Boss, Can I Hug Your T.h.i.g.h?

Chapter 43 - Being an Idol (3)

Hana immediately browsed on the internet to search the current price of rental places. Though her budget was small, she still wanted a place of her own. She did not want to be in a shared room since there were times she was talking with her system and her possible roommate might think she's insane.

After skimming for awhile, she found three afforable places and she could rent it for at least two months. Though the location was not ideal, since it was impossible to be in a good place with a low rental fee, she did not have a choice but to choose one and take it.

Since it was still noon, she could take a look at those places and check if she could move in immediately. The eviction notice only gave her a week to vacate her current place as it was under her previous company.

What an evil corporation, after dismissing her for poor reason and not giving her paycheck shortly after it, they did not even give her a chance to leave on her own. Cursing them to go bankrupt.

Hana massaged her temple and stopped stressing herself. She took a deep breath and went to bathroom to clean herself. Crying and sleeping all day would not help her find a place.

Remembering she was an idol here, she tried singing some song and she got shocked on how good it was. Well, nobody would praise her aside from herself.

She planned on dolling herself and using face mask, but she recalled she was not even famous so there was no need. Still, she made herself presentable and it might provide her some discount.

Hana went to the nearest fast food chain to take her late lunch and there was a television with live music show as its current show.

She tried to analyze the current popular groups while eating since it might give her some ideas on how she should promote herself.

She was about to take another bite when the emcee came out with the group My Star. She intended to focus on eating but the announcement from her former members made her stop.

With a crying face, Han Chungha said, "It was an unfortunate event but our member, Kim Chi, bade us goodbye since her health did not allow her to pursue this career."

Another member, Park Sunmi, added, "We will now be promoting as a 4-member group and we wish everyone would still support us. Also, let us not forget Kim Chi and wish her well."

Hana frowned, what kind of joke was that? They chased her out but made it sounded like she was the one who left them?

She was holding her chopsticks to the point of breaking it when she heard a customer near her, "Kim Chi? She's the only good singer there. What would happen with that group now?"

Hana was about to smile and gloat when the companion of that customer refuted, "Hey! Don't badmouth my goddesses. That pig was useless so she deserves to be removed."

She was about to throw the now broken chopsticks but stopped since there were still people who unexpectedly knew her. It would be bad for her image too if they saw her. With that, she took her stuff and just went out.

She did not plan to stay with people who were cursing. She just came from a depressing mood so she needed a postive environment.

However, it still affected Hana as her mind was still clouded because of rage that she did notice she was crossing the pedestrian lane but the signal was red. Luckily, someone pulled her before she got hit by incoming fast car.

"Hey, miss. Are you okay?"

It was a woman in her late twenties. She thought it was a knight in shining armor saving a princess in distress. Well, she did not even look like a noble nor even a princess.

"Yes, thank you so much. If it is okay with you, do you mind if I treat you a coffee for saving me?" Hana was just being courteous but she really did not want to do it due to her low budget, so she was wishing the lady would decline.

Alas, her prayer was not heard, "Sure, is Starbucks okay?"
