In the end, with two nominations, Shen Xingsui won Best Music. In the same year, on the Magnolia Award, Shen Xingsui’s performance as Feng Zhiwen was also shortlisted for Best Actor award. While he didn’t win the best actor award, he still won Best Newcomer. 

His assistant next to him came over and said, “You have won two awards in such a short time, I know you’ll have a bright future ahead of you.” 

“He’s inheriting Mr. Fu’s mantle,” The makeup artist commented with a pursed lips, “People who said that Mr. Shen and Mr. Fu aren’t a match made in heaven are blind.”

There were many celebrities coming and going to the venue ahead. Shen Xingsui was surprised to see a few familiar faces. He immediately walked over and quickly hugged Wen Shengge and Ning Ze. “Long time no see!”

Both of them were surprised with this sneak attack. They laughed and greeted him with radiant smiles. “I heard you are nominated for Best Actor this time. Congratulations, Suisui!”

“Thank you!” Shen Xingsui patted them on the shoulders, “What about you? You two must’ve nominated for an award this time too, right?”

Ning Ze walked to the side, sat down, and said, “Well, my last role in a TV series did win me Best Supporting Actor.”

Wen Shengge was happy with his friends’ accomplishment. It felt like a dream come true. “It just so happened that I was also in that series, as his rival in love. We both won nominations because of that role, in order to win over the same girl, hahaha!”
