Mo Beichen gazed at Xia Weilan subconsciously and noticed that she frowned slightly but very quickly regained her calm emotion.

“Tell him that I am not in.” Mo Beichen said.

“Ling Jianzheng also informed that he is willing to sell his company to Mo Corp.” The security guard delivered the message.

“Let him in.” Xia Weilan suddenly said.

“Mrs. Mo, are you worried about me?” Mo Beichen suddenly stood up and leaned against the side of the desk and teased her.

“Certain time? When are you referring to?” Mo Beichen gazed at her with his deep eyes exploring her expressions.

They were hugging onto each other. After a while, Xia Weilan lifted her head to look at him. 

At first, she intended to tell him that she was only startled and she was not afraid of lightning. 

But she suddenly changed her mind, “Hubby, I’m scared.”

“I know.” Mo Beichen said softly. 

He comforted her, “I’ll bring you a place.”

Xia Weilan hardly went to the fourth floor of Fairview Imperial Garden. Mo Beichen brought Xia Weilan into a room that resembled a home cinema. He closed the door and the thunder from outside disappeared magically.

“This room has excellent sound-proof effect.” Xia Weilan twitched her mouth and pulled away from his arms. 

There was no reason for her to lean on him anymore.

There was a giant screen and four soft leather sofas inside the room.

“Let’s watch a movie.” Xia Weilan took the controller and started flipping randomly.

There were alot of new movies on the display screen. Xia Weilan’s eyes brightened up and chose a movie that was obviously a romance movie. 

The sofas were two seaters and Xia Weilan automatically sat beside Mo Beichen. They leaned against each other. 

The lights dimmed and the movie started.

The soft light gently cast it’s rays on the brows of the two people on the sofa. They were serene and tranquil. However it was still pouring heavily outside. It rained throughout the night. 

Unknowingly, Xia Weilan fell asleep while leaning on Mo Beichen’s body. She had a good sleep. Mo Beichen’s gaze fell on her brows and there was a rare tenderness in his eyes.

The next morning.

When Xia Weilan woke up, she found herself in the master bedroom and the sky was clear outside.

Xia Weilan got off the bed but Mo Beichen was not in the bedroom. She looked at the clock, it was already eight in the morning.

It was sunday today, so Xia Weilan was not in a rush. She took her time to wash up before going downstairs.

“You’re awake madam. Breakfast is ready. Before the young master left home, he had requested us to boil some soup for you to warm your body.”
