Father Shen just hit his forehead. He made sure his daughter was sitting comfortably before following Lu Xiao Tian to the kitchen.

He noticed the food brought by Lu Xiao Tian and thanked him.

"Bring the medicine to Ah Yue but don't let her take it yet as she still needs to eat. I'll prepare the food and bring it over there."

Lu Xiao Tian volunteered to help Father Shen but got rejected by the latter stating that he could manage it. Lu Xiao Tian did not insist any further and went to Hana.

"How are you feeling?"

Hana did not want to mention her body was still aching due to the fiasco a while ago because it was her stupidity that caused it.

"Still fine. As you can see, I'm still alive and kicking." She attempted to raise a leg when her muscle throbbed. She accidentally squeaked before covering her mouth and coughed acting like nothing happened.

If someone looked at Lu Xiao Tian at that moment, they would see that his eyes were glimmering. "Yes, you look so… fine."

Hana pretended she did not hear him and asked why he was there.

"Father Shen called me about what happened yesterday then told me that you are now a patient."

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Okay, so did he ask you to come?"

Chuckling, he said he invited himself and brought her some food along the way.

022 snickered when it overheard his words and conveyed to Hana that everyone might really be seeing the word food on her face.

Just like before, Hana did not pay attention to its taunting.

"Looking at you right now, it seems like you won't be able to come tomorrow?"

"Not sure about that. I will still try though." Acknowledging her answer, Lu Xiao Tian told her not to insist if she was still not feeling well.

"You two, let's go eat now. Ah Yue, make sure to eat properly before taking your medicine." Father Shen set the food on the table and asked the two to consume the food while it's still warm.

The three of them talked about some business until their meal ended. Lu Xiao Tian bade them goodbye as it was already getting late.

Closing the door, Father Shen looked at his daughter and asked if she could get back to her bedroom.

Hana said she would try but upon taking the first step, she yelped in pain. Going downstairs was still okay but going up was a no-no.

"Dad, please help." Sensing the pain, Hana decided to request her father to assist her.

"You want me to carry you?"

"Yes, please."

"Ah Yue, my bone is too old now. I can't carry you." Father Shen said this while sighing and lamenting that he could not even lend a hand to his daughter.

Hana looked exasperated upon hearing him. She might be considered as obese due her BMI, but she believed that she wasn't that heavy!

"Just give me a hand to reach the guest room and get me some of my facial care products." Father Shen agreed with it and did as what she requested him to do.

Thankfully, she was able to walk properly the next day and she could now manage the soreness of her t.h.i.g.hs. She determined that she could now go to her office and attend the meeting she rescheduled.

"Ah Yue, I heard you worked from home yesterday as you were sick. Are you feeling well now?"

Hana did not catch the caring tone when Lee Yitian said that as she got distracted when he called him 'Ah Yue' again. Thus, she started the meeting after getting back her sense without answering him.

"The promotion for our project will be starting next month. Our team is already working with some media companies. I expect some good news later."

Perceiving that she did not plan to answer him, he just sighed and focused on their meeting.

"That's good to hear. We can decide now for the venue of the press conference and product launch. We suggest that this Diamond Hotel would be ideal for the concept you mentioned before."

Just like before, their conversation went well, and they were able to decide a lot of important stuff.

As their meeting was rescheduled in the afternoon, Hana's shift was about to end so she decided to fix her stuff.

Lee Yitian followed her back to her office and seeing her action, he asked, "Are you going home?"

Hana decided to be nice with him this time, so she answered him, "Nope, I still have something to do."

"Do you need a ride? I overheard that you do not use your car going here. It might be hard to get a cab during this hour." Hana hesitated for a moment before agreeing.

As he got a point and it could help to save some money too, what else was the reason for her to decline? Also, she was planning to apologize with what she did to him before.

Reaching the lobby, Hana noticed someone she did not expect to see. It was Assistant Manager He with his stuff in a box.

Secretary Liu was behind the two when she saw where Hana was looking at and could not help but to share some gossips.

"I overheard he was fired due to corruption. Apparently, Vice President Lu commenced the investigation before he left." Hana raised an eyebrow while thinking, 'that Lu guy is really good, even removing this pest before leaving the company.'

Not paying more any attention, Hana just walked behind Lee Yitian until they got in front of his car. Acting like a gentleman, he went to open the door for her.

"So, where do you want me take you?" Hana gave him the location and he started his car.

While on the road, Hana saw a fast food chain and asked Lee Yitian to go to Drive Thru.

"What do you want? My treat."

"Woah, that's new. What's up? Is there anything worth celebrating for?"

"Ahmm…" Lee Yitian caught her hesitation, so he did not insist of getting an answer.

After paying and getting their food, Lee Yitian was driving again when he heard her say, "I'm sorry."
