CEO Husband Please Be Refrained

Mo Beichen raised his eyebrow in disdain, “You have a rather high taste. Others might think that you’re a lost princess from some country.” This lady is young but she’s ambitious. She can open her mouth to say words that are against her will.  Today is the first time she met her but yet she made it sound like they are lovers who had been in love for many years. 

Xia Weilan reached out to lift his chin, “Being your princess is enough for me.” Mo Beichen knocked her hands off. His face became colder, “What are you doing? A lady shouldn’t be coquettish.” Did she know that treating a man like this is a very dangerous act?

The knock sent Xia Weilan two steps backward. She pouted her lips and looked as if she’s breaking down in tears soon. She opened her arms and said, “It’s cold outside but my body is hot. I feel like I’m dying soon. I need a hug!” She’s still wearing the pink strappy dress prepared by Lady Hua. The chilly wind at night is cold indeed, but the uncontrollable heatwave in her body is tormenting her. If Mo Beichen still doesn’t pity her, she’ll have to force him to!

“I think it’s better that you die.” Although that is what Mo Beichen said, he carried Xia Weilan to the car. Laying on the couch with eyes half-closed, she mumbled,” I have no strength to pick up the glass of water. Feed me.” Mo Beichen gave her a stern look and helped her sit up. He fed her the pill. His antidote is very effective for the heat inside Xia Weilan’s body subsided as soon as it reaches her stomach. She seized the opportunity to stay in Mo Beichen’s arms. She grabbed the placket under his neck with her little hand, rubbing her face on his chest intentionally. It’s so good to be in his arms! She didn’t want to let go even for a second. 

Mo Beichen didn’t want to talk nonsense with her anymore. He lifted her and threw her on the bed in the guest room. “Ouch!” Xia Weilan is wide awake from the fall. She rubbed her waist and sat upright. When she was about to scold Mo Beichen for being heartless, he slammed the door as he walked out.  

Mo Beichen headed directly to the bathroom for a cold shower as soon as he was in his bedroom. Darn! He wanted to deny that he was turned on by a little girl’s body. The night went by peacefully. Mo Beichen was already at work when Xia Weilan woke up the next morning. Aunt Tian sent someone to deliver clothing, breakfast and a stack of cash. “Our master mentioned that it’s not easy for a lady to be outside alone. Here’s some money for you to go home.” In her past life, Aunt Tian took care of her for many years. She felt close to her when she saw her now. “Thanks. “Xia Weilan?” Ling Xuefei rose from the chaise longue in surprise. She asked arrogantly, “Shouldn’t you be receiving patrons now? Why are you back?” “That’s right Weilan. Did you escape home?” Wei Hongmei who’s busy in the kitchen quickly came over as soon as she heard the conversation. Xia Weilan walked toward the coffee table and poured herself a glass of red wine. She sat down and took a sip. “Yes, that’s right!” she nodded. In her past life, either Xia Family or Mo Family were able to supply her all the expensive wine in the world. She’s able to tell what sort of wine and how much it’s worth by just taking a sip.

“Why you! Who permits you to touch my things?” Ling Xuefei reached out and smashed the wine glass from her hand. This is a wine that she treasured a lot. She only drinks a small glass a day. If this was before, Wei Hongmei would surely teach Xia Weilan a lesson. But now, it’s more crucial to ask Xia Weilan how she escaped. They had spent most of the money that they received from selling her. Now that she’d escaped home, the people from Fuli Imperial City will surely come here. 

“Weilan. Regardless of how you managed to escape, you need to go back now. Otherwise, it’ll be a disaster for the whole family when the boss gets angry!” Wei Hongmei dragged Xia Weilan as she spoke. Xia Weilan raised her arms to shake off her grip. Her eyes turned ice cold. This is her biological mother! “Mrs. and Miss Ling, please watch what you are saying.” 

“Where did I escape from? Was it Fuli Imperial City? And do I need to remind you how I got in? What would be the consequences if I called the police?” Although Ling Jianyue was the one who suggested this, Ling Xuefei was the one who spiked the drink and it was Wei Hongmei who passed her the drink. The two of them should be imprisoned!

“Weilan! Are you out of your mind? I am your mother! How dare you send me to prison?” Wei Hongmei stared sternly as if she wanted to tear Xia Weilan apart. Although this daughter of hers also had a bad temper, she never dared to raise her voice around the house. She must have had nerves to speak to her like this.
