Avalon Reincarnated

Wendy and The Doctor and the other family had to attend clan meeting in the ancestral birthplace of the clan, Closer in the middle of the Central Sea. He had found a clue that could help everyone however in return he demanded that each family head renounce their claim to head of the clan.

This policy was the excuse the Khans' needed who promptly left with most of their allies in toe, it is wildly suspected that Augustine will become the new capital of whatever the Khans form as a means to rule their part of the world. Nolan was truly angry he had held talks with many members of the Khan family and received many assurances from them only for them to turn his power grab into their own. A month later Augustine Empire was born. In truth Avalon and Augustine had always operated as separate entities it would be apt to say that these are two countries that operated as a union. That is until Nolan.

The Khans placed themselves as the Royal family in Augustine Empire, promptly went to with the neighboring kingdoms who saw their chance to claim the fabled city of Augustine. Nolan who had expected this reaction from Wendy was shocked when she did not speak against him, she only left the hall like the Khan's.

Nolan seat of power re in the a Kingdom South-West of Avalon called the Imperium of Sol a deeply religious and xenophobic nation-state. Nolan would have preferred to launch this takeover at a later stage when his grandson is a little older, but he had to push forward because he had been losing power slowly ever since Wendy stepped away from the family following her brothers' untimely death.

The other kingdoms had also started to make moves being a general in the military of Avalon meant that Wendy was about to become very busy.

Nolan used his abilities to ensure that the temple on the vanishing isle stayed under his direct control. he had a manuscript from the fourth era stating the importance of the temple and how unlocking its secrets could lead to ultimate power. The mere thought of ultimate power had thrown reason out the window. Wendy lamented how her father at the thought of absolute power succ.u.mbed so easily to it.

The merfolk had also been busy as they conquered the Northern Kingdom of Keaton in a matter of days. Since then the city has been undergoing a lot of conversions to make it merfolk friendly. The other kingdom has allowed this because it was a micronation and the merfolk are not to have ever sieged inland city before or in any recorded texted.

In the month since the declaration the Imperium has conquered three kingdoms, inching it closer to Avalon, this also gave Avalon a chance the threat of the Imperium is a far dangerous element than Avalon at the moment.

The three remaining kingdoms between the Imperium of Sol and Avalon is the beastmen ran kingdom of Lunaria followed by a large forest said to house the kingdom of Elves and finally the Dwarven Kingdom of Quire who lived in one of the most heavily fortified kingdoms. A series of walls surround the biggest province of the kingdom which also is where the capital, Foundry can be found.

The armies of the Imperium march across the land devastating various kingdoms. The Dwarves and Beastman have reached out to Avalon to prevent the same thing from happening to them. The King Several ministers have formed a special task force in charge of keeping these kingdoms alive as a barrier between it and the Imperium.

The personal fallout for the family is also heavy many people can longer be trusted Wendy, has warned about visiting any cousins at the moment. The distance between the main families means that for the most part its the branch families of each main that are most affected. The Doctor had to take a sabbatical from work, due to the threats that he and Wendy had to handle.

Wendy had chosen to be neutral but the actions of Baldwins, a branch family directly under the control of Nolan, attacked the house destroying most of in a fire. Wendy had let it slip that they would be home early to the family, unfortunately, it confirmed her worst suspicion that Nolan wants to make sure no one can threaten his power.

Kwanda had been walking with her when she was trying to explain to him, how the family is turning on each other and why his grandfather tried to kill them. Wendy then began to make her preparations, collecting her allies and making sure that all the kids have a relatively stable home life for the foreseeable future.

Nolan is in talks with the elves but they are extremely reluctant to allow his armies to march through their lands which is naturally and magically protected by the forest. Nolan is in a deadlock it would cost too much in resources to march all the way north to Lunaria, The Dwarven kingdom Quire is to heavily fortified and the elves are elves.

Nolan thou hope that with the next two years to have solved the mystery of temple which should allow him to control the entire western continent.

Kwanda has made it his personal mission to stop Nolan, because in the fire Liza lost a her treasure box. This was a huge emotional blow to her as it contained trinkets of memories with her family and also a hand painting Kwanda had made in the first week of school. She kept the painting because unlike all of there paintings back then. His was extremely detailed and accurate not something an ordinary child would make, it was the first time she thought he is truly special.
