Battle Of A Storm

[ Victor POV ]

Well that didn't last long as Cecilia have caught me and Roland as of right now we are being scolded by her like we're kids.

She sure is not showing us mercy as of right now even the people inside the camp are laughing at our situation.

I can't be mad at them as I too would have laughed, just like them as I seen something like this.

"I can't! Believe you two again with your matches, I mean look how bad the two of you have hurt each other." she said giving us that anger mother look that I can't seem to look her in the eyes when she does it.

I was going to say something to get us to go a little easy on us, but the idiot I called brother was to first to speak.

"Come on sis we're fine nothing bad happen just a few cuts and bruises on us. So can you lay off our back now, your kind off being a pain in the a.s.s."

Oh damn it, he gone and said it as I saw Cecilia punch him in the head hard.

"Ow! What the f.u.c.k sis." Roland yelled out loud while I leak out a little laugh.

Thanks to that, I now got Cecilia attention which was not good for me as I try to give her my best smile at her.

"And what are you laughing at mister." Cecilia said standing right in front of me.

"Um…. I was wasn't laughing…. I was just coughing…. Yeah! That's it."

Please let her believe me.

"Hmmm… alright." Cecilia said which makes me relieved.

"What!? That so bullshit sis, you going easy on him because you Lo-."

Roland was kick right in his male parts by his sis for whatever he was about to say. I hold out to my own, my brother I can feel your pain as a male as well.

"Shut up! I am not going easy on Victor brother, he getting pushish as well."

Roland try to talk back, but couldn't bring up any comeback to Cecilia because the pain. I try to keep my focus somewhere else as that when I saw Hellfang walking toward us.

"Hey! Hellfang." I yelled as I ran up to him

"Hey kiddo, what is going on here?."

"Oh Cecilia pushing us again for having our secret match again."

"Really because the way I am seeing this it only look like Roland being the one being pushed."

Hellfang pointed it out as it really did look that way.

"Anyway the boss has called for the two of you boys."

"Do you mean?."

Hellfang nodded his head which confirmed what I am asking of him. So this it the day I and Roland been waiting for to finally fight to fully be apart of this group.

I walk back to Cecilia and Roland.

"Roland it time." I said as I see him notices what I mean and soon became excited just like me.

"Hell yes!." he yelled out like an idiot that everyone here in the camp look at us.

"What the hell are yelling like that for idiot." Cecilia was getting embarrassed.

"Oh sorry sis me and Victor got to see the boss because today could be the day." he said with a big smile on his face.

Cecilia could understand what her twin brother mean, I noticed that she was showing a worrying concern.

I can understand the reason why as Roland and Cecilia are orphans with no parents when we met them. We can tell that one was human and the other was a curse beast since both of them are demi-humans.

Anyway, I put an arm around the both of them.

"Alright enough wasting time guys let go see the boss now." I said as Roland and Cecilia nodded their heads.

All of us then made our way to the boss tent where three of us waited outside not taking the chance of going inside to see the boss in action again like the other times.

The man really doesn't care who enter to see him having s.e.x with one of the girls from the camp. Poor Cecilia can never look the boss in the eyes because of it.

"Alright you two boy can enter the boss want to talk to them alone in private." Hellfang said as he exit out from the boss tent.

Me and roland enter the tent where we see the boss looking down on a map that was placed on the table with one hand on his chain as it seems the man is thinking of something.

Only a minute pass that he soon look up to us.

"Victor and Roland it good to see you boys are here as you must already know why."

"We're going to finally be fighting in the battles." I answered him.

"Yup, I have watched the two of you boys train yourselves to the limit with determination these past 4 years. I have to be honest it makes me damn proud of you boys, but i am going to have be series with the two of you."

We both see the boss face turn from normal to series as he walks away from the table and towards us putting a hand on our shoulder.

"What you boys are going to be apart of mean you can never go back from, you will become killers for hire to kill others for money to have your own hands stained with blood and your own souls will forever be dirty. I am going to ask the two one last time are you boys sure you wise to walk down this path?."

"Yes." we both answer in union with even giving it a minute to think over it.

I know what we're going to do can make us no longer be called normal, but for me it doesn't matter, I am casting away my old life to forget the bad. This is going to be my new life which I am going to live to the fullest with nothing to stand in my way.

Roland doing this only because like I said he an orphans with nothing, but only his sister. So the reason he is doing this may be because of that to earn money this way for him and his sister to live.

"Ok then you two may go, I later call for a meeting with everyone, so you two best be there do you hear me."

"Yes boss." we both again answer to him as well exit out of the tent where Hellfang, Cecilia and this time Lydia was waiting for us.

"Lydia you was waiting for us?." I ask her.

"Yes as I wanted to talk to you alone if you don't mind Victor."

I guess it might be something series, I nod my head agreeing as the others thought it be best to give us some space leaving.

"So what do you want to talk about Lydia." I ask, but I have a very strong guess to what it could be.

"Well I just want to talk about you be sure in doing this." she asked with a little concern In her tone of voice.

"Yeah I know this is something your not going to like me doing, but I am doing this on my own will Lydia."

"I know it just…. I wish there was another way for you, but your right it your own choice to one does their own life. I want you to promise me that you will stay safe and alive."

Lydia ask of me looking me dead in the eyes for me to give her the right answer she wants to hear from me.

"Of course! Lydia I will." I answer in a hurry.

"Good, I be going take care Victor."

"You too." we said our goodbyes it good that she cares about me like a mother.

It makes me miss my own mother sometimes, I wish things could have been different, but there is no point in thinking like that got to meet up with the other soon there going to be a meeting later on.

[ 3rd POV ]

The next day come where Wilson gather his camp getting the men ready to move while the women get inside carts where they will be taken somewhere safe location.

Today they ready themselves for battle Wilson informed his men at the meeting he call for to go over on what is going to be happening.

Telling them that they are going to be fighting in an open area beside the other men that belong to a man who is hiring them.

The plan is to fight them head on to make them full back during the battle until they have nowhere else to run.

Wilson and his men started moving after a few days they meet up with their payer and his army.

"Well Wilson I am happy that you came to my aide." the man on his horse said.

"Well Elbert Noel you are paying me and my men to fight for you after all."

"Yes I know and I am paying you nicely to help make sure I win this fight since your the best mercenary I have been hearing about."

The two on their horses start to walk beside each other with their men following behind.

"I wouldn't go that far and say I am the best, I mean what am I without my men. I would be nothing."

Wilson look back at his men after saying that.

"That is true, I have also heard you are great at commanding your men, I would like to have someone like you working for me."

"I am flattered my lord, but I like to keep working this way until I die on an all out glory on a battlefield."

"So that how you want to go not retire to a big house with wealth and women."

Wilson laugh at what Elbert said.

"No I don't see myself doing a thing like that, I just want to kill, drink and f.u.c.k to the end."

The two laugh for a while until things become quiet between the two. A few more days past where they now stand on one side opposite from the enemies waiting in silence.

Soon the battle will begin where blood will be spilled and bodies will pile up.
