Avalon Reincarnated

Chapter 65 - Breakthrough

Zodwa and Kwanda moved to the training area his training with this particular sister of his had proven to be extremely beneficial to all his training. Even if he had made very little progress on his teleport skill, his overall control and mana purity was almost as high as his sister's. if any normal child of seven and half was even half as powerful they would be powerhouses in their respective schools of magic, well all but one school of course.

Before the break the principle had noted how potent the talent of class 1A in particular the student who had contact with Kwanda all showed improvement in ability. They were all pushing each to reach further and further in all honesty the principle had brought in the parents to discuss a small change to the curriculum the following academic year as to help these exceptional students.

Back in the training chamber of the Ship which was located on the lowest floor of the ship just above the what would be the engine room on a normal flying ship. They had descended three flights of stairs to come upon the room, inside it was a magical marvel. By using sun stones found all the planet they could create an artificial environment that resembled the outside world. A very basic one no bigger than a back yard of a flat. However for their purposes it was more than enough.

Kwanda begun the meditative movements, circulating all his mana in his body, Kwanda felt a strange emanating from his body, he carefully followed the energy.....Zodwa quickly stood up and placed her on the back of his neck directly above the nape. She begun to chant the gold that held her hair up melted into a liquid a formed a rune on her hand she was really struggling to contain the mana that Kwanda was releasing, She then grabbed the small amount of Cosmodium, a piece she had gotten from grandpa Nolan. She used it as an absorption matrix to hold mana before reintroducing it to Kwanda in an even purer form. This small act also would give her something she did not expect to achieve for many years....Kwanda was fully immersed in his following of the mana to him his movements were extremely fast and precise causing to sweat one mistake and he would lose the mana. He concentrated even harder the mana gradually leading towards the egg in the shape of sphere in, his pet space. It completely swallowed the sphere, as Kwanda carefully focused he felt what he needed to do and carefully guided the mana into the sphere the mana flowed in and out every time it did he had to focus even harder on controlling it. It was the first he was thankfully for his even if he had never done anything like this before, he did not feel it was impossible only that if he trained harder he could be better at it.

He continued to gently control the mana into the sphere, at the same he could feel his mana condense it was because his pet and him were in perfect unison anything that would happen to him would happen to his pet and visa versa. Soon after what felt like days of effort Kwanda begun to see a rune form all around his pet it was the same rune his mother had it reminded of a story she had once told him. It brought him to tears as he had managed to condense the soul rune of his clan it was a first step towards creating an area aura like how Zodwa had or even Richard thou Richards one was natural talent thus it was at the moment something Kwanda cannot hope to compare to. As the mana settled he felt his mana dwindle until it became a body of water surrounding his pet space. This was also because of the witchhunters guide to survival, the first level of mage as having a pure crown with a manawell.

As he was finishing off Kwanda felt like kicking himself he had done the very thing he told not to. Wendy had told him that "When reading the book he should not assign importance to phrases and terms he did not understand. he should just follow the instructions until he understands the meaning of words through experience or sometimes a mental breakthrough." He had thought that a manawell was a special connection that he would have to spend years to acquire, however he realised the book had described a stage of his mana that others did not it was not special at all it was shuts the next natural progression of his mana. He know understood why the book always used water metaphors to describe his mana as it was literally a well of mana, thou if one were to see they would throw a fit in jealously as his well was more like a deep borehole that lead to an underground ocean, an ocean that he had yet to even know was there.

As he came out he found Zodwa was still doing exercises, Kwanda was drenched from head to toe in sweat, "Do not stop we have only just started training you still have a long way to go boy, now continue," To his shock Kwanda had only been in the exercise room for about an hour, and still had five hours to before they were done. Zodwa smiled to herself as they continued to train well into the evening.

She had gained a huge bounty too, she is now probably ranked fourth in the family now in terms of raw power, however the Cosmodium had entered a refined state she could now mold it like however she wanted. It normally takes one many years to get the rock to become foldable to the touch. She had hypothesized that Kwanda had an almost perfectly pure mana pool, coupled with her control it drastically shortening the amount of time that is necessary.

She had seen the rune in his pet space, She wanted to investigate first before telling him, however she did know that at least their original conjecture was correct, he did belong to the lost family of the clan.

Kwanda had also felt much lighter his movements had a crispness to them that they did not before, after all his mana is now at its purest almost like he knew that Wendy was planning something special for them.
