Battle Of A Storm

Victor awakes to find himself back at the same black abyss again and he knows full well that he is going to hear that voice again inside this darkness.

"Why am I here? again." he asks himself until the voice answer his question.

(You just don't get it do you Victor, you are not normal or to say your something special)

"Special, what are talking about, I don't understand."

Victor was becoming confused on what the voice was talking about

(I can understand still new to this, but do not worry you will soon come to learn and love this new awakening inside you)

"I still don't get what you mean as you're talking nonsense."

The voice laugh as echoes through the abyss of darkness.

(Nonsense you call it, no it is not nonsense only truth you wish not to believe even with the blood given to you by your own father)

"My father, what does he have to do with this, you keep talking about his blood."

(Oh no I am not going to say any more than that, what would be the fun in that, I think you should seek the answer on your own from now on)

"No damn it! Tell me." Victor damned, but got nothing from the voice as he was now alone in the darkness until he felt a strong forces pushing him out.

Being kicked out of the darkness, Victor opened his eyes to find himself in a tent again only this time he was not along inside.

Lydia was inside sitting on the bed holding his hand tightly.

"Oh good it seem your ok that man Wilson did a number on you, but don't worry, I make sure to kick his a.s.s for this."

"What happen?." Victor asked as he slowly got up from the bed.

"Hold it right there you shouldn't be moving, your going to need a good rest after that fight."

"That fight, you mean the one between me and the boss."

"That the one I am talking about, well you were fighting Roland first before fighting him, but that man was to stop that fight not kept it going."

Slowly the memoirs of the fight start to come back to him remembering everything that has happened.

"I am just glad you're alright Victor." Lydia said looking at him as she see him being quite.

"Victor what wrong you're awfully quiet here and It making worry."

There was silent in the are for a moment until Victor open his mouth to speak.

"Lydia I think I am going crazy."

Hearing him say that made Lydia not understand why he would say such a thing.

"Huh? What are you saying Victor." Lydia ask and Victor beang to explain about Voice he has been hearing and what it has been saying to him.

After a few minutes passing by Victor was done talking and Lydia had no words to say to him or to say any word to what she just heard. Victor notices her being quiet and let out a big sigh.

"Like I said, I believe I am going crazy and from what I have told you it just proves my point."

"No Victor you're not going crazy it might just be your over work about how your first time in a battle went for you."

Victor thought about it what Lydia and wanted to believe it that way, but he couldn't as he had a strong gut feeling that there was something more to it happening to him.

"Than what about the voice talking about my father blood flowing within me."

"That, I have no answer for that Victor, but I am sure it nothing to worry about."

"I guess you're right."

Lydia smile at Victor and reach out for his head to him a warmly kiss to the forehead.

"Now you get some rest, so you get better for tomorrow."

"Yeah I get some rest."

Victor was about to lay back down on the bed while Lydia stay by his side a little longer when someone came inside the tent the two were in.

"Your awake that good to know."

The one to say that was none other than Wilson.

"Wilson what the hell are doing here." Lydia ask, but the man ignored her and only focus his attention on the young man Victor

"Victor."

"Yes boss."

"I am sorry, but I am going to need you to pick your things and got ready to leave."

Hearing this Lydia and Victor were shock.

"What are you doing Wilson why are you telling to gather his things and leave."

Lydia got up from the bed and stand in front of him.

"The f.u.c.k is going on with Wilson."

Wilson was quite, he couldn't explain to her his reason for this as there was nothing he could do as this was decided between the talk with him and Elbert a few hours ago.

[a few hours early inside Elbert Tent]

"I was entertained was the show you give out there Wilson."

Inside Elbert tent, the man was sitting down while Wilson stand like he was one of the man soldiers out there.

"I am glad you enjoy it my lord."

"Yes it was interesting to see how you were beating one of your own like a dog who needed to learn his place it that what you were doing out there."

"Yes I was doing that, I had to show discipline the boy for the way he was acting."

"I see, but why wasn't the other given the same treatment that is what I don't understand WIlson and do know that whatever you say next better be the truth my friend as I do not like it when someone lies to his face."

Listing to Elbert words did not scared Wilson to him this man was just another rich guy paying him and his men to fight on his side, but the man is not looking to start something, so he gives and decided to tell him.

"You know the boy name Victor."

"Of course he the young man that brought us victory like you told me and I believe he that same one you just beat the shit out of for not too long."

"Well how about Steel Blades do you know who they are."

Elbert attention was caught when Wilson said Steel Blades.

"You don't mean that young boy is one of them Wilson becuase if so that may be very good for us or f.u.c.k.i.n.g bad."

"I take that yes then that you know about them or to say what they truly are."

"Who has not my friend, they are well known monster hunters yet they have they have their problems like any other living being in this world and now learning that there one among us make me very concerned here if you can what I mean."

Wilson can understand full well what Elbert meaning and was beginning to worry about the outcome in this discussion about Victor.

"He one of my men just let me handle it this matter as it nothing for you to deal with my lord."

"I like to agree with you on that my friend, but telling me this now is a problem for me as well to deal with and I would like to know how you plan to deal with it."

"There is only one thing for me to do in dealing with such matter and that is to send him away to where the others like him lived."

Elbert show a disappointed look on his face after hearing that.

"What with that look." Wilson asked feeling a bit concerned.

"it's nothing to worry yourself about just do what you plan to do about Victor as soon as possible my friend."

"Very well, I take care of it."

Wilson took his leave were it was now only Elbert inside until he snaps his fingers for his man to come inside and to receive his orders.

"Yes my lord."

"I have an important mission for you and few other man."

Elbert carefully explain to the man on what he must do for him.

[Back to the present]

Victor was now on a horse ready to leave, he look to everyone there to say goodbye to him.

This hurt Victor that he must leave like this, but having a private talk with Wilson, he knew that he must do this as he does not wish to hurt anyone dear to him.

"I am sorry Victor there no other way it has to be this way."

"I understand what you mean boss, I always remember the good times I spent with all of you."

"It was good kid it was good."

Victor look to everyone there seeing the sad expression on their to see him leave them.

"Listen to me carefully as this will be the last thing I am going to tell as your boss. Don't stop anywhere find out where the Steel Blades live and go there as I am sure they help you."

Victor nodded his head in understanding as he said nothing further and began to leave knowing that he will feel more pain to his hurt if to stay any longer.

Everyone sadly watch him leave as things soon became quite once Victor was gone.
