. Isaiah, the one who kidnaps and helped me escaped that time is also the one who will become my bodyguard!? Is this for real!?

"Do you think I'm joking? Of course, I am." My brother simply said that made me furrowed my brow.

"But brother he is the one who kidnaps me… Are you really sure about this?" I asked. How can he even trusted him that easily? Did he just forgot what this person had done to me? I saw him just nod while looking at me straight in the eyes. What!?

"I know that but we already talked about that so don't worry yourself about that too much." My brother said. No! You don't get my point, brother!

"Are you crazy!? He might be lying to you. He might betray you… He might betray us sooner or late---" I said but was interrupted when brother suddenly speaks again but this time with an authoritative voice.

"He can't definitely do that, Chloe." My brother said that made me sighed. Geez. How can I convince my brother to stop this even if I don't mentioned to him that Isaiah and Shinichirou Martinez are best friends!?

"And how sure you are, brother?" I asked once again. Honestly, I still don't trust this guy after all what he had done to me before but I can't let my brother also know that Isaiah and Shinichirou Martinez are best friends because if I did that… I don't know what might happen to Isaiah and also to that Shinichirou Martinez...

"Because I have my own ways, Chloe…" I heard my brother said confidently. No… You really don't get it. Geez! This is so frustrating!

"Remember… I'm still a Ramirez, Chloe and I won't take no for an answer." My brother said so confidently that made me just sighed.

"What if he betray us?" I asked again as I suddenly saw Isaiah suddenly walk a bit closer to us.

"I already made a vow to the Ramirez Family to protect and serve only you, Lady Chloe." Isaiah said politely that made me stopped. Oh gosh. He's so formal!

"A-are you serious?" I asked in disbelief. Wait, did he just said...my family? As in, he already talked to our parents about this?

"Yes. Of course, he is. Our parents already know about this except for Shinichirou Martinez's case so you don't have any other choice but to accept it." My brother said that made me returned my attention to him. What? Really? But knowing dad… He won't just hired anyone without checking their backgrounds so… Does that mean we can really trust him? I was brought back in my senses when I suddenly felt my brother gently c.a.r.e.s.sing my hair.

"Listen to me, Chloe..." I heard my brother said as he put both of his hands on my shoulders and look at me straight in the eyes.

"We're doing this for you safety. We can't afford to lose you, Chloe..." I heard my brother said as he looks at me with those gentle eyes of him. Brother. I just nod at him as I saw him smiled at before he hugged me and stood up.

"I leave the two of you now…" My brother suddenly said that made shocked me. What!?

"Brother, you're leaving already?" I asked as I stood up as well and saw my brother simply just nod while smiling at me now. No way… Are you really leaving me with this guy alone?

"Yes because I still need to do something." My brother said. What!? Is that even more important than me? I was about to speak once again when brother speaks first.

"Don't worry, Chloe… No one can ever know that Isaiah is your personal bodyguard." My brother said that made me confused.

"Huh? How can that be possible?" I asked that made my brother just smiled before he messed up my hair.

"I already gave Isaiah an order so you don't have to worry too much, okay? I really have to go now. I'm sorry, Chloe…" I heard my brother said as he looked at his wrist watch. I just nod at him.

"Take care, brother." I said as I kissed him on his cheeks.

"I will. You two as well and you, Isaiah… Take care of my sister." I heard my brother said with full of authority that made Isaiah just nod before he bowed his head.

"I will, Young Master…" We heard Isaiah said before my brother bids farewell once again and finally leaves… Leaving me with this guy alone who kidnaps me and my fiance's best friend who plans everything to kidnapped me also happens to be a killer!
