"Mina what's wrong," he asked.

"Nothing, just don't come near me," I pleaded.

"I'm sorry Mina, but I can't just leave you like this," he said and began to pick me up off the ground. Trying to knock his hands away, he let go of me only to grip my wrists in his hands.

Placing his face close to mine, he said, "I'm only trying to help you, so why are you trying to hit me?"

"I don't need your help, so just let go of me," I shouted, trying to free my hands.

Letting me go, he shook his head and walked back inside. Pushing myself up, I could feel the same pain in my leg, Crouching down, I looked at my leg which revealed that my fresh clothes now held blood stains. Wincing in pain, I knew I needed to hurry up and get out her and started crawling. Then I felt two arms snake around my waist and lifting me up. Seeing the blond hair, I immediately knew that it was Jace. I thought he'd given up. I began punching his back and demanding him to "put me down!!" Not listening to me he brought me inside and I began to regret leaving out of Emilia's house. Placing me down on an olive colored couch, as he got a black bag out of the corner of the room. I tried getting up to leave, when he grabbed my injured leg. What was in the bag?

"Please don't hurt me, I sorry for spying on you," I begged him.

Looking at me he said, "hurt you? Why would I do that, it seems to me that you've already hurt yourself."

Turning his attention to my leg, he pulled out some gauze, peroxide, ointments and other fancy medical tools. Maybe he was just a doctor and this was the real reason, he came home so late, but I knew that it was him that I saw. As he was fixing me up, he asked, "so what were you looking for inside my yard?"

"I needed to find him. I know you have him. But, where is he? Where did you put him? Is he in your trunk? " I said frantically searching the room with my eyes.

"Mina, I don't understand what you are talking about," he said, finishing up and putting the bag away.

"Playing dumb doesn't suit you. I won't let you do the same to me!," I shouted.

"I don't know who the "he" is in this conversation but I'll prove it to you," he said bringing me to his car's trunk revealing that it was b.a.r.e.

"See, there's no one in there," he responded pointing at the inside of the trunk.

"Oh...," I said feeling completely stupid for openly suspecting him.

I needed to apologize to him, bowing my head, I said, "I'm so sorry, I thought you were... a..."

"a killer?" he asked. Nodding my head.

"Have you really forgotten why I'm here," he sighed.

I remembered then that I still owed him money for his favor. "I'm sorry, I had totally forgotten, I don't have my wallet now but how much do I owe you," I said.

"You owe me a lot but it's not money that I want," he said.

"So what do you want," I asked?

"If you have to ask me, it means that you still don't remember," he said.

But, what was I supposed to remember? Did we meet before? As I thought to myself trying to recall old memories, I could feel my eyes forcing it's lids to close and the world around me became black.
