After Hana and Secretary Liu ate, they returned to their work desk respectively. Hana could not concentrate with her job because of her upcoming meeting with Lee Yitian. Luckily, there was nothing urgent tasks and the press conference preparation was already done.

Before her shift ended, it seemed like Lee Yitian knew her schedule as he sent right away a message that he was already waiting for her. Hana forgot that there was a time her meeting was late in the afternoon and she was with him. He even took her to the gym.

As soon as the elevator door opened, she saw Lee Yitian waving at her. She went near him and asked where they would be going. Hana was still full, so she suggested somewhere they could eat some light snacks.

Lee Yitian brought her to the nearest café and made sure no one would see them. They sat in a secluded place and ordered some food before asking her, "How are you these days?"

"I'm good. You?"

"I'm fine too, thanks for asking." There was an awkward silence after that.

To avoid it, Lee Yitian kept asking Hana what she did these last few days they did not meet.

Although it was just an idle talk, Hana secretly scoffed as she thought he was asking as if it matters. Nevertheless, she answered him politely like she was just at home doing her stuff.

"By the way, we will be having the press conference next week. I know we are all set but I just want to make sure everything will be fine."

Hana sighed upon hearing that as the filler was getting longer, "Do not worry, both of our sides are there to handle it. Seriously, what's the reason for this meet up?" She was getting impatient but she was not just showing it. Her attitude was different today as her Auntie just came.

"That…" Lee Yitian paused for a while before continuing, "Are you going to attend the event next week."

Hana knitted her eyebrows, the answer should be obvious, "Yes, I am. As the Vice President and one of the heads of the project, my presence should be there, right?"

"Can you not attend?" There was some hesitation seen in Lee Yitian's face when he said that, and Hana noticed it.

"Why? Will there be something bad going to happen? Like… abduction or bombing of the event's place?" These were some of the situations usually happened in some novels and Hana remembered it. She just blurted it out and seemed she was right.

Lee Yitian got shocked but made sure Hana would not see his reaction. "No… why would that happen?"

"So, why do you not want me to come?" There should be a reason why she should not be there, right?

"I just want to invite you and go on a trip, is that okay with you?"

Hana pursed her lips as this nonsense was getting longer.

"Mr. Lee, you know that it is an important event and as both of us are the heads, it should be right thing that we are also present in there. Don't you think you inviting me elsewhere on that day is a kind of reckless idea? If you don't want to attend then go on, you don't need to mind me." Hana stood after uttering those words and left. It was actually rude but it was time to that action like some cool female leads after getting impatient.

She knew that there was something up that was why he did not want her to take part of that important event. However, sensing he did not plan on telling her what's the matter, she just walked away and went home instead of wasting her time. She could read a lot of stuff with the time wasted.

She actually saw the reaction of Lee Yitian when she said something about abduction and bombing. With that, she already had an idea of hiring some bodyguards from the company suggested by Lu Xiao Tian. Though it might be uncomfortable being followed, since she already got a hint, she would just tolerate it and prepare in advance to prevent something bad to happen.

When she got home, she immediately looked for the business card and negotiated with the contact person to arrange some people around her. She told them that as much as possible, she would be protected 24/7 starting from that day until the event. It would be better than having them just on the day itself as she was not sure when the other party planned to execute their schemes.

She also told her hypothesis to Father Shen. He believed her and also called some people from his side.

With that, Hana was able to properly rest that night.

Her date… meeting with Lu Xiao Tian was at lunch time. For the whole morning, she just did her job as usual and went to meetings if needed.
