Baby Contract: Forced Deal With A Dragon

Long Cheng's facial expression was unreadable after finding out that his mate had escaped. Added to the fact that was that they were able to figure out that he was not poisoned but hexed, just like the two specially trained soldiers that had been picked up by the Medical Voltar that they were on. 

Though concerned, Long Cheng was still trying to recover from another puking episode, so he was just silently sitting on the Voltar's floor with a bucket beside him. At least he knew that he would feel better as long as he was not around women! 

Leave it to Long Jun to notice the trigger of the hex. It seemed that instead of his mate giving him passion, the potion that he'd been forcefully made to drink gave him significant discomfort to the point of vomiting when a female was too close to him. 

'Possessive and feisty, just the way I like it.' Long Cheng thought to himself with delight. From the first time, he'd laid eyes on her, the torture had already started mentally, emotionally, or physically. 

He was not sure if it was a test or that she was that possessive to the point of punishing him for not being a v.i.r.g.i.n. 'What can I do? S.e.x gives strength and comfort…' Long Cheng tried to question his resolve with worry. 

Would she have treated him differently if he had guarded his chastity? 

Regardless, just the thought that she had fooled him because of possessiveness made his heart warm with happiness. 

He could not help but smile goofily despite his discomfort or the fact that the guards were still chasing his mate. He did not even consider the possibility that Lu Meili hated him because of the chase. 

"Give me more healing potions!" Long Cheng exclaimed to the male medic who was taking care of Lou Bai earlier. He wanted to get better as soon as possible as he could not wait to see her. 

"So you were saying, almost twenty combined forces of a special unit, royal soldiers as well as regular police were not enough to capture a single woman?" Long Jun asked almost taunting with his arms crossed over his c.h.e.s.t. 

In front of Long Jun was Wang Xui, whose face was red from embarrassment. 

"Er, you could say that Your Highness…" Wang Xui murmured. 

"Heh." Long Jun's quick response that did not hide his disappointment. 

Wang Xui felt like burying himself somewhere as he was alone facing their generals. Regardless of the reason, they still failed. He kind of regretted not chasing after the woman instead of allowing Lou Mary to do it and be on command. If he did, would he be on the hot seat alone? 

"Your Highness, are you alright?" Wang Xui tried to look for a way out and asked Long Cheng suddenly who was still sitting on the floor holding his head with a silly smile on his face. The main reason why they were anxious about hurting the woman was because of this prince, after all. By calling the other's attention, Wang Xui was hoping for Long Jun to remember the cause of this chase. 

Long Cheng hummed in delight despite his discomfort, "Hmm, never better." 

That earned a snort from Long Jun. "Don't try to shift the blame. That shifter was already punished for it." He said, referring to Long Cheng. 

"Stop wasting time talking. Where is she now? Is this Voltare heading there?" Long Cheng asked seriously.

Long Jun checked the virtual screen on his communicator, "She is headed to a forest near the street end."

Long Cheng felt dread before asking, "Street end from here… What forest?" 

"Thunder forest."

Lou Mary was able to track the soldiers who were chasing after a single woman and followed after them. 'How could we waste so much time and energy just trying to capture a single woman? A foreigner who tried to seduce a royal dragon shifter and we also need to capture her alive! How could Prince Cheng demand us to do this?' She thought to herself with unmasked jealousy. 

"He was probably hexed by a love potion. Don't worry My Prince, I will make sure that once I get a hold of her, you will not d.e.s.i.r.e her anymore!" Lou Mary vowed, with sheer confidence as she looked forward to destroying Lu Meili's face…
