Lin Sifei went back to the living room and plopped herself down on Luo Ke’s knees.

She rubbed Luo Ke’s stomach, meowing weakly. Luo Ke slowly ran a hand through her fur, her attention deviating from her current conversation to Lin Sifei.

“Xiao Ke, what do you think?”

“Huh?” Luo Ke raised her eyes, indifferent, “I’ll listen to grandma either way.”

The old lady laughed, turned her head to the person behind her and beckoned, “Shengping, come, Xiao Ke doesn’t blame you.”

Luo Shengping smiled and leaned in and waved his hand, “I was offensive at the company last time, Xiao Ke, don’t blame me too much.”

The corners of Luo Ke’s lips moved almost imperceptibly, and then raised her eyebrows, “Second Uncle is too polite, of course I won’t blame you. It’s just that the people in the company are smart. If I don’t do something, it will not help stabilize and motivate the employees. “

“You’re right.” The old lady patted her hand, “But we’re all a family and don’t hold lasting grudges.”

Lin Sifei pouted. No wonder they invited Luo Ke to come over, their main objective was to probably reconcile them. Last time, Luo Ke directly warned her uncle to pay attention to his identity, and they were worried about provoking Luo Ke, so they had set up the whole scene for them to reconcile.

These people have not been able to control the Luo family business, but now they shamelessly rely on Luo Ke and use their supposed family affection to trap her in this predicament.

Once these people achieved their goals, they wouldn’t leave Luo Ke in the same position; they would probably depose her. Lin Sifei rubbed her paws, already looking forward to exposing those chat messages. She raised her head to moew and stretched out her paws to paw at Luo Ke’s arm.

“What’s wrong?” Luo Ke lowered her head and scratched her head.

Lin Sifei continued to meow softly, rubbing her arm, paws sliding all around her arm.

Luo Ke petted her and pressed Lin Sifei against her chest, “Be good.”

Lin Sifei’s eyes widened suddenly, Again! What’s the matter with this Luo Ke?

She straightened her paws and pushed them back, feeling the softer stuff under her paws. Lin Sifei felt her cheeks grow slightly hot, and she looked away.

The old lady looked at the squirming cat, her brows creasing, slightly annoyed, “This cat is probably getting bored. It ran out just now. All right, you are busy too, just take her back.”

Luo Ke rubbed the cat’s head, got up and bowed farewell to Mrs. Luo and Luo Bihua, “Then I will go.”

Leaving the villa, Luo Ke sat on the driver’s seat and stretched, and then glanced at her, “Do you not like grandma and the others?”

Lin Sifei turned her eyes to Luo Ke, then turned away casually, and continued to stretch. I can’t understand, can’t understand.

After she yawned, Lin Sifei sat up, rummaging around for her tablet.

“What are you looking for?” At the red light, Luo Ke brought out the tablet, “This?”

Lin Sifei meowed in affirmation and raised her front paw to pat the tablet.

Luo Ke handed it to her, rubbing her head.

Lin Sifei leaped on the tablet, glanced at her, and jumped onto the back seat, the tablet cover edge in her mouth.

Luo Ke looked at the rearview mirror and smiled, “I wouldn’t be fighting you over a tablet.”

Lin Sifei waved her tail and hid the tablet by turning it away. Just in case, her operations with the tablet still couldn’t be seen by Luo Ke. Lin Sifei internally thanked the heavens that the journey home was long. She should have enough time.

Lin Sifei lay in the back seat, retrieving the documents from her email first, and then found a black account on social media. In the past, similar accounts had been in the entertainment industry, dirtying celebrities. Back in her old life, Lin Sifei and her agent had also been in contact with these people.

These types of accounts are highly concealed, difficult to trace, and have some secretive mouths, so they were quite suited to pass things to the Luo family while preventing Luo Ke’s IP address from being traced. That would be funny. Lin Sifei was already looking forward to it.

[CoolKitten: Taking commissions?]

[Black Circle King: We don’t ever deceive, although we don’t take money to dirty people. [smiley face.jpg]]

[CoolKitten: Alright, stop pretending. This isn’t for the entertainment circle. Help me spread some news to others, and you can tell me the price.]

[Black Circle King: Alright]

[CoolKitten: [File Transfer] Remember to send it to this number: 123xxxx45]

After closing the message box, Lin Sifei jumped up and looked at Luo Ke, who was driving. She needed the money to make the payment. Luo Ke’s cell phone was placed in the middle of the car, so she attempted to lean in quietly.

Luo Ke pressed down on her neck gently, “What are you doing?”

Lin Sifei: “Meow~”, looking at Luo Ke with her cat eyes watery.

Luo Ke sighed helplessly, “The tablet is not enough to satisfy you now?”

“Meow~”

“Okay, okay, take it.” Luo Ke unlocked the phone and handed it to her.

Lin Sifei’s eyes lit up. She took the phone to the back seat, happily transferring money to Black Circle King, and then deleting the payment text message.

A few thousand dollars, compared to Luo Ke’s life, was next to nothing. She patted her chest, her conscience not guilty at all.

When she got home, Luo Ke picked her up, put her mobile phone and tablet away, “I really have to take you to the doctor for an examination, what if you really got nearsighted.”

As Luo Ke sat on the sofa, the cat in her arms, Luo Ke suddenly smiled, and rubbed her face on Lin Sifei’s belly.

During her time with Luo Ke, Lin Sifei had become immune to this action. As Luo Ke did it to her often, she got used to it.

Luo Ke, seemingly rejuvenated after petting a certain cat, returned to her office to deal with some more company documents.

Lin Sifei thought about the Luo family’s drama for a few more seconds, and then happily followed her to the study.

While Luo Ke clicked between two files and discussed the next task arrangement with Special Assistant Lin, the phone near her hand constantly vibrated.

She frowned slightly and saw that Mrs. Luo was calling, and raised her hand to beckon Special Assistant Lin to wait.

“Hello, grandma, what’s the matter?”

“Ah!”

There was a scream, followed by a woman’s curse.

Luo Ke was taken aback, “Grandma, what happened?”

“Okay, what is with the noise!” The old lady scolded angrily before returning to continue answering the phone, “Your aunt and the others are quarreling.”

Luo Ke was slightly surprised, “Why did they quarrel? And in front of Grandma you too?”

“You do not know?”

Luo Ke could not have been more puzzled, “I, what do I know? Wasn’t it all good when I left?”

“Oh, that’s okay.” Mrs. Luo laughed, “It was just a dress. Both of them like it, but there is only one.”

“They can quarrel like this for a piece of clothing? Grandma, why don’t you tell me what happened, let me see if I can help.”

The old lady insisted on not letting her intervene, “I can handle it, don’t worry, minor stuff.”

After she finished speaking, she hung up the phone.

Luo Ke looked at the phone, frowning slightly. As she was just thinking about whether to call back to ask about the situation, she looked at the cat staring at her from her position next to her.

After being together for so long, Luo Ke could already see what Lin Sifei was thinking from Lin Sifei’s face, and now it was clear that she was satiated with revenge. Then she thought of the cat getting into the back seat in the car uncharacteristically, and the cat waving her tail happily.

Luo Ke put her hands on Lin Sifei’s side, “Xiaoxiao, did you do it?”

Lin Sifei waved her tail and raised her chin. Yes, it was her, how was it? Wasn’t she super awesome?

Luo Ke looked at her self-satisfied appearance, and became angry, “Why do you want them to quarrel? Is it because they don’t like you?”

Lin Sifei, upon noticing that Luo Ke looked angry, had her tail frozen in the air, staring at her blankly.

“And you’re staring at me! Are you wronged? I spoiled you, but you act like this? In the future, if someone makes you even a little uncomfortable, will you retaliate against them?. I didn’t notice it before, but you know how to scheme. Alone, in your cat body, you can make them quarrel.”

Luo Ke took a deep breath, looked down at Lin Sifei, unexpectedly meeting her tearful eyes. She was taken aback.

Lin Sifei sniffed, turned to jump off the desk, and rushed out of the study.

Luo Ke was stunned, frozen in place. When she  raised her hand, a drop of a crystal tear had fallen on the back of her hand.

“Xiaoxiao——” Luo Ke murmured and hurriedly chased after her.

When she went down to the first floor, she just happened to see Lin Sifei unlocking the window lock. She hurriedly stepped forward and brought her down, “I was wrong, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have been accusatory.”

“Meaoow!” Lin Sifei burst into tears. Her paws pushed Luo Ke desperately, claws out, and soon she saw blood.

“I was really wrong.” Luo Ke hugged her tightly, “You can be angry, you can scratch me, but don’t run around. What if you go out and get caught? Some people eat cat meat.”

Upon hearing that Lin Sifei struggled with a bit less force but still, she continued, “Meow!”

She twisted and jumped down and squished herself into the gap in the sofa.

Luo Ke sighed, “You can be angry, but don’t say angry for too long.”

Lin Sifei flicked her tail. She was angry, but it was because Luo Ke didn’t know how she was helping her.

Luo Ke just stood beside her with her arms around her chest for a while, and then she went to the kitchen to find snacks and put them beside her angry cat.

She took her computer downstairs, sat next to Lin Sifei’s spot under the couch and worked on the files, waiting for Lin Sifei to come out.

Lin Sifei smelled the scent of the snacks. Finally, she couldn’t help herself, got out from under the sofa, bit off a piece of dried fish, and ate the vitamin tablets.

Luo Ke, seeing her eating something, was relieved. She tentatively reached out to touch Lin Sifei.

Lin Sifei froze for a second, but in the end, she didn’t shy away and continued to eat.

Luo Ke sat next to her and smoothed out her fur, “The Luo family was originally very harmonious. It is wrong for you to instigate a fight between them. I know you may not be a human being, and might not understand the relationship between people. You can’t do things in this world purely based on your own liking.”

You are not human! Lin Sifei raised her paw, swiped up the vitamin tablets in front of her, which all smashed towards Luo Ke, causing her to retract her hand.

Lin Sifei ran away quickly, climbed to the top of the cat climbing structure, looked down at her, gave a vicious “meow”, and then plunged into the small house and wouldn’t come out.

Luo Ke rubbed her sore arm and sighed. How would you explain to a demon the rules of the human world?

Lin Sifei curled up on the cat climbing frame, tears falling down again. Luo Ke was an idiot. The Luo family’s harmony relies on leeching off her hard work. She kindly helped them and she became the victim afterwards.

Luo Ke glanced at the cat climbing frame, and reluctantly sat up. As she picked up her phone from the ground, her eyes landed at the tablet hidden under the coffee table. She took it out, a little curious about how Lin Sifei, the little monster, had instigated the entire thing.

She looked at the clean floor and sent a message to Special Assistant Lin. Soon, a hacker took over the tablet remotely and began to recover all of the activity the tablet experienced.

She looked at the file sent by Lin Sifei with a surprised look. She…had wrongly blamed Xiaoxiao.

“Xiaoxiao, I was wrong. Really, I don’t know that it was because they cheated. They were unfaithful to their marriage, it’s okay for you to expose it. You’re right, it’s my fault. I also said you were spoiled. It was my fault.”

Lin Sifei shrank inside the small den on the cat climbing structure, her eyes wide. Wait a minute, how did Luo Ke know?

She quickly poked her head out. When she saw the tablet with the screen on, she felt some cold sweat instantly rise up.

No, no, now she was completely exposed!

Ah, slight angst, and Xiaoxiao being exposed. Thank you for reading!
