Mo Beichen returned to the study to pick up the books that Xia Weilan dropped all over the place. His gaze landed on the books and noticed that they were Business Management books. Xia Weilan posted some post-it notes on them and highlighted the important points. She even put question marks on areas that she was unsure about and she wrote ‘pending research’.

Mo Beichen blinked his eyes and he stacked the books neatly at a corner of the desk. When Xia Weilan took up jewelry design, she was already putting a lot of effort into it. He didn’t expect that she had suddenly taken up Management of Business as well and she poured even more effort into it.

The next day.

Xia Weilan got out of the car with full of energy. She carried a few books in her arms and walked toward the school.
“Xia Weilan.” Rui Li caught up with her from behind and she had the same books as Xia Weilan in her hands. Today, Rui Li was still wearing a unisex outfit.

“Has your leg recovered?” Rui Li lowered her head and looked at her long skirt.

“Thanks to the magical medicated oil. I heard that it was from the military. It was really good.” Xia Weilan had forgotten about yesterday’s pain.

The two of them walked toward the classroom. The first lesson in the morning was Business Management class.

“I heard that the school had invited a famous entrepreneur from Beijing to conduct the lecture today.” 

“I also heard that the lecturer today had a high net worth. The school’s new library was donated by him.”

“Moreover, this is a public lecture. Anyone from the school can join. It’s first come first serve. Hehe. I wanted to see with my own eyes what that entrepreneur looks like.”

“I want to see it too.”

The few young ladies chatted excitedly and totally ignored the others around them. At the moment, there were still students who came in but walked out with their heads hung low as there was already no seat left.

At nine am sharp, the principal stood on the stage and made the announcement personally, “Today, we are honored to be able to invite the famous entrepreneur, Mr Mo Beichen to conduct a lecture to everyone. Please give a big round of applause.”

Xia Weilan who lowered her head playing with her phone immediately lifted her head to gaze at the man who was walking toward the lectern. The voices of the girls discussing excitedly ringed beside her ears. 

But Xia Weilan couldn’t hear a single word as her eyes were fixed on that delicate slender figure. The man had one hand in the pocket and his refined suit was perfectly tailored and he had a tall and straight figure. He took the microphone in his hand and lifted his head. He cast a glance around the room and the audience immediately went dead silent.

“I am very honored to be here today to share some of my knowledge with all the fellow students…” Mo Beichen’s deep voice was delivered to all corners of the room. 

He spoke as he swept a glance across the audience and his glance eventually fixed at the seat on the corner for a few seconds before he continued speaking. Xia Weilan’s eyes met with his and she obviously saw Mo Beichen’s eyes flashed with a smile.

“My gosh. Is Mo Beichen looking at me just now?” The voice of a love-struck girl was heard beside her.

“He’s obviously looking at me.” Another girl muttered.

Rui Li lifted the corner of her lips to form an arch. She held her jaw with a hand and listened attentively. One could skip classes delivered by another person. But it was extremely rare for Mo Beichen to conduct a lecture. Anyone would benefit after attending his lecture. 

Xia Weilan gradually calmed down her excitement and raised her pen to jot down some notes. Her eyes brightened as she listened to the lecture. 

She noticed that Mo Beichen’s lecture was coincidentally on topics that she was uncertain about. After a few explanations from him, she instantly grasped the insight and everything had become clear. 

Mo Beichen checked on Xia Weilan’s reaction from time to time. He was very satisfied with her focused expression. The class was over very quickly. Mo Beichen was led outside the classroom by a few school leaders.

“Wow. Mo Beichen is so handsome. I wanted to have an ‘accidental’ meeting with him.”

“Hurry up. He must have been invited by the principal for a meal at the VIP room. Let’s go and wait outside the VIP room.”

After such a holdback, the three young girls had already disappeared without a trace. It wasn’t because they were afraid of trouble, it was because they were really in a hurry.
