Awoken In Modern Times As A Vampire Ghost With A System

Kevin says "W-Well, I'm not going to be killing anyone any time soon so I guess im going to have to stick to completing quests for now. Wait, you did say there were other things I can do, can you specify what some of those other things are?"

{unfortunatly all of the other things that you can do to gain experience are unavailable for the system to tell you about right now but you can gain access to them overtime randomly by doing certain tasks, the system cannot explain what those tasks are yet as it does not have the information required to do so.}

Kevin sighs and then says "Well, It seems all I can do for now is complete quests, hey system are there any easy quests I can get, maybe like helping someone, or training my body every day, something easy like daily quests that I can simply complete every day would be nice too."

{Once you begin your first training session the system will set a daily quest that allocates with your time of training everyday, if you don't meet the requirements to complete the quest on time then there will be consequences, those consequences are for your own good, however as you are right now it may kill you so consequences will be turned off for the daily quests you receive until your body reaches a certain age and you got used to it enough or until it at least improves enough so you wont die from the consequences.}

Kevin slightly shivers at what the system just said about the consequences and then shakes his head to get rid of that thought. Kevin says "Alright, thanks for turning those off." Kevin's stomach growls after he says that and he then says "I'm hungry now, I guess I should get something to eat." He pauses for a moment and then his expression turns a bit grim before saying "Wait, system you said I had to drink blood right, can I eat normal food too?"

{Yes, for now you are only a normal vampire fledgling and your soul/ spectral form hasn't fully merged with this body yet as you do not meet the requirements to do so nor do you have the things needed to do so. This means that since you haven't merged with it completely, you can enjoy human foods without it tasting bland or your body trying to reject it. The system has tried to make it so you can enjoy human life for as long as you wish and you can merge yourself once you get the requirements met or you can just wait a long time before doing so.}

Kevin gives a thumbs up and then says "Thanks system, I'm going to go eat now." Kevin then walks over to one of his cabnets and pulls out some cup noodles. kevin says "Welp, its time for my first meal after thousands of years." Kevin cooks his noodles in the microwave and then goes to his couch, sits down, and begins to eat. Kevin's eyes sparkle with amazement and then he says "THIS IS SO GOOD!"

Meanwhile about a quarter of the way down the alley that Kevin lives in, a beautiful woman and a boy with blonde hair are being pushed deeper in the alley. It's sam and his mother, and they are being forced to go somewhere by some gang members! Sam's mother stops moving for a few seconds and one of the four men say "Move it, or i will kill this brat!" Sam's mother frowns and then keeps moving, she has tears running down her cheeks and Sam does as well.

They both know where this is going, these men are just horny dogs that want to take advantage of Sam's mother! After a few more minutes of walking they arrive at a stair case leading to a door, and the gang members drag them down the stairs and now they all stand before the door. Meanwhile, within the bas.e.m.e.nt kevin is getting ready for a fight, he has also has his dagger out and is clutching it tightly. Kevin whispers "Stats."

Kevin thinks to himself 'Alright, now its finnally time to put some stat points into strength, im confident that I should be able to handle those four men out there and save the boy and woman.' Kevin then puts his five stat points into strength and prepares to handle the men that are about to enter his home. A few seconds later the door opens and in walks the men that were outside, with a boy and woman who is having her b.u.t.t grabbed by a man while she is walking into the bas.e.m.e.nt.

The men notice Kevin and also how the bas.e.m.e.nt is completely different now and the one grabbing the woman's but stops and says "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU KID AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN OUR HIDEOUT?!" Kevin grins and says "This is my home now, and im going to have to ask that you kindly let go of those two people, other wise your not going to like what happens to you." The man who spoke seems to notice the dagger and grins before saying "And what if we dont kid?"

Kevin frowns and then closes his eyes and says "Then I'm going to have to kill you, I dont want to but if you dont leave those people alone and get out of here then I will." The man steps forward until he is right in front of Kevin and he looks down at him before grinning and saying "Heh, your just a kid, how the hell are you gonna over power all of us?" Kevin frowns at that because at this point he doesn't think of himself as just a kid.

Hell he knows that he is "Techncally" a kid now because of his new body, but that doesnt mean he is "Just a kid" He is so much more than that, and now this random a.s.s man dares to say that he is just a kid, this ticked Kevin off a bit. Kevin looks up with a shit eating grin and then jumps behind the man and rushes toward the other three, ignoring the one behind him for now. He kills them all with quite quick slashes across the necks and then walks up to the man who talked down to him.

He cuts the mans leg and he falls down and is basically bowing before him now. Kevin then says "Heh, the thing is im not just a kid, its such a shame that you came across me, and not only that but you disturbed my first meal in thousands of years, SCREW YOU I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU LIVE!" The man's eyes widen in fear and Kevin lops off his head. Kevin then wipes the sweat from his forhead and turns around to face the boy and woman who were dragged here.

Kevin notices that the boy is actually the same one that shot Jameson and was his fourth victim that he was after. Both the woman's and the boy's faces are pale as snow and their jaws are so wide open its as if they could fall to the ground. Kevin sighs and then says "Ahem, its nice to meet you, my name is Kevin Reven, are you two okay?"
