"We should reach Yao Kingdom in an hour." Wei Zhan murmured.

Ten minutes had already passed since they entered the portal. The inside of it wasn't as bright as the entrace. It was dark. The kind of dark that will make one question their sanity. Silence everywhere.

They had to keep walking foward to reach the Yao Kingdom.

Their world was very different from the world they were stuck in for these years. It was ancient and primitive with zero technology and electronic stuff. Besides, people there didn't even need things like these. They had innate powers to help them with things.

At the age of twelve they would unlock their powers and afterwards, they will keep getting stronger by the help of cultivation or meditation.

When their powers first unlock, the stage is called The Unlock. And then there are five different stages with three levels of power in each.

The first stage is the Follower stage. So, when an unlocked person breaks through, they reach Follower stage level 1. And then there is level 2 and 3 before breaking through to the Disciple Stage. After the Disciple stage is Head Disciple Stage and then comes the Master Stage. The last stage is the Grandmaster Stage which is a myth in Yao Kingdom. No one ever broke through to Grandmaster stage. Only the elders of the kingdoms heard rumours of it hundreds of years ago.

It was quite normal for a 15 year old to break through to Follower stage level 3. Taking three years to break through each level. Their lifespans were notably longer as well.

The moment Wei Zhan, Wang Zi and Dou Xi will enter their world, they will return to their original age. It was weird, but that's how it worked.

In reality, Wei Zhan was only an eighteen year old. Whereas, Wang Zi was only twenty three. And Dou Xi twenty one.

Their powers came from the energy particles in the air or surroundings. The particles would enter the pores of their body whenever they cultivated. The particles would then get stored in their storing pond. As the pond gets filled, one will have a breakthrough and reach the next level or stage. The smaller the pond, the faster the breakthrough. But that didn't mean that a bigger pond was bad. Not at all. The bigger the pond, the more energy is stored and the more power. The only downside was the kind of time and hard work it took.

For Wei Zhan, this was the case. Her pond was like a whole vast sea!

Soon an hour passed by, Wei Zhan, Wang Zi and Dou Xi were a step away from the exit. So close that they could see the gateway.

Together they stepped out of the gateway and immediately it disappeared, like it was never there at the first place.

A field similar to the field they saw in that world was in front of them. But no dent or smell of petrol anywhere. Faint fragrance of flowers and the familiar smell of spiritual power particles entered their nostrils.

The smell alone was enough to make them feel better after the hard hour long journey. Although it was only as hour, there was no spiritual particles in the path. And to them these particles were like oxygen.

The field in front of them was green and had little wild flowers growing everywhere. The scenery was bright and healthy unlike the world they were stuck in. There were no cars, taxis, buses or high rise buildings.

"This emperor feels offended how those mortals call our way of living ancient. Can they create a palace with a clap?" Wang Zi scoffed, clearly proud of his own world.

"That is because they don't have powers like us. They can't cultivate, that's why they improved their technology to help themselves." Wei Zhan shrugged.

Indeed, the setting of their world was similar to ancient Huaxia. Beyond the field, there were wooden dwellings, and even beyond that a palace could be seen. From this distance, people could be seen walking around in the town wearing robes or clothings similar to the ones people in ancient Huaxia used to wear.

The robes on the three of them were similar too.

The scarlet robe on Wei Zhan was of the top quality as it was created by magic and no, it wouldn't vanish if her powers were ever depleted. It's permanent.

The red on her jade like skin looked akin to rose petal swimming in a pool of milk. Her complexion was even more beautiful more as she started absorbing the spirit particles. Her deep eyes were clearer, and her skin became even smoother.

Just beside her, Wang Zi's black robe looked like the ones that lords wore. Not the white lotus like good ones. But the evil lords. Wang Zi had always been exceptionally good looking. He could be said to be the most good looking being in their world.

The black robe on him was like a poisonous black snake crawling and preying on a prey on clear white winter snow.

Dou Xi stood there behind them adorned in his silver uniform. It couldn't be called a uniform as it was very extravagant. But it made his manly features look even more manly!

Talking about snake, a little boy looking around 4 to 5 years of age suddenly fell in front of Wei Zhan was about to hug her when a hand swatted him away.

"Mistress, how could you leave Xiao He and go? I missed you so much. I looked for you all around the world 23 times in this time." The little boy was sobbing so badly.

Wei Zhan's face lost the previous coldness and was gentle now.

"I'm sorry, Xiao He. This won't happen again." Wei Zhan comforted the little guy by patting his head.

"Mistress, I still haven't avenged you because I wanted you to come back yourself and punish her!" Xiao He said as he wiped his face and looked resilient!

This little guy looked like a bun. Chubby cheeks, tall nose, pink lips and slanted- snake like eyes. Oh, a part of his arms had snake like white scales.
