Boss, Can I Hug Your T.h.i.g.h?

"Dad, I lost my memories." These were the starting words of Hana after seating properly. She was not too sure how to interact with the others having this body's past, so she just went with that. Having Father Shen by her side might make her life easier.

Father Shen was happy when he heard the word 'Dad' but remembering her next words, he got shocked that his heart skipped a bit. Fortunately, he's still healthy at his age.

"How come? What happened to you?" Father Shen really loved her daughter even though she did not treat him well. He still tried to provide her everything she wanted though there were times she rejected him.

"I do not know. I woke up just like that." Hana was too lazy to explain or create lies. Lies after lies would be needed to avoid any suspicion and she was not up to it.

"But I got news from Ah Tian that you were able to sign those doc.u.ments and even provided some comments?"

Rolling her eyes, she said, "Dad, I lost my memories, but I did not become stupid." She explained to him that they were in a technological era and everything could be searched on the internet.

Father Shen did not know if he should tell her that she did not even finish her studies. But thinking about it, his daughter should be smart enough to know almost everything thru internet. He reached out and hugged her, comforting her that she did not need to worry as he would be handling everything.

Hana felt awkward, but she just let him be. She told him that he did not need to worry since she could still manage everything. Nevertheless, she thought that she was able to easily deceive this Father Shen. Would this be alright? Hana seemed to forget that this was called a parent's love.

Reaching the restaurant, Lu Xiao Tian was already there and helped Hana to open her door. He guided the father-daughter duo to their table and started ordering their food.

"By the way, what's up with this arrangement?" Hana was not too sure why Lu Xiao Tian was with them. She would be able to understand if she's with her father but why was that guy seating and eating with them?

"Ah Tian will be leaving the company next month to handle their own company. We are here to discuss how he will pass over to you his position." Luckily, Hana was not drinking anything or else, she might spill it because of shock. But, was that the reason for the main mission?

Also, they own a company so how come Lu Xiao Tian was with them? Father Shen explained that Lu Xiao Tian was only there to help them temporarily.

"Dad, I did not even finish my studies. People might question me if I immediately become the Vice President." Hana could handle the managerial position but for the Vice President? Seriously? She was just a regular employee before that somehow helped her manager and now, that position would be too high for her.

Father Shen wanted to roll his eyes but stopped, thinking that his daughter might get angry. 'Did she forget that she also became a manager even though she did not graduate? Well, I guess she did.' Father Shen just kept those thoughts in his mind.

Lu Xiao Tian looked at Hana when he heard her called Father Shen 'dad.' As far as he knew, she was still unwilling to talk with her father.

"Ah Yue, you do not need to worry. For the next few weeks, Ah Tian will help you analyze and get adjusted with that position." Hana was still not willing to do that. She told him that she wanted to finish her studies first before doing anything.

Seriously, today's her second day in this world. She might be a strong, independent woman who could manage almost everything but please, do not rush her. She thought that she was not like the other female leads who would brave everything as she's just someone average, so she still wanted to adjust.

"Do not worry Ah Yue, I called your university last time and they told me you can still finish your studies and get your degree by just attending online lessons. Just make sure to enroll this coming semester." Father Shen's words did not even comfort her, it just made her stress go up to the next level.

Lu Xiao Tian saw her defeated expression and could not help but to add, "Do not worry, Miss Shen. I will definitely help you adjust."
