"Dai!" shouted Zang as a man dressed in green tank top and green pants with dark hair; came over, " Take Yami to Pit 2 and show him where to get the equipment."

"You got it boss!" The man said before looking at kuro,"Come on new blood!"

Zang looked at Lu Ten,"As for you Ryu I'll personally take you to the mines as I'll be the one personally overseeing you. Come now and follow me. First we'll have you prepared to mine by getting the right equipment how else will you be extracting right?"

And so both the brothers have gone to get the necessary equipment such as helmets made of iron, tough black leather gloves and iron pickaxes and Lu Ten also had to take a torch as it is dark in the mines he's going to.

At Kuro's...

Kuro followed this guy called Dai to an area near the city, there he found lots of men, bulky men, working and diging holes in the ground and extracting and collecting piles of rocks which they then have to carry in baskets back to the city where it'll be further broken down.

There were three major holes, Hole A, Hole B and Hole C. There were three teams assigned and each team had a number from 1 to upper, the closer your number was to one being the team leader the more you got payed. To raise in rank you have to work harder than the rest and achieve more as rank is achieved through continuous merit.

"Your C23 now go to work, talk to C1 who'll you'll be your team leader you better listen to his advice as a team needs to work together not as separate." said Dai as he went to his station.

So Kuro went ahead to C1 and talked to him. C1 said that Kuro will be mining down and then he'll be passing the pieces into the absket which he will carry further ahead to the city with the rest of the baskets.

Bam! Bam!

Kuro slammed his pickaxe down into the rock hole and as his pick slammed the ground, fragments of rock were scattered and then he had to pile it with the rest of the rocks.

Kuro actually found this as a great exercise to train his body's physical strength and also master the art of infusing chi into his body to give quick bursts of power.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Kuro continues to slam the pick like a madman as the other miners looked at Kuro with reminiscence of their past spirits when they first joined and have been mining too like madmen but found it as a waste of effort as their bodies tired out and their spirits broken the day after.

Meanwhile with Lu Te...

Lu Ten was assigned to work near the entrance of the mine whilst all the miners were very far from his workspace he was the only one, he was assigned to dig a jade deposit and he had a small basket by his side meanwhile sometimes one of the miners would push a cart that had something in it but they would tell him not to look otherwise he would be fired. The first one to tell him that was obviously Zang.

To Lu Ten it seemed like Zang was isolating him, he and the miners are acting suspicious as if they were hiding something but he can't se right now as he knows he's being monitored . In an unknown territory and without his brother in an area with people ill intent towards him seems dangerous if he doesn't follow what they say until he and his bro make a plan.

Lu Ten spent the entire time there just mining jade in a dark tunnel inside a mountain. Nothing very interesting the entire day.

Afterwards the brothers reunited at Shuin's place and had a good night sleep.

Afterwards a week passed as they worked their butts off mining and as for their pay they received a minimum amount of Dan Coins, silver coins that were doughnut shaped. This made the brothers unsatisfied but Shuin told them to relax and that they can at least buy few loafs of bread. Plus they have to blend in with the crowd who do not display their dissatisfaction.

One day whilst Lu Ten was working with another jade vein near the entrance there was a food break and everyone except for him came out of the tunnel.

'I probably shouldn't go but this is my chance. Hope no one notices me. i have to be fast!'

Lu Ten boosted further deeper into the tunnel like a bullet and as he reached the end of the tunnel he finds a massive cavern inside the mountain. It was filled with pinkish purple crystals that he has never seen before and he has seen many gemstones before as royalty.

"HA seems you have fallen for the trap! I told you to continue mining that vein and never looking this way but now you did. I was testing and monitoring you to see if an outsider like you is daring to uncover our little sins. But too bad as no one will." Zang was standing in front of Lu Ten and when Lu Ten wasn't looking he was hit at the back of the head with a blunt stick knocking him out.

Meanwhile Kuro was sitting at a spot where he and Lu Ten would eat together during lunch breaks but the brother never came this could mean one thing.

"Motherf....!"
