Bossy Man, I'm Not Afraid Of You!!!

Chapter 15 - No Thank You, Mr. Manager Pt.3

Ha ha ha. I turned my head to the sound of his chuckling.

"Mina, you of all people should know how thorough I am. I've already planned so long for this," he said winking at me.

I was bewildered, how did I not notice his attachment to me all this time.

"I just didn't know that you would want to play this kind of game with me," he said, rising up from the booth.

Game? "What game?," I asked!

If this sick obsession with me was a game to him, then I wanted out.

"Just cut it out already Mina!!!!," he shouted angrily, banging his fist on the table.

This was the first time I'd seen him get angry, in fact it was the first time he'd ever yell at me, I was in shock.

Seeing the shocked look on my face, he started to talk sweetly to me again, "oh, I'm so sorry for raising my voice sweetie, don't be scared. I mean you even started dressing up prettier for me. The way you walked into my office that day with your skin exposed, I knew what you were doing, quitting your job to try to fetch my attention. I am not a dense man. But, I have to tell you Mina, my eyes have been glued to you." Could this sick man be even more cringey, I thought I began pulling on the door again.

"I don't know what you are talking about, I just want to go home, please open the doors?," I shouted.

That was probably it for him, because I could see his eyes and hands start twitching as his head shook. I needed to get out of here, but the doors were locked… Then it hit me, there's a window in his office. I began to frantically run to his office.

"Don't run away from me Mina!," he shouted as I ran, with him behind.

To my surprise, he wasn't chasing me but walking. I closed and locked the door. Realizing that he must have his keys, I began to move his desk and any other heavy object in the room in front of the door. Seconds later he began banging on the door,

"Mina, come out! Come out right now."

With each hit to the door, sounding louder, I could feel my hand trembling in fear as I began to try to open it. But for some reason it would budge. Dang it, just my luck, I had forgotten that he installed a window lock just last month.

"It's just I love you so much and I don't understand why you are doing this to us?!,"

I heard him say, sounding sad. Although it made me feel sorry for him, I wasn't going to give up, I needed to find something to break this window. Praying for a sign, I noticed the small snow globe on his desk, it was my present to him during the last holidays. Maybe I have been misleading him, but no time to feel sorry for this, I grabbed the snow globe and bashed it on the floor. I wanted to make sure the snow globe's glass wouldn't break in my eyes, during my attempt to break open the window.

"What's that sound? Mina? Open the door! Answer me Mina! Are you okay? Mina? I'm going to get the key," he said screaming into the door. I needed to hurry, I began bashing the window with the edge of the globe, shattering the window into pieces.

"I'm coming sweetie, just hold on," he said.

As the sound of him walking towards the door, I grabbed the chair, using as a stool, so I could climb from the window. Hearing the door being unlocked, I braced myself as I jumped through prepared to hit the concrete ground, but what I landed in was a pair of sweater covered arms.
