Avalon Reincarnated

Daniel Chetty is boy with a gift for wind magic. He has been practicing a wind strike and a wind movement skill. Together with his basic training from Kwanda, Daniel was pretty much useless in close combat. He had been trying to at least land a punch on Diana.

Daniel is a boy of Indian decent, with bright green eyes, black hair strong like a bear. He was quite cute looking with a defining scar he had across his cheek from a old childhood event that when Kwanda asked him about it, he said he did not want to talk about it.

His current weapon was a bladed wand, a standard weapon used by mages in this era. While he was not proficient with it in close combat, the number of wind strikes he could unleash was growing everyday.

He had a gotten his pet on his fifth birthday which also happened to be the day, he shot his first wind strike. His parents Roy and Suraya got him a Azuresprite.

An Azuresprite is said to be a bird that can be seen before a tornado they usually serve as warning system they are intimately connected to the wind almost as much as a thunderhawk is connected to storms.

Daniel stepped on to the platform facing Rose North. He was going through the steps in his head about how he was going to handle the fight. The gong suddenly sounded he had spent his two minutes worrying about what might happen.

What was happening was that Rose had started moving towards in a straight Line. From his point of view she is very fast, he shot two vertical wind strikes and one horizontal.

He also moved back a bit from the middle of the stage. Wind flowed under his feet.

Rose had dodged all his attacks she was quickly closing the distance. He launched another wind strike at her to the right, so she would come from the left. She did as he expected rolling to the left and moving towards him.

He stopped his wind steps he was going to launch another wind strike, and then he was going to use the blade on his wand as a dagger. He had been practicing while not confident he was sure that only Diana and Kwanda had seen him fight.

The timing had to be perfect, he watched her get closer waiting for the right moment. In the last second he lept back while launching a wind strike at a skewed angle. Wind Strike!

Three attacks flew through the air. When Daniel opened his eyes he was lying on the ground outside the ring in a pool of his own sweat.

Rose had beaten him decisively, with just a few attacks she achieved a complete victory. She had not even pulled her weapon or used her spells. She did thou tell Daniel that he nearly got her if he did not shout out that last wind strike she would have taken it full force.
